Does it make a difference what surgeon I should choose whether I'm male or female.

I'm a dude looking for a surgeon to do ptosis correction + double eyelid + epi. I'm deciding between Dr. Seo at MVP or Dr.Kwon at Teuim. Am I on the right track?

I don't think it really matters, but I mean if it were my face I would want to go with a doc who at least has some experience with male eyes.

I know the doc I went to is popular with males as well (he pops up a lot on Korean cafes for male DES).

Yes it makes a big difference.
Girls generally tend to get higher creases while guys tend to have eye surgery that produces very low creases. So if you're a guy who wants high creases then make sure you on par with your Korean surgeon because Korean surgeons generally share that same male aesthetic in terms Asian eyelids. Most important thing to mention to them, I think, is that you want your pupils to show more and your crease should look defined.
Search up " 남자 눈수술 " and you will find that the post op photos have very low eyelids after surgery but still look big.

Hope this helped. By the way, I'm also a dude and I also just did eyelid surgery a few days ago and I consulted with dr. Seo at MVP too. He's very polite but I decided to go to Hyundai Mihak because dr hwang ho is famous and I like his style.

What's the difference between Dr. Seo's vs. Dr. Hwang Ho's style for eyelids?

Sorry this is so late but I went with Dr. Jang from Ive. You can see my review on several places (like Ive, MVP, Shinseung) in my post history.

I heard Dr. Hwang of Hyundai aesthetics is famous for eye and eye revision surgeries.
Anyways, how is your result so far? Because I'm also interested in.

I heard he is an influencer in Korea and had DES and Rhinoplasty. I like the results

Maybe you want to try Opera as well. I had a really good consultation there. My consultation at MVP was okay, but Opera was definitely more detailed and longer. The doctor at Opera (Dr sung) was very nice and did not want to upsell me on lateral epicanthoplasty. He said I had too much whites below my pupil and it wouldn’t look nice. Whereas MVP didn’t mention such a thing, and I felt they were really needy and wanting me to confirm my surgery there.
