jany-park Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Hello, I'm currently living in Korea and I used to work for several plastic surgery hospitals as global hospital coordinator. So if you guys have any quetions about Korean plastic surgery hospitals, I will be able to answer it objectively. It seems like a lot of people here are needing proper answer, which I can do, so please comment below for me to answer your questions. I will try my best to answer it. Feel free to ask any questions!
wanttobepretty Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 hi. would like to know which are good reputation local hospitals apart from the usual one e.g. GNG, TLPS, etc. plz and thank you
l0vem3 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Have you heard of H Plastic Surgery before and if yes, what do you think about the clinic? Is there any other clinics famous for restorative/reconstruction surgeries?
yiseul Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 1. Can you please tell me which 3 surgeons are the best option for revisional full-incisional DES? I want natural and minimum, if possible 0, scarring. 2. What is the approximate cost (not inflated cost, closer to price that Koreans get) for full body liposuction? Not just a regular full body lipo but head to toe lipo including chin, neck, buffalo hump, full back, bra line, accessory breast, full abdomen, sides, flanks, area around buttocks, full upper leg (inner, outer side, back), chanel line, knee, calves, ankle, almost every lipo available area. 3. Which doctors can do zygoma body shaving? I don’t need L osteotomy since I don’t have any arch, so I don’t like my bones to be broken.

What the....???? Are you seriously thinking of doing all that lipo in one session??? I really hope not! As I've been through it myself on a couple of areas and still on a long recovery, i have realized that liposuction of any kind should not be taken lightly as a "non-invasive" treatment, despite what doctors claim that injecting tumescent fluid will help to numb pain... NOT always the case! Most likely it's better to have sections of liposuction spread over a period of months, maybe years, in tandem with exercise and healthy eating to help weight loss and reduce the need for lipo in several areas. No offence, @Yiseul, but from what I've seen of your other posts in this forum, I hope you'll have the sensibility to think over such extensive lipo very carefully.
kc_134 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Hi missy, are there any clinics popular with Korean locals that we foreigners don't know about? Preferably for specializing in facial surgery: nose, eyes, chin. I feel that only a few clinics are continuously talked about here on PF, and I'd just like to know if there are better clinics out there!
yiseul Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Well, in two sessions with a week apart actually. I had full upper body lipo before and it was really easy recovery for me. I was like driving just after lipo and hanging out (no drinking) with my friends on a third day. So for me full body lipo is just a piece of cake. And also I had quite athletic body (like a bikini model) but irregularities left after my first lipo. To get my smooth silhoutte back I intentionally gained weight just to be get nice contour by liposuction. It is not like I am getting suctioned enormous amount of fat, so it’s just okay for me.
sheonlylooks25 Posted April 6, 2018 Posted April 6, 2018 Anyway there is a LIMIT set by medical bodies about how much fat can be extracted as the extraction removes blood too and considered dangerous once maximum 5 litres? is extracted. Body can go into shock. Having said that however they do extreme body contouring in Sth American countries and the Dominican Republic. Not kidding you go in size 16 UK or size US 14 and on the operating table you are reduced 2 sizes.
missy_sana Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 Well, good luck, I'll be interested in how your recovery goes when you get it all done.
yiseul Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 I’ll let you updated. Note: I am still not decided on when. Maybe in the end of May or in early Oct.
eurasianbeauty Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 You can do full body lipo safely in two different surgeries. I see some sites I have yet to research. Thank you, missy!
missy_sana Posted April 7, 2018 Posted April 7, 2018 - - - Hmmm, we all fish around forum threads and trawl the internet with that same question "Who is good/better for (X)?" and subject our life, bodies and buying habits to what total strangers have to say about a product or service. Well, to be honest, your guess is as good as mine. You can search my posts to see where I've been to and enquired at, because I can't give you a definitive answer for your individual needs, nor do I wish to be seen as constantly promoting or criticizing a particular clinic. Continue to do thorough research beyond the threads here, maybe YouTube, medical journals, or use translation tools to browse other language/region-specific forums like Soyoung, RealSelf, Soompi, Kakao, or whatever is out there. I missed out seeing bits of vital info that could have averted me from particular risks in my journey. If your findings are inconclusive or mixed in opinions, then use your GUT INSTINCT to feel what is best for you, and think carefully, should you REALLY go ahead with it? if so, then be prepared (emotionally & financially) for the unexpected, as cliched as it sounds.
jany-park Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 There are many big and famous hospitals in Seoul. I'll introduce three hospitals first. Dream Plastic Surgery is popular plastic surgery hospital in Apgujeong. Many Korean celebrities, especially k-pop stars, are making plastic surgeries. Id plastic surgery is a large plastic surgery hospital. He is also doing a lot of marketing in Korea, and has had a lot of eye surgery and facial contour surgery. 101 Plastic Surgery is famous for Rhinoplasty Surgery. If you tell me what kind of plastic surgery you want, I'll recommend a suitable hospital for you.

evacandy Posted April 8, 2018 Posted April 8, 2018 Hi Jany! Thanks for starting this thread and showing willingness to help. I am considering to do facial contouring to reduce the width of my lower face and I assume that that means some bone shaving is required. I am 51 and I'm afraid that reducing the bone volume on my face causes saggy skin. Do people need facelift after facial contouring? Can it be done at the same time as facial contouring? Can you name the best clinic that is specialized in facial contouring? How about facelift and fat transfer? Your feedback is greatly appreciated.
