madambutterfly89 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Hi guys, I have shared my issues with my soft tissue after having my cheekbone and jaw reduced on another thread. It's been a few years since my surgery and after all the research and consult I still haven't found a surgeon that I can trust and believe in. It's funny how I once dislike my cheekbone and jaw I now miss it terribly. What's done is done and I can only move forward from here. If anyone can recommend a place for fat transfer and lift I would greatly, GREATLY appreciate it.
rosalind66 Posted May 26, 2018 Posted May 26, 2018 Hi Madambutterfly89, I'm terribly sorry to hear your experience. I think quite a few members here have posted about experience correcting sagging caused by previous unsuccessful surgeries through facelift, e.g. K Couture, Shermainetsj. K did it with a surgeon at Dream and Shermaine with a doctor from idea clinic. maybe you can contact them to ask about their surgeons, methodology and recommendation. it seems that many surgeons refuse to do ''real'' facelift (smas lift and the like) if the patient is quite young, and they tend to recommend other not so invasive lifting procedures like mini-facelift, thread lift etc. however, none of these mini lifting procedures are effective for long term results. usually the results last only for a while, so I caution you against it if a surgeon recommended it to you. you might also want to check out Area88 PS clinic. I stumbled upon this clinic during my research, this clinic only performs rejuvenation procedures and one of the doc is president of Korean academic association of rejuvenation. the docs have been invited for lectures to surgery conferences (aps-iae.com) so I deduced he must be quite respected among his peers.
beauty12 Posted July 1, 2018 Posted July 1, 2018 Hi MadameButterfly, I feel for you and hope you can find a solution to your sagging issues now. Have you found other drs/ clinics to do liiting and fat grafting? I will also consult with Area 88 dr. Lee
madambutterfly89 Posted July 1, 2018 Author Posted July 1, 2018 Thank you everyone for your suggestions and input. I will consider area88. At this time I'm trying to do as much research as possible-weighing in every risk this time around. I can't afford to make another mistake...it's already made me a prisoner of my own body. I hope nobody every goes through this- it's waking up and living a nightmare every single day. Watching people enjoy their lives as you lose yours. I will never understand how surgeons can take a persons face lightly. Take their money and just leave them to fiend for themselves like their nothing.
