madambutterfly89 Posted May 14, 2018 Posted May 14, 2018 Hey Purse forum, Has anyone had hydroxyapatite for cheek augmentation after not being happy with their cheekbone reduction? I'm trying to get a slight projection and lift. I know there are other options such as fat grafting but not sure if that will weigh my face down or if a lift is needed simultaneously. Thank you.
k-couture Posted May 15, 2018 Posted May 15, 2018 I don't think many ppl would have done hydroxy besides me since the surgeon who pioneered this technique is aussie and if im not wrong, he only taught 2 other surgeons who to perform the procedure. One in Argentina or Brazil i can't remember which one it is. ive used hydroxy for a mandible reduction reversal after a botched jaw shaving at the yanhee hospital in bangkok. it was fused to the bone where the frontal jaw meets the chin. Im not sure if it works well on the outer cheekbone. I have however hydroxy in my mid cheekbone but that region is always untouched during a zygoma reduction
madambutterfly89 Posted May 15, 2018 Author Posted May 15, 2018 Thank you for sharing that. Are you happy with the HA and did you also have zygoma reduction?
madambutterfly89 Posted May 15, 2018 Author Posted May 15, 2018 Also, do you mind sharing a before and after photo through private message?
