h3b3 Posted May 28, 2018 Posted May 28, 2018 Hey all I underwent V-line surgery two years ago, when I was 19. The improvement is dramatic, but there is some asymmetry which bothers me so much when I look in the mirror. I've been thinking about it for a while now, and I've decided to have a revision done this year or next. Has anyone had experience with revision facial contouring? I know it's a major surgery, but I've been through it once and can handle it again if it means I can have my issues fixed. Thanks so much for any help!
watermelonyyyy Posted May 30, 2018 Posted May 30, 2018 Hey! Did you have asymmetry even before the surgery? Cause I heard it wouldnt be fixed if that's a case! Or is your asymmetry serious?
mlydzz Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 You don't mind the extra numbness youre going to get? Iave thought about it too sometimes but i really dont want more than my lower gum being numb
erer232 Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 No one can't get 100% symmetric face! Is it really bad?
dollh0use Posted June 1, 2018 Posted June 1, 2018 I agree with the numbness... I am still a bit numb on the very lower portion of my bottom gums. Honestly, I wouldn't do FC ever again after doing Zygoma and V-Line and Chin at the same time. It was so physically traumatic. You should look into facial fillers to even out imbalances, as they are cheaper, less invasive, faster recovery, usually dissolvable, and generally a more favorable experience than FC surgery. My zygomas are asymmetrical after my surgery and my jaw is also not perfectly equal, but I never expected them to be made perfect and am looking into getting fillers to even things out. Good luck!!
