@eurasianbeauty and @SassyQT are absolutely correct. This forum was made to help people with there research on finding the right clinic for their desired procedures. Yet, it is almost like if you seem "too helpful" youre condemned to being a promoter. Kinda reminds me of the Salam Witch Trials

The reviews, questions, or answers on this forum should not be the bottom line you decide which clinic to go to. They should only be factors.
The real decision is in yourself when you go to the actual clinic for a consult, meet the doctors, and judge for yourself.
I know what im saying is common sense, but it doesn't hurt to point out the obvious now and then hahah

First I click the clinic's chinese website to see the clinic's chinese name, copy text from image (as usually the chinese name is in the clinic logo image), copy paste it on the search feature on soyoung, and then google translate it. The MTL is usually clear enough.
But honestly the review text is not that important imho. Many speak about how they now feel so hot etc and not detailed explanation of the procedures. I only look at pics most of the time

THIS, RIGHT HERE, is the words of wisdom everyone should follow. Spend the time to consult at multiple clinics.

are u saying this to absolve urself for promoting ur FC review / "real stoty" at View? cuz i read that. and hit up the clinic to plan for my own consults. i became chummy & chatty w/ the consultants, who have since left. and when i brought up ur review for reference they slipped & said u were hooked up & discounted for promoting.

u say people should make decisions based on important factors. but ur decision was based on secret sponsorship. and girls who don't know that end up going in and paying for what u didn't.

@lanaxo23 actually it's quite common for clinics to give a discount in exchange for permission to use a patient's photos. Quite a few other purseforum members have gone this route. And actually, it's a relief to see the genuine results of regular females who are not famous youtubers. Or potentially fake patients whose makeup are caked on and photoshopped to no end.

Sarahdomm's pictures are definitely not photoshopped and getting a discount does not lessen the clinic/doctor's skill. For reference even Regen offers discounts in exchange for lizluv90's photos.

i think the definition of a promoter is not revealing u have a deal with clinics to post shill reviews and passing it off with words like "honest" and that u have no incentive for doing it. giving them rights to use ur photos on their website is different from them making you write an elaborate testimonial people are thinking has no strings attached. and from what i read some clinics don't snip those strings and give u ur money back until they see it go up and they approve it.

Nope, I wrote that because many times I saw @eurasianbeauty, @MissOrange , and others be blamed for being a promoter only when they went out of their way to help. Do I even need to post that no, I was not "hooked up" or discounted for promoting. It wouldn't even matter because would you still believe me, no. Do I care if you dont believe me, no. Am I trying to change your mind, hahah sorry but no. People arent idiots. My review never states "I went to View, so you should too." Thats why its called Honest Experience with my results, because its just that.

And Im also pretty sure I mentioned in my review that I consulted with other clinics and choose View from what they offered me with experience and safety. So I dont think you really read my review that well. If you want to assume "secrete sponsorship" go for it, I wont stop you, and quite frankly I dont really care. Like I stated in the response above and in my review, its best to have a face to face consult with clinics before making a decision. So good luck on your journey!

That seems to be the definition of getting a discount. A promoter on the other hand would be a employee of the clinic, getting paid a yearly salary and creating new member accounts to post fake reviews with terrible broken English. And when asked follow up questions, the original poster would not respond.

I hoped we could support and help each other in this forum, especially with such a sensitive topic as plastic surgery. @Sarahdomm ‘s review helped me a lot, and I don’t know whatever happened between her and View but you can’t just start attacking her on some gossip or hearsay you’ve heard from employees that left View:hrmm:
Let’s just help and be there for each other!

blurring the lines between sponsored messages and real objective testimonials to get a discount is undermining a community of people seeking real experiences and is worse in my opinion. @daysuntilpretty here's one review that people also thought "helped a lot"

who wants to read a newspaper where you can't tell the difference between journalism and ads? that's why they write "Advertorial" at the top of sponsored stories.

If you got a discount for your review then you would do everyone a favor by writing in bold, "Sponsored Review for discount" at the very top.

"
but then people will think I'm promoting, and the admins might not allow it" - yes that's called transparency and helps people evaluate what you put out there better because they're using that info to decide if they're going to let a stranger from the other side of the planet cut them open.

@lanaxo23 I understand you would love purseforum to be a real community where everyone shared their before and after pictures with no financial incentive given. Unfortunately 98% of members do not wish to disclose their results and share pictures.

So if 2% who are willing to share get a discount for posting their pictures/experience. I think the community is still enriched by those reviews. (Possibly everyone should keep in mind, the poster might have received a discount.) They are still genuine results by the clinic/surgeon with no photoshop involved.

Even if a review was done for a 10% discount, hundreds of members have already benefitted seeing those pictures. We shouldn't discourage future reviewers from posting b&a pictures. That would turn purseforum into a community with just written experiences and no pictures. None of us want that.

^This!
No one wants to admit if they got a discount to write a review, which means that, in a lot of instances, a person who goes to a clinic for surgery after reading said reviews might get worse treatment and even be botched because the clinic didn't bother to try as hard for a person who wasn't going to write them a review or share their pictures. It's happened before with GNG.

People -- if you got a discount, DISCLOSE IT.
