Multiple Surgeries at Once?

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone! So... here's the story: I'm planning on getting rhinoplasty + double eyelid surgery + V-line surgery. The clinics that I'm looking into are: View, Item, Regen, and Dream. Here's the problem - View, Item, and Regen all gave me prices of the above procedures without saying anything about getting multiple procedures. However, Dream told me that V-line surgery can't be done at the same time as rhinoplasty + double-eyelid surgery.

What's your take on this matter? Can one get V-line surgery at the same time as rhinoplasty + double-eyelid surgery? Should I get all procedures done at once? Or should I get my eyes and nose fixed first? Thanks for your input!

@lapislazulidoll
There is a MAXIMUM AMOUNT OF TIME to be under GA, before it is unsafe So too many procedures @ONE time is either unsafe or the outcome may not be optimal, if there are complications during any one of the sx. . So you have to research and decide what is important to you.
Also find out what should be done first, so the next PS will be in balance on your face.
Always,remember safety first and GA,time is limited. Good luck in your journey.
Sorry cannot help in the types of sx.

Well there are some platic surgery clinics like that due to the way they do anesthesia...
Some clinics shove an anethetic device inside the nostrils when performing v-line surgery for doctors to perform better without getting the device in their ways. I guess it depends clinic to clinic.

I have had rhino and v-line separately....imo I wouldn’t do them together if I was to do it again. Not to say everyone will have a bad experience, I hear some people were fine but if you are unlucky like me and end up having too much swelling the first part of recovery could be a bit traumatizing.

Rhino was a pretty quick procedure and healed relatively quick as well (7 days I was back to work after open rhino). Also can be done under just local or local + sedation.

When I had v line, I was given the option to leave after recovering from GA. Decided to stay as I was alone. My face swelled up to the point of having to remove the compression dressings and sinuses started acting up enough that I needed a breathing tube through my nose and phlem suctioned every hour or so or I legit couldn’t breathe (which has happened to quite a few ppl on here to varying degrees). Stayed in hospital an extra day. Whole time I was thinking: clinics are nuts to offer rhino + v line together...couldn’t imagine having a breathing tube put in my new nose with even more swelling and blood.

I wouldnt do it together if i were you. Reason why dream doesn't allow it is because their facial contouring specialist is very strict. He doesn't want additional swelling on top of the swelling from the v line, which is quite significant. Additionally, doing rhino, especially open rhino which requires a gauze down the patient's nostrils to the back of the throat, can make the recovery alot tougher and some patients can get breathing difficulty.

About 2 years ago a guy from the forums did v line, zygoma and nose at the same time and his swelling was so frightening. The worst ive ever seen. He had to go back 2 days later to get the fluid drained. I think he did it at face line or girin i can't remember which clinic anymore. Swelling this severe i don't believe is that common an occurrence. Then again I also don't know many ppl who do all 3 procedures all at once so....

But eyes and vline shoudnt be a problem imo.

Hey guys! So, I actually just got all the same procedure that you want done 2 days ago and my swellings okay. I usually heal very quickly though and I don’t usually swell much but goddam this is a lot even for me. Kcoutre is right I do have some breathing problems but I’m use to breathing through my nose so it’s okay. That’s why I went to go get my nose done in again in the first place. For the surgeries, because I did all my surgeries on one day the doctors mapped out a plan for me and the whole staff walked me through everything. I was really nervous when I finally got on the surgery table but dr. Jeong talked to me the whole way what he was doing which really helped ease my nervousness. I pretty much had the whole hospital to my self that day. It was a 7 hour surgery. First days post op was good. Second day is terrible but both doctors came in and told me the second and third day was going to be the worst. They said I would have the most pain in day 2 and 3 but I’m fine. It’s just the swelling and the runny nose that sucks. By the way, if your going to get all surgeries done at once make sure you stay in a place that has everything on hand. I’m staying at castlefine ( a serviced apartment) in the Yeoksam area. I didn’t know but after I got back to my hotel I was unprepared and found out that there is literally a porridge restraunt right in front of my hotel. Thank god. Pumpkin porridge is 8 dollars and it should last at least 2 big meals. Let me know if you have anymore questions. I’d love to help out since you’ve all really helped me on these forums.
