tomatoey
Tell me about it... I live in Australia so I’m returning to Australia where it’s likely to get to 40-45 degrees for two weeks or so and average to 35-38 degrees Celsius. Did think whether summer (in Australia) is the best time to it but it’s the only time to have days off from work... The skin part - seriously playing havoc on my mind. I pray I pray I pray... Also I’ve asked them if they keep medical records of the surgery or can they send me a copy in case I needed follow up back home or just future reference it for my own records, they’re not so keen. I wonder why. Is this common? Did you ask for yours?
itscarmelabella
Hi guys! have you heard of View clinic in Seoul?
tomatoey
No I haven’t... I had no idea where to start so I just googled “where to do liposuction in Korea” or somethingvto that effect. And it brought me to whatclinic.com. And I just picked two from that list which seemed to have all positive reviews. And emailed them some basic questions, like costs and how long do I need to stay, do they have English speaking staff. One had hundreds all positive reviews Grace Plastic Surgery or something like that and I contacted them, asking for price. They asked for photos and I sent some and I was quoted in excess of AUD$13,000 for both arms and belly. So I didn’t bother. The other one had a more personal response... first response explaining the basic details and asked for photos. I sent them some and it came to about US$3500 for both arms and belly and I just decided to go with it. And I started sending them messages via WhatsApp. Grace Clinic had since messaged me a few times and also WhatsApp me but I wasn’t gonna go with it. fortunecat
I think you can ask them for medical records. There were some forumners who asked for their plastic surgery documentation/records and the clinics gave them. For me, I did not because I think liposuction is a "simple" procedure where fats are taken out. I did mini liposuction under LA and minimal fats were extracted out. I did my upper and lower abdominal areas. The clinic where you did your lipo, was cheap.
pompom877
don't worry! I did full body lipo in a span of 3 days in 2016 in dec. (thank God it was cold) my only advise is to **** before your tummy and leg surgery. because after it.. it's going to be one of the most unnerving experience u ever had. peeing was a huge problem because u don't want to remove your garments but yet don't want to wet it. so, buy some pee pads also. just in case. me and my sisters went together to 365 to get ours done. so far after so many years.. our shape still remains..but it seems harder to lose weight now. (maybe coz I'm older!) docs there are quite nice.
ongrace
Hi all, I just returned fm Seoul and done with lipo for tummy, thigh, calves and neurectomy. Was placed on GA and stayed overnight. The side of the leg was extremely swollen so I had 2 sessions of machine treatment to reduce the swollen leg. My advise is to wear a bigger shoes. Also, get a front seat for the plane back so there is more leg room. I did that but ot seems like my leg swell even more and upon my return I have trouble walking and limps alot. I haven’t been sleeping well many nights since the ops as it is so uncomfortable to lie on your side and the need to elevate my legs with extra pillows. The compression garment was only wore after 1 week but it’s really warm to wear even when the room is air conditioned. Resting in bed took up most of my daily activities but healing takes long process.
ongrace
I wonder how long will the bruises goes away and whether wearing compression garment for 8 hrs should be sufficient instead of 24hrs.
pompom877
wear it 24hours at least for the first 3 months! dont do what i did.. i regret not wearing it longer.
ongrace
But it is not comfortable, very warm and I cant sleep well at night. When i try to turn to the sides, it is painful even though I placed many pillows around me.
pompom877
i know its uncomfortable. but think long term. if you keep removing it now, it will damage your figure in the future, then all the pain you are going through now is going to be ruined. wearing the compress garmet will help to "hold" the figure, at least thats how i saw it. my sister wore it longer than me and her results are so so so much better! ongrace
Thanks for the encouragement. Will try and endure as long as I could. The bruises on one side of the leg is still very bad and it seems like result will not be noticeable at this point in time. About went did you see the transformation? Afraid the result may not be symmetrical for both legs based on what I see myself currently.
pompom877
wear the compression tights. I know it sucks. trust me I do. I live in a very hot and humid Singapore. if the bruises are bad, try to lift your leg up higher than your heart. it will lessen the edema and the bruises. did they give u a lotion to apply? it should have acania in it to lower the bruises. by month 1. the results was obvious. but by month 3, my figure was good. but it just looked like i lost weight overtime. =) how many post surgery are u? fortunecat
From what i read , compression garments help to reduce swelling and bruises. Thats why most surgeons would request liposuction patients to wear it 24hrs/day for at least 3 weeks.
ongrace
I only started wearing it 1 week after due to the extreme swollen right leg. And i bought arcina muscle gel to apply. I m currently 13 days post so hopefully both legs are symmetrical. What do you apply for scar reduction?
