phoebebuffey Posted July 5, 2018 Posted July 5, 2018 Something I'm having a really hard time with in my research is finding doctors who are specialized in certain fields - like nose or facial contouring or breast augmentation. I feel like a lot of times we look at the clinics as a whole, rather than the surgeons who make them up. I have a hard time deciphering which credentials are good, or which doctors perform only a few surgeries. I want to meet with Dr. Seo at MVP because of the amazing job he did on SmittenKitten's nose and because he's been recommended by MissOrange. But other than that, I don't feel like I "know" doctors in other clinics. Please share either: How to find out which doctors specialize in certain surgeries/areas Your own favorite doctors or good experiences with surgeons as recommendations for who to research for what procedure If you're like me and struggling to find doctors who specialize in things you want, you can post what you're looking for! Hopefully the more experiences members can help us noobs out. Personally, I'm looking for doctors in: Rhinoplasty Facial contouring (I want to remove my buccal fat pads / slim the fat on my face and neck but NOT do jaw reduction surgery or botox) Anti-aging Breast augmentation (and possibly areola reconstruction) Body liposuction (I'd like to look into getting my arms done) Veneers, if you have any dental recommendations Thanks guys!
pear-orange Posted July 6, 2018 Posted July 6, 2018 You can look at clinics Naver blog. See the most popular posts, and what kind of surgery do they post most often. Usually you can get a feel on the doc's specialty. Sometimes on the website the specialty of each surgeon is also written. Other than that, try contacting the clinic through Kakao/ Line/Whatsapp etc and ask.
