Rhinoplasty Journey in South Korea-From 8 clinics, Down to 1

Recommended Posts

Now since I have the time recovering from my revision rhinoplasty, I like to give summary of all the other clinics/hospitals that Ive been to for my consultation.

Because of previous trauma cause by my last doctor Dr. Kuladeva Ratnam ( he has his own clinic known as Kayshaa Plastic Surgery and since then has changed the name to ARC medical group. He is also a visiting doctor at Pantai, Assunta hospital.

After going to all the clinics here in South Korea it is confirmed that Kula has definitely ****ed up my columela. How he did it is still a wonder to all the doctors here. He created a scar on a vertical line of my columela on top of the bottom of my columela too! My guessing is that he had put the biggest silicone he could find in his cheap clinic for my nose at that point of time. He was irresponsible in treating my scar and has not even bothered to answer some of the questions regarding the procedure for me to give those info to the doctors here.

So before deciding to get to the hospitals/clinics, I have done my research on here, KK talk and their own websites.

1) UVOM Plastic surgery

The consultation was thorough. almost 2 hours or more. First with the consultant and then with the doctor. Both doctor and consultant do not speak English so they have a translator there that helped me since the online consultation and during the face to face consultation.

They took my pic and the scan my bones.

They did not suggested rib or donor rib but did suggested alar however it is up to me if I want to do it or not. They did suggested PCL a material they said commonly used for heart surgery for a better result. However, again it is my choice whether I want it or not.

I told the doctor exactly the type of nose I want, and he noded and explain how he was going to do it step by step. Which was very thorough. I like it. However , I was a bit in doubt if he could really do the nose that I like or he was just saying yes so he could get out of the room after my long list of questions.

There was no charges for consultation. It is a small clinic and I did saw few locals there.

Overall: good experience during consultation. The translator is nice and kind. My only hesitant was the PCL that was recommended, doc and consultant don’t speak English and when I called the translator to pick my final 3 and asked about allergy test, she sort of giggle (but please know shes just the translator) to my question and told me that I would not need and she gave her reason. ( have several antibiotic allergies and wanted to make sure)

2) Jin Hong Ryul (Dr.Jin’s premium Nose Clinic)

Had an online consultation via whatsapp and was informed that there will be a fee of 20 KRW. I asked if that includes CT scan, he confirmed yes. There was 2 purseforum fake members that glorifies this doctor but I knew when I read their posts.

The reception wasn’t able to speak in English. I was led straight to Dr. Jin’s room. As I was about to speak he shut me and said that there were 2 visiting doctors that would like to participate during the consultations and he asked if I would be okay with that. I said yea (thinking there would be an incentive from this, perhaps free consultation).

So my consultation started like a normal ENT doctor would. He was good as an ENT but he was just too cocky. His English was good. He didn’t show any before after until I asked him and later he showed me whats on the website. I showed him a b& a that I didn’t like and he said for that nose he has tried his best. He recommended septum and ear cartilage for my revision and said he cant get me the nose that I want too. Fair enough.

I went out of his room, thinking it would proceed with a CT scan but no I was asked to pay 45KRW for consultation fee and I asked wasn’t it 20KRW with a CT scan? The reception went to the Dr. and came back and said its 20 KRW then. But I proceed to ask what happened to the CT scan. She went back to the room again and later I was called to see the doctor.

The doctor explained that consultation fee for foreigner is 45KRW and since I was already quoted KRW20 he would just let it be but when I asked about the CT scan, he said he doesn’t have one and have to get the radiologist to do it upstairs and it would be KRW150. I laughed my nose out. He said if I decided there and then that I would open my nose to him, he MIGHT consider to waive the CT scan fee. Further he explained that the guy I was chatting with was just an introducer and he said that guy doenst know anything. What good way of not talking responsibility? That guy’s number is on his official IG.

I went out to pay reluctantly, I gave the lady a 50 KRW note and she wanted to return only 5KRW and I showed her a face and she nodded pretending she could not understand me, she took my bag and gave to me. This is time I made it clear to her, give my 30 KRW back! She nodded and quickly handed the money. What little ****.

p/s no pictures were taken too.

Overall experience : Negative. He is better off just as a normal ENT. I like the consultation he gave on my nose/sinus problem. . I wont trust him with aesthetic. He may have done more research but if its just on paper, should have just beautify the pages on his thesis. ( i have a feeling after this review, he would be more humble)

3) Namu

Was recommended on Purseforum. Linda whom I thought was the consultant was actually a translator. The doctor and consultant there cannot speak English and Linda was there to translate. Linda was a very gentle friendly lady. Never pushy. Explained to the doctor what I want my nose to look like, and he needs ear, septum and also donor rib for my case. I was trying to avoid rib altogether. He also suggested alar reduction. I was asking him if it is achievable without rib, he said he really do need rib to get the result desired and also explained that he cant get the nose that I want and explained. He said looking from my nose he knew I would have very less septal cartilage.

The price quoted by Namu are among the most reasonable and Linda is happy to throw in some goodies along the package as well.

Overall experience : Positive but I didn’t go with them because of rib suggestion.

4) View

I have actually crossed View on my list initially as one girl on PF has complained about their post case. However after someone else was going and I thought I may just give a try for an online consultation. Through the online consultation, I was informed that there will be no alar reduction and I was surprised why and really wanted to know more. Apparently my skin is too thick and that defining my tip would also shape my alar by a little bit. So I arrange a f2f consultation with Dr. Yoon. I met with Anna , English consultant at View. She is a sweet heart. We talked for ages. And im so glad she could speak English and don’t have to rely on a translator. She suggested Dr.Yoon to be, had the consultation with Dr. Yoon and was informed that I don’t need alar reduction and only septum and ear cartilage would be needed. Dr. Yoons idea of beauty matches mine. I want something very natural and his goal is the same. He said his job is to beautify my current nose not someone elses nose. Btw, he speaks English but it will take sometime for you to understand his thick Korean accent. He was patient enough to answer my questions. He didn’t show that he was agitated or whatsoever like other doctor would when they were running out of time.

I was quoted a higher price than the online consultation, I negotiated but Anna asked me to fish around and come back again if I really like View I could negotiate the price again. Anna wasn’t at all pushy and said she understand if I needed to go around other clinics for comparison.

Overall experience: Great. Consultant and doctor speak English. This is the only that did not recommend alar reduction. Happy with just septum and ear cartilage.

5) Hanabi

I love their B& A and hence I went there plus I needed my function problem to be solved too. The guy that I have been in touch via online doesn’t really work in the clinic. He is just the marketing guy for Hanabi. When I got there I saw 1 local there and quickly asked about this clinic. She said her cousin did her nose here and she liked it.

The consultant doesn’t speak English. There is a translator. Doctor speak English well. To get the CT Scan done will only cost you 10KRW. After I got the CT done, I went to the doctor’s room. I asked about my breathing problem. He said looking at the scan,I don’t have polyps and it seems like I have good breathing. He did made comment on my past sinus surgery that had now cause some complication he said. He uses terms that I don’t understand and for that I asked many questions. He doesn’t seem keen to explain. Though he looks calm but he wasn’t really patient in explaining in general. He recommended alar reduction and ear/septum cartilage. I believe he is the only doctor that kept his distance from me and didn’t even touch my nose. However he has an idea of the nose that I like I guess its similar to all the before and after he has i.e. natural line with columela to appear from the side. That must have been his expertise.

Price quoted is higher than the original quoted online and they don’t provide guarantee surgery in case you aren’t happy with the result. Hard to reduce the price.

Overall experience: positive. It would be better if the they have the guy who works marketing them be in the clinic for communication purposes.

6) GNG

They quoted a cheaper price via phone. So I decided to went ahead and see how they are. Pretty huge. Just like View they have the whole building for themselves. I was greeted by Linda the translator. Both consultant and doctor don’t speak English. I like the consultation with the doctor. He is an ENT and he said something that was very useful for my breathing problem. I got a ct scan and pic taken. However from the discussion they are dead firm with donor rib on top of septum and ear. He said he needs to cover up/fill the area between my bridge and my tip too so that it wont look as if ive only done my tip (I wish he is wrong on this cause none of the other doctor said anything on this).

Overall experience: Positive. Everything was very quick. I actually did like the doctor but the rib suggestion turn me off. The price also sky rocketed during the face to face from the online consultation. Something about the consultant and the translator made me feel that they are not genuine. But again the doctor was fine to me.

7) Cinderella

Got an online consultation with them with an ok quote. When there, I saw many locals. It is a cute and pretty clinic I would say. Was a bit hard to get an appointment here. Once missed a slot you gotta wait for next available days. The translator that attended me was so nice. The consultant and the doctor doesn’t speak English but I feel like the translator manage to grasp all that I wanted and it went smoothly. There was no scan or pictures taken there. Doctor fully utilise the time spent with him to look at my face and pinch here and there. He suggested donor rib but said most likely he doesn’t need to. He did suggested alar. I like the doctor but at this point I have already started to compare Cindy with my the one top on my list where the doctor speak English. They do allergy test when I asked.

Overall experience: Positive. Price quoted is within the range of other clinics (not as many would claimed them as expensive)

8) TS

My local friend recommended this clinic. I looked at the site and tried to make an appointment. It took 2 days before they replied and said theres no available slot. I sort of beg and beg and finally got a slot because that day was raining and I think few people have cancelled their appointment. So I got in! Walked in there, the clinic is definitely catered for locals. Even the forms are in Korean. One of the reception speak very little English but understandable so she helped the whole process. Took CT and pictures. Consultant didn’t speak English but the doctor do. He speak fluent English and was very nice too. He sort of understand what kind of nose I need ( he addressed that he cant fix my scar on the same time but I would need to revise it after). Tbh, my fault…I wasn’t really that serious when I came here but after hearing the doc explanation and after hearing the price quoted…I felt **** that I didn’t see them earlier.

Overall experience:Positive. Doctor speak English well. He suggested alar and he explained how he was going to do it to address my concern. He showed my before and after pic similar to my nose. Price quoted very good to be honest! I was tempted.

****
In the end I chose View because I wasn’t able to go to the other clinics due to their recommendation and ideas. Almost all suggested rib. All except for View did not suggested alar reduction. Dr.Yoon saw what other doctor didn’t my thick skin, small nostril that would take a lot of risk to reduce my alar. On top of that Dr. Yoon saw that my upper mouth was protruding and that will effect the new look of my nose so he sort of gave me a certain expectation. TBH, I wasn’t that keen with View because of what I read on their post care. However, I thought their online consultation was good and just thought I should give it a try. I really like Dr. Yoon since the first time I met him and ofcourse Anna! She was like a friend and very chatty beyond sales chatty!

Well, I shall update on the result and the post care on this tread and lets just see if Ive made the right or wrong decision.

Peace

Monday
My surgery scheduled at 10am but i was asked to be there at 9am. Did a last minute CT scan as I had some ENT concern that I needed to show Dr. Yoon. I was led to my recovery room. asked to changed. It was Jessica who assisted this. She is as cold as ice. I would be much comfortable if a robot has led me through out. She is not a consultant. she works at the reception but her English is good and for that I think she was asked to assist me that day.
She brought me to the consultation room and said its time to make payment. She took my card and (this is one part that I didnt like), she said she will make the payment on behalf of me. When I asked why cant i go with her, she said its best that way as I am in my surgery gown. She got it done and It looks as if she signed on behalf of me too. The calculation is right but I felt it was a bit dodgy that I wasnt there when the payment transacted for me to authorize it.

Anna my consultant came in and together we went and see the doctor. Had a brief chat about the CT. and I was ready for my surgery. Brought to the other floor by Jessica. The surgery theater looks big. Nurses were ready and then the anesthetist. The gave me a shot my GA and few seconds later...i collapsed- not remembering anything.

Jessica woke me up to assist me back to my recovery room. oh boy shes harsh. Dont like her at all. I cant help myself but to sleep. but she kept on telling me to wake up. which is fine. I was dying for water. I kept rinsing my mouth with water in the bathroom. That might had made me woke up. They didnt want me to drink water. But i feel like the tube that was for GA went so hard and forceful down my throat, that it felt so bad plus the dryness was just killing me. I was pretty much begging to drink. Anna came to visit for awhile and she was gone after a couple of minutes.

After a while though, i was wide awake (this wasnt supposed to be this way), very hyper too. I was already texting Anna and told her i need water. She said she will send Jessica to assist. Lol...Jessica never arrived. So i walked myself to get the water outside. I did that a couple of times.
Jessica arrived finally with her ice face and brought me the bag with gauze, mask, and prescription. I asked her if I was going to see the doctor as how i understood it should be, she said no. that made me pissed! I told her i have questions and she said well just keep the questions until i get there on the 3rd day. I told her that she said I could see him earlier, now what has changed? she said now, he is busy and got no time. I was so pissed. To be honest, i didnt really have to see the doctor but when I heard all this from her I felt it is my right to see the doctor and her 20 year old cold pack face has no right to say that to me.
I looked at the paperbag and asked wheres the pumpkin juice (Anna said there will be pumpkin juice) , she said i dont need it cause i did only rhino and for that it wont give any result anyway...and she said if i want to i could buy at the pharmacy. she explained the dos and donts and after that asked me to get dressed to go. (this was a mistake! which i only knew later).

Tam (a girl who did Vline at View) was there when Jessica was explaining her military way of things, she too was surprised i wasnt resting so we went together to get the medcines at the pharmacy. Its at B1 but we had to cross outside so it was humid. I was already feeling **** at that moment. It was so stuffy but I ignored the feelings. It took so long at the pharmacy to get the meds. I was texting Anna and told her that I didnt get the pumpkin and didnt get to see doctor. She was confused and asked me to wait and she will get things fixed. She said there was a miscommunication.

Finally when we have the medcines, both me and Tam was already exhausted. I guess Tam was worst. She couldnt make it to the elevator. So she sat on the floor and asked me to get water for her from upstairs... I took the elevator and saw Jessica outside the elevator and i signal her to help Tam instead.

I too was already dizzy and just dehydrated. I went and get water and saw Anna at the lobby and she handed over me a bag with pumpkin juice in it and said there was a miscommunication. I told her about Tam as i was worried. Stacy (tam's consultant came down) and we all went up to the recovery room and View offered an IV drip for Tam. Tam actually didnt have any food but was just taking jello and her medicines. (thats bad)

I went down to the lobby and Jessica assisted with the cab but since it was rush hour, i had to wait. I asked Jessica a question and I observe her way and saw she was laughing with her colleague soon after she thought i wasnt looking. Maybe i was sensitive but hey I was the one who just got a surgery done. I was almost collapsing...she care **** even when she saw i really needed to go flat down.

Anna came down and saw me and was surprised that i was still down there. She said I should go up to the recovery room as it is better since the taxi is taking forever anyway. So i went up with her and wanted to sleep. They told me not to sleep its better. But the doctor came a while after and i think sort of gave them the green light that i could sleep. It felt so good (So this was the actual sleep that I should have gotten if that flat ice face didnt screw up- apparently shes new, apparently her Korean sucks hence she misunderstood things??? )

Anyway, Anna felt bad about the whole situation and has offered me and Tam a ride back home. We arrived safely.
Sleeping that night with cotton balls stuck in my nose was horrible (and here i thought i could endure lipo and bbl at the same time...)

I am better now, thanks. i was hit with little fever. the weather sucks here atm. to be very blunt i knew about the after care here. but i didnt sign up at view for the after care. I signed with them because of Dr.Yoon (plan on my revision) and overall communication. (for me that comes first).

So long they put safety above all, im happy. I wasnt happy with the discharge part and the part where i wanted to see the doc but wasnt allowed. However I was informed that was due to miscommunication. And i sure hope so thats the case.

Im waiting for the bandage to be removed so i could take pictures and be glad. xx

Tuesday
Didnt have sleep at all last night. I was breathing through my mouth and woke up for water every 15 minutes. It was madness. I dont want to do this again. It is crazy. My nose bleed a bit. Had oat for breakfast/lunch/dinner.
I got some time to think about what happened yesterday.
First thing was the happy thing! I forgot to mention that immediately after i woke up, I did two things. Asked Jessica for the time. LOL-I dont know why i did that. Second touched my ears! Haha. Again I dont know why i did that and how my brain could work right after GA.

Now, If you have been reading about my numerous consultations, i dont want to use any kind of ribs. No donor and certainly not my own rib either. I also do not want any implant. So i am left with septal and ear. With many doctors that Ive had consultation with, many of them said my septum will not be enough and for my kind of nose, ear wont be enough either. So rib is the answer. I was so against it. Dr. Yoon said he will only use septum and ear (and he was quiet positive that it would be enough). This is one of the reason why ive chosen Dr.Yoon.

When i woke up from my surgery, i touched my ear and asked Jessica why didnt doctor used my ear. LOL. Again, i dont know how on earth i could think that much right after GA. Jessica said doctor didnt need to, my septum is enough! I was so bloody happy and I think this was the reason that made me so overly hyper after GA.

So looking in the mirror today, i cant see the bottom scar anymore on my columela. I was like!!! WHAT!!! GONE???!!! And the scar vertical scar still there but could hardly be seen because the Dr.Yoon did a magic trick with lengthening my columela. I mean how did he do it? I had pretty much no columela before. it was just nostril and now i have one and its amazing!!!! I seriously need to ask him on how he did this!

Now the part that i wasnt happy. I wasnt happy that i was discharged prematurely initially. I didnt know the procedure and just followed whatever Jessica has said. This is very important after surgery. Yes, i was hyper but i have not gotten my sleep/rest after surgery yet. How can i be discharged? She didnt ask if i was okay to leave, but simply asked me to get dressed and go. I wasnt happy that i wasnt allowed to see the doctor and her reason wasnt good at all. I didnt think she is happy working with people and I dont think so shes pleasant at all for this kind of business. There are things that she said which she shouldnt have as she wouldnt have such knowledge in the first place.

I texted Anna and told her about all this and she kindly accepted it, apologised and explained briefly that there was a miscommunication. She suggested that I should get my cotton removed tomorrow and that we could talk further on the matter. Oh that was a relieved-just by reading her text. Cotton out-thats better than 100000 x orgasm.

My nose swell bad. I see that it is so big and about to explode. i seriously couldnt tell if i like it yet but I really really want to love.

P/s -whatever written at this moment are not my final reviews of View. FYI, I am not in SK for a post care treatment I am in SK to do revision of my nose and Ive chose Dr.Yoon from View to do the job. My final review shall be what the outcome is not the post care.

I also went to View for rhinoplasty, but under Dr. Lee! I'm glad you mentioned being super dehydrated, because after my surgery I felt the worst dry feeling in my mouth ever! I think I drank eleven of those little cups and was still dehydrated, and then I'd wake up and feel that dryness in my throat again. Since I got breast augmentation as well I got an overnight stay, but I can't imagine how it would feel to have to leave early.
My nose also kept bleeding for around three days... I think I used up all the paper towels I had in my apartment. The cotton in my nose was so difficult to deal with because I could only breathe through my mouth, so taking the pills was so difficult for me.
My consultant was Jessica and she was actually so nice to me, so it makes me sad that she was so different this time around. I kept badgering her with questions about herself and she actually was very open about it, and her English was so good that translating with any doctor was no issue at all. I think she's so pretty too haha I wish I looked like her. Maybe you guys just got off on the wrong foot?
I don't know where you're staying, but I stayed at an airBNB and it helped so much, because I got to cook food for myself. Eating out everyday gets super boring and it's really difficult when the menu is in Korean and Google translate doesn't even work.
Also LOL at Laura Lee randomly attacking you in the comments section xD I love your response.

Hey, When did you had your surgery done?

Did you like it? I can’t wait for the swelling to go down and I don’t know if the laser light is working at all over the bandage?

I think we are referring to the different Jessica. Jessica that I am talking about is a young receptionist who has just joined View. She’s not a consultant but she does speak good English and for that reason she was asked to step in to translate when the consultant is not available to do so.

I have a feeling that every clinic will have a template English names. When your Jessica has left there recycled the name? This happened to Henry their online consultant. Apparently he is new but someone on Kk talk said she has been in touch with Henry for months.

Ya that Laura is defo a troll with no genuine interest here.

I'm not sure what happened but Jessica has always been welcoming me with a smile and whenever we had a little chat she was very sweet and fun to talk to. The aftercare of view was really great but I had to stay for 3 days at their infirmary and they allowed me to stay another 4 days in their hotel room in the same building. I think a lot of clinics in Seoul don't require you to be hospitalized just for rhino but like you said maybe there was some miscommunication.

i didnt ask to stay a night. the problem was that I was discharged prematurely i.e. before I was supposed to. I didnt have any sleep after i woke up from my GA. When I was brought back to the recovery room, i closed my eyes and I could see alot of lights of many colours. That shows that I was still high from the GA. I dont know which Jessica but the experience with me was completely off.

Wednesday

The weather in here has been terrible. Since last night and today, I think I have caught a little fever. I had just wanted to sleep and wasnt really up to even remove the cotton balls from my nose but I got up anyway. I could hardly speak.
Went to View was welcomed by Anna. It was a delight to see her. I knew she felt bad and I knew she wanted to explain things. So that day, Jessica wasnt there at all and Anna was the one who assisted me through out.
So i got the cotton balls removed first! OMG it felt so good. I want to do it again and again.

After that I had my first laser/red light dis well treatment. I really want to make use of this as I want the swelling to fade off asap!
Then later doctor came and see me and sort of assured things are alright. I asked about the ear and doctor explained that I have enough septum. I honestly wanted to go through which part of the nose he had put the cartilage but I just didnt have the energy anymore. but to just gladly thanked him for not taking my ear . He also explained that he had moved my scar inside my nose. Thats amazing. i couldnt thank him enough for this. while other doctor has said they couldnt do it in the same procedure, Dr. Yoon's magic hands did the wonder! I dont know how he did with the other scar, it is definitely less obvious too. I thanked him and thanked him (ofcourse I still need to see the final result before I could cuddle him and praise him loudly-haha! lets just hope for the best)

In between all that, Anna gently again apologized for what had happened. She said she has checked at all points and concluded that there was a miscommunication. Apparently Jessica is not fluent in Korean as much as she is in English. She has got one word mixed up and hence the mistake. Anna also has apologised and took responsibility by saying she should have been there. I really respect this from her. (coming from a business person myself, I understand and well aware of how the hospital could be busy and having only few English speakers there, she must have prioritized something else and Jessica was asked to assist instead. For me it didnt really matter. I dont really need a 24/7 baby sitter. Fully understood if they were busy but it is just **** that I had to experience the mistake...
Overall, I am satisfied at how Anna has communicated the matter to me. I knew Anna is a genuine person right after my first consultation with her. She was also the reason why Ive chosen View. She is the only consultant that could speak English among all the other clinics ive visited. For me this is very important to be able to connect with the consultant. Also, i was able to make conversation with her beyond the normal sales pitch and Im happy for that.

I wasnt expecting it but Anna has offered a free ride back home that day. I was okay with taking a KK cab but she has booked it for me, hassle free.

Went back to my room, the fever was getting worst. I feel i should just sink myself in ice !

forgot to mention how big my nose look yesterday. It is sooooo huge. and since i can only see the tip (while the bridge is covered up i can only see my tip and pretty overwhelmed by how huge it is)-Im getting use to it but just urghh tooo big and Im scared of the size. it looks like as if its going to explode!
Thursday
My nose is still huge. but my fever has gone down. Dont really have the mood to go out and do stuffs. Its hot outside and im still weak from the surgery.
Did a little bit of chat with the girls ok KK talk and found out that the girls from TS and MVP are all getting their red light the very next day of the surgery and they were told to come everyday. The girl at TS is also getting some injection to diswell..(urgh...maybe her swelling really badly). And i was curious as to why me and Tam are not getting it done the day after the surgery. Ours started when the cotton were removed. Tam told me that Jessica informed her that it is only best to do it after bandage is removed i.e. 7 days after the surgery! I had thought that couldnt be right. I remember Anna told me that View will do the red light for as many as i need and whatever needed also will be provided. I could have sworn she said it is within the 7 days.
I asked Anna about this and she said we could do it today if we want to and it is unlimited. If that is the case i wonder why we were not informed about this instead my red light was actually schedule on next monday.
So me and Tam went there to get our red light done. Stacy assisted the whole process. I also needed my nose checked as it was blocked. Went to the nurse and she checked it and it was all fine and she cleansed the area and put the antibiotic cream on it. But still i feel some blocking and thought it could be just from my mild fever yesterday.
The red light was quick about 15 minutes and Im really hoping that it works under the bandage.
Stacy helped us to order a taxi to Coex mall and she waited with us outside though it was hot !-that was nice of her.

Friday
Woke up at 3.30 am, could not sleep. still dehydrated though ive drank like gallons of water. Ntflix a bit and thought i should just start the day early and take my breakfast and medcines. I did that and i fell asleep after. Missed my 10.30 am red light appointment. I woke up and ask Stacy if i could get a new one and she asked to come at 3pm.
I also wanted to check with my nose , i kindda slipped the cold pack from my forehead down to my tip! and it hurt so badly. I dont know why but I also have been feeling as if a bone stuck on my columelar. ( now that i finally have one!! and it feels weird whenever i tilt my head to one side and the other. It feels heavy at the bridge too.

Got there at 3pm. Jessica assisted to the red light. Got that done. and i told her about my nose block and she brought me to the nurse again. The same nurse like yesterday. she was so helpful! She really tried to find whatever that was blocking. and it was so gross. it was my blood clot plus all the yucky bit and she took it out professionally! and i could breath so easy after.

i feel much better today and decided to take the subway back and I did. no one stare and it was so much easier as I stay just 4 stations away from View.

My nose looks alot smaller today. maybe it was the red light, maybe it was the pumpkin juice maybe its the pineapple vinegar that i just bought but i really do like looking at the progress. and im hoping to see the best when the bandage is removed!
My new Korean friend and I went and get dessert and i think we may had too much jokes, i laughed so hard that it hurts to badly. as if my columelar was breaking.

Anyway at night, before heading to bed...i was focusing on my breathing and it feels soooooo good to finally have cool air into my nose (which Ive not gotten since maybe forever).Im really hoping that this will be one of the permanent result.

Saturday

Pretty much did nothing today. and a bit nervous with my stitch removal next week. bandage off too. tbh i dont know why i would still have this bandage on...its falling off anyway with the amount of oil on my face. yuck. im pretty impressed with my skin (or could it be the antibiotic), it has been behaving really well with little to no maintenance at all.

My nose has gone smaller alot. i now can see the tip going down as the alar are not too stretch anymore. so there is the shape of the alar. now im begining to wonder if i should have just done the alar reduction?? could it be invasive if i were to do it in the future? as it will not be open from the outside?
also, i could see that the columelar is not lengthened as to what i had wished for, could it be that it is not settled yet? or did doctor had limitation on this? (as he did mentioned something about this before). i also wanted the tip be have more length but i think this one i have to wait till it settled as now it is still swelling though my progress of healing is actually good. lets give this another week.
i still feel sharp pain when i tilt my head to the left. and gosh how i wish i could pick my nose now...grrr
