amali9099 Posted September 9, 2018 Posted September 9, 2018 Wow, I think you are gorgeous. Your bone structure makes you look like an actual model. Models tend to look a bit older when they are younger but in the end, the structure helps them age better too. I would be wary of getting your cheeks shaved down as your face will sag more for sure. That being said, the undereye circles could be genetic or due to volume loss after the weight loss. Maybe fillers or fat transfer there and in the undereyes? Maybe a rhinoplasty too if you can find someone who can do something that doesn't ruin the uniqueness of you and your nose while fixing the parts you dislike. (I bring up the nose carefully because.... your nose reminds me of Jennifer Grey's whose nose job removed her uniqueness and therefore ended her career. If you are going to do the nose, look hard at simulation images and really research what you want or don't want). Your jaw looks fine and if anything, your jaw line will look better once you lower your body fat. You aren't fat weight wise but the pictures might suggest higher body fat. Your weight can stay the same but putting on more muscle, while lessening fat might be better for jawline sculpting purposes. Once you get to a sustainable state (no yoyo weighting), you can then consider fat transfer for the unfortunate parts like the undereye and nasolabial folds. Exercise and toning might help you look brighter. Sounds dumb but I look less dead when I am working out because I am drinking so much water/cycling it through my body by running, and sweating. The side effects of being tighter and more toned help my face too. Linke to Jennifer Grey before and after (or search "Jennifer Grey rhinoplasty"):https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch&sa=1&ei=z4eUW4nmMdHm9APRrqOoDg&q=jennifer+grey+rhinoplasty&oq=jennifer+grey+rhinoplasty&gs_l=img.3...35762.39185..39305...1.0..0.59.617.14......0....1..gws-wiz-img.......0j0i8i30j0i30j0i24.laOuhQCSNbA#imgrc=zv9UAhWQ-xp1dM: At the end of the day, I really hope you find a doctor that doesn't choose to prey on insecurities and helps you come to the best aesthetic decision possible without overselling.
fortunecat Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 To me, i think you look great. We are always our own worst critic. Personally, i do not think you need any job done at all. If i were to find fault on my face, there will be tons of stuff for me to fix. Maybe, we should start thinking and asking ourselves if plastic surgery a "want" or a "need"? I am still asking this question myself if i really need a liposuction. Hmm...
incessantlyxchic Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 OMG OMG OMG PLEASE DON'T TOUCH YOUR FACE! you'll BEAT YOURSELF UP later in life when everyone wants to look like the "old you" ... your face will change you're still young .... you're drop dead gorgeous -> something you have someone else is praying for .... i used to OBSESS about my looks but please just enjoy your life ESPECIALLY b/c you are hella pretty ... trust me I used to want to change a ton of things and now i'm SO glad i didn't. had i, i would have cried myself to sleep every night now!!

locococoa Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 @Amali9099 Tbh I've grown to accept the structure of my face, even my nose (though if it droops more I'm rhinoing it, lol) --it's just the contours aren't good. Under a lot of lighting I look aged, zygoma looks rugged/sunken, and my eyes really hollow--there's even a ton of blue veins. People have guessed me to be a lot older, they weren't doing it to hurt me. And no one has ever said I have a gorgeous face or even anything nice about my looks--or just insults. On the upside I've always been complimented on everything else, never insulted. @Fortunecat Belly liposuction? I'd say that's a bit more of a want...though I'm saying that as someone who's confident no one will ever see her belly or stretch marks, so they don't impact my confidence at all. @incessantlyXchic @bisousx The vast majority of the bad feedback came from strangers...women and men--men were the ones that screamed I was ugly, complete strangers, though, pretty shocking experience. It was something entirely different than "cattiness." It's fine, just a fact of life, but I mainly just want the right contours. Nice, round cheeks to balance out the forehead/jaw, and a smooth eye area. Then I'd like what I see. I've more or less accepted I'll never be seen as attractive though I'd like to be able to look a bit cuter. Pretty simple want. It's not dramatic. Also, Xchic, why you here? You seem very against PS.
bisousx Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I’m not sure why several posts dating back to OP’s other profile and thread were deleted without warning.
locococoa Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 I think the mods found it very invasive and a breach of privacy; matters have changed between then and now and I already got what I needed here. You might think it's ethical, but it really is not, and disrails the thread.
incessantlyxchic Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 oops! not sure I guess I wandered across here from another thread by accident. I guess I was feeling empathy or sorrow? not sure of what kind of mood I am in today! sorry if I bothered you. it's your face and your life and I didn't (dumbly) realize this was a PS thread. I wish you the best of luck on your goals re: your face and you're really pretty so things can only go up from here :*
fortunecat Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 A lot of things that we thought we needed it to be fixed are "needs". But to others, they are "wants". Will not doing liposuction affect me? Of course not. Will not doing the distribution of fats in the face affect you in terms of bodily functions? Of course not. But if a person has "bite" problems, then yes, surgery will help to alleviate the problem. I can see that you are young and you don't really need a plastic surgery. You will get even more depressed if your surgery is botched. If my liposuction procedure is botched, thats ok because i can hide with clothes. But if your face is "botched", then it will be pretty depressing. You are already pretty. So, please think carefully. If you really want to do something, you can try fractional laser for a start as it will help to plump up your face a bit. I did that and it works. Next time when your friend commented that you look old, tell them that you are going to get a plastic surgery to fix it and see what they say. I would say most of them will disapprove of your decision.
fortunecat Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Nah. Despite this being a PS thread, i think it helps if there is another kind of "voice" to make people think if they really need to have plastic surgery. There are successful cases as well as botched cases. Most people do not think that they will be that "unlucky". But once that happens, its devastating. I rarely commented that i am against PS for the forumners here though. But TS is someone whom i feel that PS is unnecessary for her.
amali9099 Posted September 12, 2018 Posted September 12, 2018 Honestly, I am soo glad you said you are okay with your face, contours, and nose. You are absolutely gorgeous and the nose gives you a je ne sais quoi that separates you from cookie cutter beauty. Hollower looking eyes could be the result of your very high cheekbones (which are just.... holy **** awesome). If there is blue/sunken hollows that bother you, you might consider like half a syringe of gentle filler under each eye (doesn't look like you even need that) or maybe some makeup. Honestly, though, you don't look old or older at all. Not to me. At the risk of sounding like an auntie, you look like a fresh faced young girl. I saw you mentioned lipo. Zeltiq cool sculpting is way less invasive and is supposedly used for decent results. Last, who the hell are these strangers and trolls that have called you ugly? If it makes you feel any better, there are entire subreddits for "rating people's looks" and I have seen perfectly good looking people get jeers and ratings like 2/10 when all someone really needed was a better haircut and flattering lighting. Trolls are everywhere. People get jealous and few things inspire as much jealousy/frustration as a beautiful young girl.
locococoa Posted September 12, 2018 Author Posted September 12, 2018 Wait, I clarified that I'm not okay with my contours/fat distribution (or lack thereof). I probably would't have paid attention to it at all if not for a) my poor physical health and b) 100% of irl input on my looks in my 24 years being negative (at least this mainly came from strangers). I'm not even sure why people felt compelled to say that stuff to me...like, I've never been insulted for anything else aside from my speech impediment. Though yeah I'm pretty okay with my face otherwise. Just the nasolabial, cheek, and eye area just slaaaay me, along with the rugged/flaccid skin texture. The cheek area is just oddly shaped with seemingly more fat on the nasolabial/jowl area than above. I'm assuming it's from my weight loss. I think this one kinda captures some of the problem: This was 3 months back. Yeah, I had a lil worse skin, but...I am actually wearing concealer and foundation here, a ton on the undereyes. The area just looks very ragged and I'm not fully sure if it's the lack of fat, a skin problem, or what. And that's the last picture I'll post. Probably should have focused on that!
fortunecat Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 Hmm... I would actually suggest sleep at least 8 hours, drink at least 2 litres of water, consume vitamin C, remove makeup properly, moisturizing your face and not forgetting a healthy diet. Try to put on less makeup if your skin condition is bad. And also, sunblock lotion during the daytime. Try it for 3 months. If all fails, then its time to consider slightly more invasive treatment e.g. fractional laser. Honestly, i do not think you need any plastic surgery now.
amali9099 Posted September 13, 2018 Posted September 13, 2018 That is a really interesting picture. Have you considered posting it on realself (some people get up to 5-10 doctors who respond, some of whom are honest/ethical/knowledgeable enough not to over recommend ****)? I am far from an expert but it looks like either sagging/volume displacement or indents that can be filled. Either way, you might be able to find a mild form of laser or lifting or wee bit of fillers that can work for you because really, whatever you do, you don't need anything heavy handed or major.
