Hi everyone,

I have flat front cheekbones and am interested in getting cheek implants. I've been looking at clinics that offer the procedure such as View or TLPS. However, it's hard to find before/after pictures of that procedure or testimonials.
There seem to be lots of complications related to the procedure when I look at reviews on Realself, however it seems more like the doctors wern't specialists in the procedure. I've also considered fat grafting but since the issue is related to my bone structure

Could anyone share their experiences if you had this procedure done?

.All help is much appreciated

Interested in this as well. Asians typically have flat face which would benefit by adding more forward dimension and definition to it. If cheekbone implants were the answer I think we'd see many before/after pics which demonstrate the improvement, so I think the lack of finding such pics shows there's not a good solution for this now. Fat graft can add general volume but you can't get that defined model cheekbone look from it.

Does that work if you don't have enough bone structure?
My understanding that the reason that higher cheekboned people age slower is because there is structure that helps the face fat sag less.....

I hope someone continues this thread. There aren't enough pictures of successful cheek implants here.

Which is why I'm not getting cheek implants and need bone grafting to push my cheekbones back out. Cheek reduction does cause facial laxity no matter what. You lose the natural adhesion and lateral structure that the face looks fuller especially the jaw. Thnisbtype of surgery should be banned. I wish I could've tried Botox before doing something so stupid hat has caused so much distressed. I basically paid to have the surgeon aged me faster.

Wow. The bone grafting sounds really interesting. Given that PS usually tends to involve bone reduction and there are therefore few results to go by, where are you going to get this done and why? (.... I am dying to augment my submalar/orbital rim area because I just don"t have much volume there and curious to see what others are doing. I was thinking about Bryan Mendelson in Australia but he might be out of my price range (still trying to find out)....)

Yes they can take bone from your skull or illiac to augment to cheekbones. I had cheekbone reduction in the past which change my face not for the better. So now need back be to help repair what's been done. These surgeons can either change your life or destroy it

I'll probably consider that option as it seems less risky. Where did your friend get it done? How long did it last? I've heard it can dissolve itself fast

True words!

So where are you looking at for cheek augmentation? I was born with less cheekbones so I am interested in the procedure too.

I hope not but we will see. Heard he is pricy af for sure so I really need other options for good surgeons.
