20-year-old college student in a plastic surgeon in Apgujong-dong, Seoul, died of a brain surgery and was finally killed. This student dropped his blood pressure under anesthesia, and his heart stopped. How did the paramedics do the first thing they did in the operating room CCTV ? The bereaved families saw the medical staff sued the police.

(Died 3 weeks later in hospital. Complications with anesthesia due to congenital heart defect. Deepest condolences.)


What?? Nobody is sueing anybody. Family is understanding and bears no ill will towards Dr or clinic.
Only people getting sued are the news outlets propagating the fake news and whoever leaked the over 40 minutes of CCTV footage that was provided to the police in confidence.
And probably the next bugger who insists on dredging up this piece of garbage fake news and give it new life.

Translation here is so mangled I don't even know where to begin.
Firstly let us address the video footage that has been purposefully edited, with the same 2 seconds of footage repeated multiple times, in order to present a very different narrative than what really happened.
(Can confirm. Am scissors.)
- Doctor *BLEEP* was the one who noticed the lower than normal vitals and made the decision to abort. Not the anesthesiologist. Rhino procedure not even started. Patient presented with unstable vitals shortly after sedation. (L.A. + sleeping/twilight sedation. Standard textbook. Good call.)
- What looked like CPR was manipulated footage. Anesthesiologist was trying to wake patient while putting oxygen mask on patient's face. Watch the raw video + audio soon. Coming to a theatre near you... *wink*
- Hair-tying lady wasn't a nurse but someone coming in to help with prepping patient for transport.
- Nobody was joking or laughing. Doc just aborted Ops and was standing there looking stoically serious and everyone who's worked in an OT will know sh1t just hit the fan. Situation wasn't crazy tense but it wasn't comedy night either. Ppl were moving briskly and purposefully, doing what they were supposed to be doing.
- Whatever was written about interviews with clinic staff and the anesthesiologist is very likely BS as nobody was allowed to give interviews or talk to members of the press, under threat of law, as case was pending police and insurance investigation.
- ....I forgot what other point I was gonna make. Whatevs. Tired. *yawn* There's enough food for thought here to debunk this piece of sensationalized journalism.

The original thread was actually very useful as other pfers in the medical field contributed on how to check clinics, anesthesia doc and if the clinic is equipped enough for worst case scenario.

From the original thread and based on memory, it said the patient suffered cardiac arrest and the anesthesia doc asked the surgery to stop. He then administered an 1-hand cpr while one of the nurses laughed and the other fixed her hair. It took more than an hour before 911 arrived and the patient was transported to a hospital.
There was no defibrillator in the clinic.

It's real news but still under investigation.
That newly created account 1postwond3r denied the news but since she/he got banned , her/his post got deleted that was being referred to by jfanthom. You can still see the post quoted by doubledoubles.

I hope MVP issues some kind of official statement.
