madambutterfly89 Posted November 3, 2018 Posted November 3, 2018 Hi guys, I'm thinking of doing bone grafting to my cheekbones using a peice of small bone from illiac crest(hip). I need this due to overcorrevtion of cheekbone reduction. My question is, do illiac bone crest reasorb a lot over time? My surgeon says it does just a little bit but overtime the bone will fused together and stay there for life. I don't want make another mistake...I've been suicidal but don't want to give up hope. Any feedback good or bad will be greatly appreciated.
