rebzzz Posted November 16, 2018 Posted November 16, 2018 I have been wanting to do a double eyelid revision since my previous non-incisional has loosened over the years. I have been searching for clinic that is famous for locals instead of foreigners, and after searching online and recommendation from korean friend, i decided to go to Uvom Plastic Surgery and consult them. First impression: Simple and to the point. The kakao consultant is very helpful to list down what kind of possibility that might be suitable for my concern; which is loosened double eyelid and chubby cheeks. When i asked about the doctor, they have specialist for eyes surgery: Dr Kang Min Joo. I prefer doctor who is specialized in one procedure rather than they do everything altogether. Just my preferences. During consultation: I took my liberty of time to talk to the doctor, no rush, feel at ease to ask every questions on my mind. He told me that i need non incisional DES since my eyelid skin is not fat, ptosis to open my eyes bigger, and epicantoplasty because i have fat around the innercorner. He also suggest me to do aegyosal filler to get that cute eyes look For cheeks he suggest that i do acculift and threadlift. And he also did fat graft on my forehead for better volume. So i did my surgery after the consultation, i didn't eat for 6 hours so they said i can do the surgery straightaway! After the surgery: I was super swollen, i mean superrr. And bruised after the surgery. Swelling and bruising depends on each individual. For me i bruised a lot even until now, 2 weeks post op. But i have been loving the result of my eyes! You can see from the picture, it's nice and big just like what i wanted. For threadlift, i still have bruising and one dimple on my left cheek (doctor said it is normal and will go away as time goes on). I hope it is! Meanwhile, i will share with you my DES progress first

I was actually considering going to Uvom for rhinoplasty and was wondering if you could share some of your thoughts about the service you got at the clinic? I will be traveling alone and I don’t speak Korean, so I’m trying to do as much research as I can... did you feel like the English speaking staff was helpful and friendly ? Did you feel like the clinic, doctors and staff could be trusted? Any other information about your experience would be helpful too! I would really appreciate your response
rebzzz Posted November 17, 2018 Author Posted November 17, 2018 Hello kkmmii! I was travelling alone too. They have in-house translator, Su-Jin. She is very helpful and patient towards all my questions from beginning till the end. She even make sure that i go home safe after the surgery. Even until now, i still kakao her about my progress and she will help me to ask doctor about my concerns. Yeah i feel like the clinic is trustworthy, it is not like they don't care about you anymore after you did the surgery, like some of other clinics do LOL. Doctor will also see you after the surgery and follow-up deswelling treatment. It feels more personal that way. Goodluck for you surgery, anything i would be glad to share

I am going to Korea on January 10th and will be going to this clinic for eye fat repositioning to get rid of my eye bags. I am considering Acculift too but am not sure I will like th results. I will say -- this clinic is excellent with their customer service. I have never had such a response from the other clinics I've communicated with other than Wonjin. These people are like, an MBA case study on what to do for customers!

How long your first non incision des last before it loosen up? I'm also curious to how much you spent for the procedures
