  1. I agree with you. Having gone through the same things....I know what you mean.

  2. Having been to Korea myself and undergone PS there. It's a shady business...

Don't go by yourself and also ask the opinions of others. Don't let them trick you into invasive procedures you don't need, especially FC. This is your body and your life. You only have 1 life. Don't put yourself at risk unless you know you ABSOLUTELY cannot live with your current face/body. IF there's ANY doubts...go back and rethink it some more. Do more research. It cannot hurt to think things over and over again, because if you make a mistake, it will cost you more time, money and agony to have to go back to fix things and some things are IRREVERSIBLE. Plastic surgery is no joke. It's a lifelong commitment to any complications you may encounter.

REMEMBER: the consultants are NOT YOUR friends. They are sales people living on commission. Don't forget this.

ALSO: OVER-COMMUNICATE with your doctor. Make sure they can repeat back to you exactly what you want and have a clear understanding of every single detail. Do not leave things to chance. Surgeons are not mind readers and remember that Korean aesthetics are VERY different from Westerners. BE CAREFUL!

  3. Please believe me when I tell you, just avoid ALL FC surgeries. I wish someone had told me this before I went to Korea. Your bone structure upholds your soft tissues, skin and muscles. You need them to be a certain size to hold your face in place and prevent the tissues from drooping faster than they would through aging. There's too many risks...of things the doctors won't even tell you about. Its' such a shady business. I have spoken to many, many girls who regret FC surgeries, especially zygoma reduction. Once you cut the bone, it's gone. Your tissues will scar too and that's going to accelerate aging too because scarred tissues aren't as elastic and won't have the same collagen as before. I'm not anti-PS. I've done FC myself and am suffering the ramifications of it since day 1. My face will never be the same and I have to deal with the consequences on a daily basis. I'm too traumatized to fix things because I could make it worst. There's no going back once you do it. And, if you're trying to be conservative, then it wouldn't make sense to alter your face for a minor change anyways.

Tread carefully...I think all types of other surgeries, such as nose jobs, breast implants...those are manageable if they go wrong. You can redo. But, once the bone is gone from FC , it's gone forever. There's no turning back and there's a 50/50 likelihood you won't like the outcome. So don't take that risk unless you're deformed or ridiculously asymmetric. Don't make the mistakes I made. It literally ruined my life.

  4. I understand your pain so well. This is exactly what I've been going through for over a year. For all the girls out there, please be careful with zygoma reduction or any bone reduction surgery. It's not worth the risks. There's sagging, nerve damage, so much more they dont tell you. It doesn't just take 6 months to recover but YEARS. You have to be sure 100% you'll like the outcome because it's impossible to reverse.

  5. What kind of disgusting human being are you to tell a person who got botched to continue being ugly when they’re just trying to warn people to help them be more informed.

  6. I hope you get what’s coming to you. I wish you the best

  7. Because anyone who has sagging faces or is botched from fc is not that excited to put their faces on blast??? What do we have to gain by posting negative commentary warning people about sagging. We’re speaking from our personal experiences. Until it happens to your face, you won’t understand the pain. I’ve been a member on this forum long before this poster joined. I’m a real patient who encountered sagging despite with told I have good skin elasticity. You can choose not to believe.

  8. He said “IF” your skin stays the same as presurgery and now is such a giveaway that he’s just saying enough to cover himself from liability. That’s not really promising you much by saying “if”. The truth is, You can’t expect your skin to not drop or get loose after you remove bones that hold it up. It’s just physically not viable and anyone who understands the logic of gravity can tell you that. Your skin and muscles will shrink back to a certain extent but never to the firmness it was before surgery and that’s something everyone has to be mentally prepare for. I’m not saying it won’t be worth it for some to have a smaller face and some sagging but let’s make it known that doctors cannot say you won’t get sagging from fc no matter what your skin condition is. The doctor who says no sagging is straight up lying and should be crossed off your list. When the swelling goes away, you will notice the sag even if you don’t notice it right away. I’m here to warn other girls about it—don’t mean to hijack thread. Your results look good and I hope you’re healing well.

  9. Yes, i had the surgery done and I whole heartedly agree. It will sag and the sagging isn’t hard to understand. You won’t shrivel your..but your skin droops which will age you and make you more prone to wrinkles. Imagine wearing a size Large all your life... then losing a ton of weight, but still wearing a large t-shirt. How I’ll the shirt hang on your body? Apply the same concept to bone reduction.

  10. Btw, I’m providing advice based on my OPINION. It’s my recommendation based on my opinion. Seriously, you can have your thoughts and your opinion on what you find is helpful. I don’t care but I’m entitled to do the same. I’m not assaulting anyone. Sorry, not sorry if my advice or opinions offend you or isn’t helpful to you.

  11. I’m writing from a place of good faith. Everything you’re telling me my doctor said to me as well and I still got sagging. These surgeons have a monetary vested interest in telling you half truths. You’re early in the healing process... believe me, you will sag faster than if you hadn’t done the surgery and aged normally. But, it might not be noticeable or bothersome to you. It’s just fact. It’s honestly something everyone should know going into it. It may be worth it to many still. But, it’s a gamble and if you’re particular about your skin and aging, don’t do it.

  12. Advice IS opinion. Sagging does occur no matter what, skin elasticity helps but it will cause sagging and it’s unpredictable. Logically, it makes sense. You don’t need to be a doctor to know that it’s a trade off when you remove bone support, there’s excess skin. Whether it’s minimal or a lot depends on many factors but it’s a trade off, not just a risk. I’ve gone through the procedure and i know what I’m talking about. I’m here giving people my opinion and they can take it how they want but it’s a forum. I’m not assaulting anyone or being hostile?

  13. Don’t do zygoma reduction, it causes premature aging and sagging. Same with buccal fat removal. Hardly any difference for it to be worth it and you will need the fats for when you’re older.

  14. I know people say you have to replace implants every 10 years but that’s not necessarily true. If you don’t have complications, you can keep them forever.

  15. Nooo...it's NOT worth it. I thought the same as you. I promise you, you will get sagging and premature aging. If you would be okay with earlier aging but less cheekbone, then ok. But, you have to go in accepting that sagging is the tradeoff 100%

  16. Did you end up having the surgery ?
