  1. Hi Jinblob23, Did you complete your surgery. I have a very similar situation as yours, and am going for my 3rd as well. Who did you ended up with? Di you like it? Would you share your pictures? Thank you in advance.

  2. :yahoo:Congratulations!!!!
Now that your nose is taken care of you can focus all your energy to take care of the new comer. I think your B will be just fine. Don't let yourself stress about it. Just take your folic acid, and prenatal vitamins and your baby will just be fine. Happy Happy for you.

  3. Hi Bisousx,
Do you not liking your PI? Are you thinking of getting it out? Please tell me more. I remeber you said you were excited about the PI before the surgery. Besides it makes your smile look different, whatelse are you not comfortable about? What do you mean by you can feel it? When you touch your philtrum/alar base area? I honestly think you look good in your post op pics, but I don't have your pre-op pics to compare wtih.....
I'm going there next week to fix my nose, should I cancel the PI.......

  4. Hey Kain,
Did you get your wisdom teeth extract yet? Happy Birthday!!:Partyhat:
My question for you was deleted due to the database upgrade....The step I was referring to was after the genioplasty, the space behind the chin after it is moved forward. If the chin is moved alot, the surgeon would shave the step to smooth it out, but some don't do that and you can feel the step when you touch the your chin (source from smallface). So do you know your step is shaved or not? Do you feel there is a step there?

  5. Hi angelplane,
Thank you for posting your experience at VIP, especially about the price. I wasn't going to mention but as Jenstar11 stayed, I too was qouted $5000 more for revision, which is on top of the $9500 rib nose, and $1500 paranasal. I know price are something people not like to discuss, so it has been kinda hush hush. But I think it really should be flat price for everyone. I know someone who had a difficult revision case (mutilple previous surgeries) and only paid around $9000 total. I wonder if it is this forum makes VIP sorta famous so VIP just raise the price on people who came from reading the forum. Nevertheless, I really appreciate all the nice people who reply to my questions regarding their experience, Kain is always helpful, Bisousx is the sweestest. I won't name more...I do appreciated all of your help.

A side question: I would really like to see your experience at Smallface. I searched your previous posts and didn't see you have posted about them. If you already have and I missed it please let me know which page that is. If you haven't, would you mind telling me: how many days after your nose job that you operate on you mandible? Did you wish you waited longer, or it doesn't matter? Was it as pleasant experience. I saw that you said you like your smaller face so I assume you are happy with work done. How much was it? Do they speak English? I called a few times and got hung up on.
If you have a contact or consultation at smallface that you work with, please forward me the email/#'s. I would like to talk with them. Thanks again for your help.

  6. Bisousx, I think you are very pretty and yes you look a little mixed but there is nothing wrong with that, and that is the true American! There are lots of grown men that behave less mature than they should have been and have yet learned to respect others. Trust me, I know just too many of them. I'll just ignore them. You are a very nice person and you deserve to be treated nicely.

  7. Hi Jenstar11.
Thanks a lot for posting and sharing your experience. That really open my eyes on silicon. May I ask what material you had before the toriumi's rib? Did you use silicon before but didn't work? I have had silicon before but that moved to the side, also the shape kinda show thru the skin. I blamed the material and my body that rejected the foreign material instead of the Dr. But your post made me think that if the surgeon knows what he is doing, silicon could be a very good material to use. idk, I have rib harvested before and that did work either. I really would like to leave my torso alone instead of getting another scar.
    Thanks again for your help.

  8. Hi Jesse00,
Dr. Oh qoute was $8500 for revision rib rhino. I confirmed with his assistance that he would use all rib for revision case. I think some ppl mentioned before that he use silicon for the bridge, rib or ear for the tip but that is for primary. He did suggest other procedures for me to do due to my particular case and that adds up to a lot more.

I don't mean to scare anyone about the deformable rib paranasal. When i requested to have my paranasal done via rib, that's what he said. I don't know if he speaks from his experience or he just simply don't offer that option. I will have to do more research to verify if that is true.

  9. Hi Jenstar,
Would you please share which surgeon you ended up having a surgery with? I am considering other surgeons as well.
Dr. Lee at VIP is my first choice but there are a few issues/confusions that I have with them that I have yet sorted out. I won't jump into the conclusion until those issues are cleared. Then I might post those for other people for review.
Dr. Oh at O & Young, he would do my nose revision with all ribs. I really like the after pictures he did. But he would only do silicon for paranasal and said it would be deformable to use rib as paranasal implant. I'll have to verify that.
Your info would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

  10. Regarding have different surgeris at different places. I have a nose surgery appt with VIP and JoAnn offered me to stay for 14 days. But I also want to have genio done at smallface just because they are doing it everyday and are more of an expert to it. You think I could continue to stay at the officetel after my surgery at smallface without getting less quality of treatment? I know they really want you to doing everything at VIP tho'.
BTY, should I do the genio first or the nose first. Kain, maybe you would know the answer? Also how many slice did you have on you genio? One or two?

  11. Hi Angleplane,
I am sorry that you weren't treated nicely at VIP. But i am a little confused as to why they were not nice to you. You did your nose at VIP, they let you stay for 7 nights. Then you did your zygoma+mandible scan at VIP, but the actual procedure at smallface? So they kicked you out of officetel, and JoAnn and the staffs were not nice to you because they think it was a waste of money, and would not invite you for a show. Then you did you lipo with them at the end, then they are nice to you again and paid for some of your hotel expense? Is that the scenario? If that so, it is upsetting that they are definitely money driven over customer service.
Thanks for sharing your experience, I hope you feel better. And cheer up, when the swelling is gone you will be looking a lot better. :okay:

  12. Migookinamja,
You look good in the picture. If you aren't caucasian, you definately look like one after the surgery. :P Do you speak and read Korean?

  13. Ok, I got mine last week for July for $1270 from SFO and there are layover both ways each flight take about 17 hours.
I have to go this that week otherwise it would be cheaper at the end of Aug.

  14.
  15. I have seen a lot of do's and don'ts in the previous posts that help heal or deswell immediately after surgery, and I think it would be helpful to compile a list for the post op patients to read. This list does not guarantee result and some suggestions are just old wives tales. Feel free to add to the list and share what you know:

    DO after surgeries:
drink lots of water, pumpkin soup, soy milk, eat pineapple core, take arnica, walk, keep your incision away from the sun, sleep elevated, apply cold pack,

    DO NOT DO after surgeries:
eat seafood, beef, spicy food, wet your wound, exercise,

    anything else?

  16. Hi JuicyMe, Thanks for getting back with me. I am going July 19 for my nose revision at VIP. I was thinking while I am having my face all beaten up, I might as well get my eyes revised. lol. I am not korean, and I don't know the language. Iam american born chinese. So all my researches are limited to English. I called Teuim, they are just as expensive as Bando. I know, it is depressing. arhhh. Please send me the link that you've found, I could probably translate them in google. Thanks again for your help.

  17. Kayrider, I feel your frustrations. You are going to to Korea in the first week of July and your anxiety is probably up to the roof. But please understand people that are done with their surgeries probably have moved on with their lives and left this forum behind. People that are going to korea soon are just as lost as you are. I am going at the end of July and will be there right after you left, otherwise I would love to hook up with you. I am going alone, don't know the language and have not contacted anyone that are going, but I think you could probably meet many people there while consulting other clinics. Keep your mind open and you will be surprise. And if you are decided to have surgery there you should be well taken care of (if you've done your research on the clinic.) In general, I think Korea is a pretty safe country and people are pretty helpful (I was there for a few days 10 years ago) I wouldn't want to do that in Thailand. :P
As for asking the same questions. I have been with the forum since Jan 2010, and at that time there are only a few pages on this particular forum. I have read thru many posts since then but I still can't find some info I read before. The search function here is not the best around. :graucho: It'd be great if someone don't mine answering you, and if you are tired of it, just don't read them.
Take it easy, anxiety is not going to help your surgery. Have a great trip there.

  18. Hi JuicyMe,
10 grands for 2 revision is ridiculous, they are probably revising both at the same time. Did you get a consultation with Swan? I'am looking for double eyelid revision as well, and am going to consult with Teuimp. Would you share your researches and findings. Thanks

  19. HI Townstory,
I sent you an email and PM. Sorry I repeated it on you but I am not sure which one your are going to check. So just send it to both. I have scheduled my appointment with VIP in July and I need you advice. :sos:
    Thanks again

  20. migookinamja, thanks for the link. I should have clarify better that I need help searching within tpf. :P I would like to see other people here commenting their experience and result with O&Young. Thanks for your help.
I am curious that you said you just walking by there, so it is walking distance from VIP and Teuimp? Those are the one l am going to consult when i get there. Thanks

  21. Hi Rawdude,
Thanks for sharing all your experience with us here, I'm sure you are looking better and better each day.
Have you used the stemcell prp service? If you did, from where? If you haven't, could you share your research on it. I know it is suppose to regrow you skin cell and heal the scar tissue. Do you know or heard of if it works? Do you know whereelse offer prp? Sorry I have many questions, thanks for your patience.
