  1. Hi all,
would anyone please show me how to search for "O&YOUNG Clinic" I put that in the search and it came back with any O or Young, which are unrelated to O&Young. Or if you know someone had posted any info about them, please let me know their name I could search for his/her posts. But so far, I can't find anything about O&Young.
Also has anyone used their Stem Cell Fraxel?
    Thanks in advance.

  2. Kain, your concern is legit, your nose is not very secure yet and bump and tear of the incisions could happen. My bridge was off center by 1mm at one point, the PS told me I could push it for up to 6 month and it should go back. I didn't do the push so can't verify if that is true. But I would wait until the last day you could get it done for free to give it as much healing time as possible. I know that mean your birthday would be kinda:bump:

  3. Hi Kain,
Do you know how much (in millimeter) did Dr. Lee raise you PI?

  4. I couldn't agree with you more. Let me clarify that the bump is about a size of a piece of sand or little bit smaller that kinda get stuck under the skin, right? If that is the one you see, I had the same bumps from my last two rip surgeries, they didn't go away and the bumps got sharper and more obvious as time went by as you deswell. I wanted to mentioned it earlier but didn't want to dishearten the nice folks here who had gone thru so much, and with so much hope of their nose job, to be disappointed so soon after the surgery. The bump is a cartilage graft from the rib that if the rib was not shaved correctly, it sort of peeled and formed the bump. Dr. Rizk in NY talked about the a tool or tecnique that would reduce such bumps, check it out from his website. I sensed that Dr. Lee was sort of rush and didn't do a good job preparing the rib for the bridge. Further, I am disappointed at Joann's response that it will absorb and go away, because it mostly won't. I think she just want people to quit asking about that. The good news is it not a hugh problem, you could have your surgeon shave it away, it will be a revision but a very minor one. You could probably have it done in the state and you don't need a specialist to do that for you. Hope this help.

  5. Hi bisousx, I am glad that Dr. Lee was able to give you good projection. This is one most difficult thing to do and many surgeon in the state either won't or can't do it. At least for those that I consulted with. BTW, do yoou think your lip is thinner because of the Paranasal implant, does it make your lip rotate forward a bit so it looks like it is smaller. I noticed the same thing on Kain, it turned out pretty good tho'.

  6. I have had the braces and mini lip reduction years ago, it was ever so slightly improved but that's it.
Thanks for the tax answer:smile: It sucks that I have to pay more for missing the tax inc by a few weeks....that is if I decided to go there. But the price point is attractive, I could pay the same amount as in the states and get a lot more done there.

  7. Questions for anyone who had done their eyes (double eyelids) at VIP. Do you like your new eyes. I am thinking of getting my eyes revision done to correct the old one at the same time I do my nose. The problem with my eyes was the ps cut it weird, instead of cutting a curve that parallel to you lower eyelid, he cut a triangular inverted v shape (a bit exaggerated) more like a boomerang as upper eyelid. Does anyone know that is something could be corrected? I only have 2 weeks and would really like to have them done at the same time. Is that a bad idea? I read ideally I should wait for the nose to deswell before I do my eyes but I don't think I have enough time. Thanks in advance.

  8. it depends on the cause of your protruding mouth though. if your teeth are bent forward, then braces might help. if your lips are really large (flesh) then lip reduction might help. you should consult a surgeon, but in my particular case, i had a deficient chin and depressed nasolabial area. so the paranasals and genio helped

the tax is 10%. it mgiht not affect the prices of all clinics though. some will pass the tax on to their patients, and others will absorb the tax.[/QUOTE]

  9. Your lips look different than the b4 pixs, in a good way. Seems smaller but better. I have similar lips like your but I can't imagine having a sliding geni would give me as good of a profile as yours. I have my surgery schedule with Dr. F in beverly hills in July, but I am thinking of going to korean Vip now. Thanks for sharing.
One more question, how much is the surgery tax inc in Korean in July. Sorry if you answered it already.

  10. Sweetsavvy,
I sent you my pic couple days aga via email (from my personal email) Have you gotten it? I wonder if it goes to your junk box since my subject was "pix". I know I should have thought about it.

    lindaalicious,
I agree with Megalil. It happened to me. It took a week to schedule for a removal of the implant and it rotted a good part of the tip of my nose. Have the doctor prescribe antibiotic and take it religiously until the day of your surgery.

  11. sweetsavvy,
just realize i didn't answered all your questions. i would do the rib to begin with if i hd to do it again. but i'm a bit surprised dr. kim suggest to do the nose and tip all at the same time. is he using "open" or "close" (endonasal) approach? my last dr. is the world renouned rhinny surgeon, he would not do both at the same time. maybe my dr. is more conservative. may i ask how much dr. kim is charging for all these?

  12. ...con't...
My second surgeon was Robinson Lee in Portland OR. I did alar and used my ear cartilge to build my nose bridge. During the consultation he seemed to know what I wanted and knew what he's doing, sounded promising. (Ok, 20 years ago, there were no youtube or surgeon review forum. So I had to go by what I think he knows....)The bridge he build was shorter and lower than I would like, which he said i would need yet another revision to build it up more. But the alar he just cut way too much. When he snipped that left side (I only did local anesthetic) I heard him oops. But he had to cut the same amount on the right side to make it the same. I knew then I went to the wrong person. My mistake of picking him was he was young and only been practicing for a few years. He had done more reductions than augmentations, he was just plain inexperience. So make sure your surgeon had done the same thing you want done many many times. Like a specialist.....the third surgeon....to be con't....gotta wake up early tomorrow.

  13. Hi All,
I have meaning to share my experience with you since I have had about 8 (or more) nose jobs since 1991. But seriously, it will take me days to write them. I have done everything from silicon to gortex to ear cartilage to rib cartilage. Everytime I had my nose worked on, I had a hope that it would be the last time. But there is always something wrong with it a year or two later. While I don't have the best suggestion to you, I can tell you want went wrong with mine. So that you can avoid. I can also tell you who I went to except for the first doctor, it's been almost 20years, I can't remember his name...I went from a surgeon that is a couple hours drive from home to the last one that took 6 hours of flight. All my surgeon are board certified and one of them is one of the most prominent rhinoplasty surgeon in the country.

I have very little to no nose bridge with a wide nose base and nostril. For those who have this type of nose, dont do implant. You can do implant if you have somewhat of a nose bridge and if you want it even higher, it's ok. If you have no or little bridge, the implant can't sit securely on a somewhat flat surface, and it will move with time. It happened to me. I love my silicon implant nose, but after a year the tip near my eye started to move to the right. I had to have it removed. Upon the removal of the implant, I had an infection.

The infection on the tip of my nose caused by the stitches inside the nostril, rotten up a large part of the tip of my nose. After I had the implant remove, i had to wait for it to heal and it took about 2 years before I could have another surgery again....to be continue....sorry i don't have time to prove read....
