I would love to hear more updates from you! I'm considering GNG, myself, but I'm hoping to see more reviews. There was another girl from Australia on their insta that I thought had such a huge difference (in a good way) after rhinoplasty alone
@Insecur1ties I noticed that too, but those are all renowned clincs so I wouldn't doubt their skill since they probably left those places for a reason.
Yeah, from what I know donor cartilage is common Korea, and that probably is because of the asian nose structure. I had a hump nose and had enough septal cartilage for my rhinoplasty, but I'm not sure if I will have enough for my second surgery since I used it during my first. The doctors said I may need to use a donor cartilage if I don't have enough septal cartilage for my revision. I dont mind using whatever as long as the result is good and I don't need another revision

They have a LOTT of reviews on their Korean page, but you should sign in. It's a shame they don't have a lot of the stuff they have on their Korean and Chinese page on their English page Really hoping for some one to go before I go cause I would love to read up on some reviews aside from the other few I have read
agreed with the balance part. sometimes just doing the tip only can through the whole thing off baalnce. thats why its important to go to a specialized surgeon who can take the overall balance into consideration
I sent GNG a kakao message and they quoted me 4.5 million korean won for bridge augmentation (revision is an extra charge of a mil) + tip plasty and 3 million korean won for ptosis correction. I think the prices are pretty reasonable. The consultant spoke English really well and understood my needs and concerns and what I desired and was really thorough. A lot more thorough than I expected. I scheduled myself in for a March appt. Anyone else going around that time? Q__Q
They're somewhere here on this thread. But based on what I read, those reviews were all recent from patients 1-3 months post-op fc talking about how swollen they were still. Not exactly negative reviews imo (i can read Chinese)
From what I know, it can be a side effect from implant. By adding something that wasn't originally there, it can stretch the skin causing thining of the skin. There isnt much of a cure, but you can do autologous graft (skin + fat + diced cartilage) in the area for improvements to the skin.
your body can most definitely reject artificial material AND donor tissue as well. It's pretty rare as long as you find a trustworthy, hygienic hospital/clinic. if your worried about using an implant, the better way would be to either use rib or use your own autologous graft + diced cartilage. again, i dont think you should worry too much tho
if you used the septal cartilage in the tip of your nose, it wont become as soft as before. It will become softer, but it will still be pretty hard. Especially if the tip was repositioned with the cartilage. Since the septal cartilage is soo strong, thats why it is most commonly used in the tip, for its durability and strength to lift and position the tip
I messaged them after reading your review haha did you end up booking? I'm excited to see how it turns out, I messaged them a bit late so it got cut off -- will update >< also, they sent me their new English page. just wanted to share with the rest of yall.
I heard about this story a while back on another forum (or maybe it was this one, I can't remember). I was surprised to see the name pop-up again since it's a pretty easy name to remember. I hope all went well with your case, dear
I am rather curious about them cause I know they are pretty reputable in Korea, but since they don't do mass marketing, it's kind of hard to know the details about them when it comes to their foreign department. I'm highly considering them for a couple of surgeries I had in mind. Hopefully there will be more insight and reviews on them by our fellow purseforumers Please keep us updated ! Looking forward to reading your future shares
I had surgery for my nose done at JW, but the result was insufficient. So, I kept going back for a follow-up, insisting it wasn't done well. I KNOW they knew, but they continued to give me that crap about waiting six months for revision. Sure, six months I understand, but don't act like everything is all gravy when clearly it's not. Fortunately for me (and little did they know) I was staying for a few months, so I had the luxury of constantly nitpicking at them about it every few months.
Anyway, I ended up going through with revision surgery there. But worst of all, they had the audacity to quote me as a revision surgery (MORE THAN WHAT I ORIGINALLY PAID). ********. ********. You mess up, you pay for it. Conclusion? Yes they did redo it, and yes it was free. The way it should have been from the start.
Haha, yeah its kind of confusing for someone who can't read Korean, I think. But here's their English blog. Their contact info is listed as well. They def do seem to have English services http://gngplasticsurgery.blogspot.kr/2016/12/what-to-expect-after-rhinoplasty.html I am actually considering them for revision rhinoplasty since **clinic messed up my nose the first time around .. Good luck to you!
