  1. thanks alot for the info, very informative. will keep all of this in mind

  2. i've been interested in dr.wang for a long time, and he is the only surgeon so far that I would consider to do rhinoplasty with. His aesthetic is very nice and he is a very honest and straight forward doc. Please let me know how ur meeting goes if u end up being able to see him

  3. O god now I'm extra paranoid about going under anaesthesia. Feeling pain during surgery and not being able to say anything is a secret fear of mine lol. I've always thought that for rib you had to be under general anaesthesia. If you do get around to asking him about the nose narrowing I would love to know what he says  by now has you nose 100 percent recovered? Has it completely deswelled by now? (tip wise)

  4. Did Dr. Wang narrow your nasal bones as well to mke them smaller? Do you know if this is something he is skilled at? I kno most Asian doctors can do it but they usually have to put an implant over to smooth out the bridge and sides to mke sure its not bumpy.

I'm assuming you went under general anaesthesia, were you intubated?

  5. Hello, I've been really interested to hear about your results, i'm glad you've come back to the forum  so it's been 6 months since your rhinoplasty?

May I ask what procedures you've exactly had done to your nose, and what the cost was? Was it easy to communicate to him the procedures you wanted done to your nose? Or did you communicate that with a nurse?

Did the clinic set you up with accommodation or did you have to do that yourself? Are there any English speaking staff to accommodate foreigners?

And lastly would you say dr. wang gave you dramatic results (specifically for tip area)? I know he is especially impressive when it comes to tiplasty. And lastly is your nose stiff or hard? Have you been able to adjust well to your new nose with rib?

Sorry for the ton of questions!! I've been dead set on going to dr.wang for such a long time, its good to hear first hand accounts from patients themselves. One of his nurses got rhinoplasty with him and I am absolutely in love with her results that have been posted on his site!

  6. hey i would also love to see her blog as well

  7. hey, ya i kno! he said he would come back on the forum no matter what. i've been interested in dr.wang for such a long time. i think he is the doc for me. his style and aesthetic is exactly what i'm looking for. korean surgeons do nice side profiles, but i do agree from the front it's not that great, and sometimes you barely see a difference. pm me

  8. last time I talked with him which was quite a while ago he quoted me around 5000 usd or cnd i cant remember for rib rhinoplasty. i think the price also included nasal bone narrowing though. not bad compared to the high prices in some korean clinics.

  9. LOL haha we can only hope! to clarify ahappycamper is a guy. he did go through with his surgery and it was successful, his friend told me this. just don't know why he didnt comeback and update everyone :s very frustrating.

  10. lol i know, i think im the only one who somewhat mentions him on a regular basis. i've been interested in him forever, so now i finally feel comfortable with my decision. there were at least 3 forumers i think who went to dr.wang but never reported back with updates. I actually spoke with someone who met him in person and I think they did mention that a few from the forum did actually go to him.

to confirm ahappycamper did go through with rhinoplasty with dr.wang, i just dont know why he never bothered to come back and let everyone know of his experience. i feel like it would help alot with those considering going to him, since his nose jobs are really pretty.

  11. hey, i hven't had anything done by him, but i've been saving up for rhinoplasty, along with school costs so it's been taking longer then expected to get everything together. i hope to go to dr. wang sometime this year or the next. Are you interested in going to him as well? i really do like his results.

  12. wow that is very odd :s maybe it is cuz of swelling. If you got a high implant it is impossible for it to disappear. Maybe with cartilage this can happen but with silicon I dont think so. What did you get for the tip?

  13. hey cool to see someone else in this forum also lives in Toronto
in my honest opinion, doctors in Toronto and Canada as a whole are not very skilled or good at rhinoplasty. I have heard of some horror stories online from patients who were caucasian. I can only imagine they're inexperience with ethnic patients.

  14. may I ask how much in total you paid (US or CAD) for your rhinoplasty?

  15. it has only been 3 weeks. to see the full result of rib rhinoplasty and general rhinoplasty in general you have to wait 6 months to 1 year.

  16. if you look much like you did before it probably means your nose wasn't that bad to begin with. Tht doesn't seem like such a bad thing to me

  17. I know! i'm really dying to hear about some personal reviews from people. But I honestly think face to face consultation will answer all the questions we have. Honestly I think the price is good for rib rhinoplasty. If his prices were dirt cheap then I would be worried if its for real or not. Im pretty sure it's alot cheaper with just regular cartilage tho. Ya the site is super confusing, you should just ask him through email so you can be sure what his prices are. Yes Ive been planning to go for a long time now, just haven't had the chance to set everything in motion cuz of expenses with school. His results are a lot more impressive to me in my eyes then some korean surgeons.

I don't think he does any jaw surgery or contouring. But he does do the whole vline botox thing. I've seen the results pretty good. I think the patients go elsewhere to get that contouring stuff done. I think chin augmentations compliment rhinoplasty really well depending on your profile.

  18. congratz  its nice to see people taking their rhinoplasty experiences outside of korea. There are many skilled surgeons in all of asia, not just korea. Interested to see how your results turn out. good luck!

  19. yup I really like his work, there were a few people on this forum who said they went to dr. wang for rhinoplasty but sadly never bothered to come back and update on their experience. I've been in contact with him a while ago, but sometimes he takes a while to respond and sometimes he doesn't. He quoted me around 5000 usd for rib rhinoplasty. But it is better to email him yourself with the specific procedures you have in mind. If you do ever go visit him for a consultation I would love to know how your face to face consultation goes as I do plan to go to him this upcoming year.

  20. dr. wangs site is www.wangmd.cn, and his email is [email protected]

do you plan on going to him in the near future? His work is pretty good but not many from this forum at least have been to him.

  21. I would advise you to stay away from irradiated rib as i'm sure many other docs will also tell you, its known for really unpredictable absorption rates. You should research about it more to see.

  22. Hey, i'm not going to seoul i'll be going to Dalian, china for dr. wang. I'm currently saving for law school so I consider myself a student, I plan on going around March. Let me know how your rhinoplasty experience goes
