  1. For Fat Grafting (Face)

My Korean friend said http://www.topsurgery.co.kr/ is famous for local people currently with natural look. Locals pronounce (Tee-O-Pee)

One thing I notice is, tourist clinics and local clinics are totally separate markets. Whatever available in google top search (English) may not appear in Korean search engines at all.
When you try to check info from both markets... It always show a lot of info on one side and almost none for the other.

One more I discover is, price for tourist is local price times 2 to 4 or more.

However, this Tee-O-Pee is all in Korean language. My friend said price for face fat grafting should be around 1M kwon for locals. Compared to other tourist clinics I went I got quoted around 2.5M kwon.

I tried to message them in English. Will let you know once I get the price, may be double or triple.

  4. Hi ShinyGlittery
I feel the same but I just keep the worries with me. Glad to hear that im not alone feeling the same sometimes. I guess all decision will be making once you are in korea already and after talking to the doctor. Also reading this forum true or false still you get some valuable info at least. I guess their is no other way cos language is the big barrier.

Good luck to you ; )

  6. I read many comments on dr. Kang IOU and I'm very interested in seeing him. He is very good at double lid revision only? How about first time (my sister case ) to do double eyelid? Lateral and epicanthoplasty? Ptosis?

(My case) I did double eyelid non incision 6 years ago now the creases are smaller (because i'm getting older lol) my creases are like close at the inner corner and open at the outer. I never know how eye revision can be difficult and need to be very careful. I'd like to have a thicker crease. So Im risking not be able to close my eyes? Because the doctor needs to remove the excise skin from my old scar? I wonder if I have less fat on the left side than to the right will I experience asymmetry? I remembered my left eye with less fat had bigger mark after my first surgery. My rims were shown abit more than before that I dont feel comfortable not wearing eye liners at the rims. Luckily my eyes dropped now so as the rims not showing. Is this normal? What happened to my eyes?

    Thank you guys

  7. Haha I like the way you are. Thats what it should be yeahh its our faces after all. Do you know how much time roughly you talk to each doctor? 15-20 min? How do you know he see the result in your head very clearly? Did you ask similar questions at each place?

  8. Im planning for rhinoplasty revision
Many clinics recommended the same to me which is to reimplant soft silicone l shape, with narsal septum or ear cartilage at the tip. Most of the clinics suggested open rhinoplasty eventhough I still prefer close. They say I will have more promising result. Currently im a bit confused with diced cartilage. is it my narsal septum or ear cartilage to be cut into a dice shape to place on the top of my tip? I understand that goretex is not good if you need future revision. Rib is harder to control shape and can have shape distortion plus 2 operation marks on your bodym how about "graft"? What is it? Please correct me if I'm wrong.
    Any suggestion or comment?

    Thank you

Ps. For those with virgin noses. I myself had silicone L shape implanted for 6 years and I have no problem with infection. Also all the doctors I went for revision did not find it hard to replace my nose. So I personally say silicone is not a bad idea : )

  10. Wow this is a very detailed and valuable info. I heard dream is popular among local people as well. So you consulted with how many clinics? Im planning to go for nose revision as well. I did went to korea for consultation but I didnt have a chance getting as much information as you : ( I dont know why some clinics I just ended up talking with consultant only not the doctor.

Could you tell me why you chose dream at the first place? How much they charge you?

Yeahh its true I cannot find any clinics doing close rhinoplasty! It is very interesting to do the revision with dream
