Actually my skin elasticity is worse than others around my age! Such a nightmare. Out of the 4 ps I visitted they mentioned that my lower cheek was chubby bcoz of my jaw bone AND due to saggy skin. The whole time I thought it was my fat that was causing it T_T

So Doc Kim mentioned normally for ppl with good skin elasticity or younger, the skin will shrink accordingly after the face contour procedure done. In my case, I'll have to probably do lifting session in 6 months time.

I'm thinking of doing thread lift as recommended, but your ulthera sounds very promising!!

I was worry abt the recovery time, especially I'm in my 30s, it'll be different compare to a girl in the 20s. So I make sure I follow the doc instruction not to eat salty food, not to chew, on liquid diet, move around to get the swelling go down faster and nutrition rich supplement n food. I really watch what I ate. I don't know abt everybody else, it worked for me. You're entitled to get 2 session of fat grafting injection with 2 prp in it. Once you do it you'll need to come back for your 2nd session in 2 months time.

I passed out when they did the whole procedure. I didn't feel a single thing, so I suppose Botox is more painful...

I have never done ulthera, is Fraxel similar or do u go deeper with ulthera? Best if you consult with your doc ^^

The FG will last for a long time. Few years, and it look much more natural than collagen or hyalornic injection.

I'm on my 30s as well XD Wow good to hear that FG doesn't hurt at all. Ulthera is good for lifting no pain too similar to laser rejuvenation, highly recommended > v <@ It makes me look younger 10 years! Some people thought I was 18 the youngest.

You did Zygoma & Jaw Reduction. Wouldn't you afraid of shrink skin or sagging skin?
Since I'm on my 30's I'm really worried about this. Does it hurt? you also passed out as well?

I had that problem too. My right nostril ended up weird making it assymetrical. I assume he used open rhinoplasty on you. Using tip cartilage casues uneveness along with open rhino which causes significant scar tissue can make the nostril area uneven. Its what happened to me. But the good thing is if u use a cottonbud and keep stretching the nostril to the right position it loses up the tissue a little and over time it becomes less obvious.

I did my nose wing reduction before. My nostrils are even but my wings are little uneven
can see it quite obvious when you are smiling : '( (I did non-incision method)

Plan to go to Korea for revision, incision method now. Even if incision can have a chance of getting an uneven nose?!
As I plan to remove soft tissue on my tip too. You know if it makes your nostrils bigger? what are the cause of uneven Please suggest

Why Korea for Plastic Surgery?

I'm doing my nose and eyes in August. In my opinion, I feel that going to one that is popular among locals are better rather than clinics that target internationals such as BK, OZ, and I cant rmr what is. Many locals don't even know these clinics, so I'd rather go with my gut and go to one that has a good reputation among the locals even if their is a language barrier. They usually have a translator. Try emailing them and they respond in English. They don't target internationals because they're doing perfectly fine with the locals. That's what I want

Grand, Dream, Regen, Wonjin, and Cinderella are all VERY popular in Korea and many stars have been there. I know G. Na and Afterschool have been to Cinderella, but I can't remember which went to the other ones.

I almost decided to have a revision surgery on my eyes with one doctor in Korea, who is supposed to be very skilled (after I had contacted many doctors in Korea). So I have been following and visitng all kinds of plastic surgery-related websties looking for some information about his patients everyday. It was very hard to find a real patient's story. Recently I found that when there is any negative review about him, it gets deleted right away. There was one persistent patient who would post his review again and again. It seems that even he couldn't persist forever because his review is gone now, though. But due to the combination of his persistency (for a while) and my everyday routine check, I could read some real story.

Anyway now I am considering having my revision surgery here in the US, if I still want to have it.

On the 9th was told to come again to take my nose tape. Dr Kim checked my nose and face. Holding my zygoma and mentioned best to stay on the liquid diet for 2 months TーT
After that they gave me deswelling injection and also usher me to another treatment room for deswelling session with warm light, nose pack to get rid off my black heads and another machine, not really sure what it was, nurse squirted gel all around my face then slide around and around on my skin, it felt a little cool, she mentioned it will help my skin cell to renew and heal it self.

On the 13th visitted tlps for the last time, dr yim checked as usual told me to massage my breat for 2 months 5x a day. Ushered to another room to receive breast massage. The nurse told me it's going to be really painful. I was nervous. But then when the massage started, I think the sensation is more like kneading your already really muscle ache chest. The massages last around 15 minutes, then followed with the warm light around my breast for deswell n speedy recovery.

I will need to go back on March for my second fat graft. Can't wait to go again ^^.

How many times you need to do fat grafting? How much does it hurt compare to botox?
scary? How long the doctor told you it lasts? I have done ulthera before not sure if this will affect my face when doing FG

I went for consultation at ID and Banobagi.
Banobagi has lots of people I'm not sure what happened on that day.
Up till now still cannot decide where to go. Raeally hard for me to do research on the screen.
There are all successful results ofcourse. Do you plan to do everything at the same clinic?

In my honest opinion, do not go to seoul for plastic surgery. If you are a Korean residing there, then by all means, go. But if you are a Singaporean like me, or a foreigner, THINK TWICE before going, REALLY.

I was just like you guys a few months ago, researching on the best clinics I should go in seoul for my plastic surgery. And whenever I see a person saying that his/her ps did not succeed or advising other people to do their ps in their home country instead, I would just tell myself that I wouldn't be as unlucky as them. But, in reality, there is a possibility that your ps will not turn out like how you expected it to be. And when that happens, I tell you, the feeling aint good at all.

My plastic surgery gave me disappointing results and I had been feeling really, really down the past few months...to the point where I actually had to go to a psychologist. I was crying almost everyday as I felt that my plastic surgeon made me uglier than before. If I had my ps done in my home country (Singapore), this might not even happen as the ps would take extra care to fix my eyes as he knows I can sue him if he didn't do a good job. OR even if the surgery turned out bad, you can just go back to the same surgeon and get things revised immediately. But, for me, I couldn't consult my plastic surgeon as I would have to spend lots of money just to go back to seoul to consult him again. And, to be frank, I don't even trust my plastic surgeon anymore. It really makes a big difference if you are a local consulting the surgeon, or a foreigner consulting him. The surgeon may appear friendly, but, if things go wrong, he might just push away all his responsibilities. EVEN if he says he can help you revise, you would have to spend lots of money again to fly to seoul to let him see you personally and then decide on the next thing to do. And if the surgeon says he has to monitor your condition or you have to wait for few more months to do the revisional surgery, you would have to spend more money again, flying back to your home country and then wait a few wks/months fly back again then see what the surgeon says again. Ok lah, if you are damn rich and can afford to fly here fly there, then by all means do your ps in any country you want. But even if u are damn rich, do you have the time, or even the mental strength to undergo all these? The surgeon may even be telling lies. He might ask you to go back few months later when actually he has to monitor your condition every 2 weeks, just because he's busy or in actual fact, he doesn't give a **** even if you turn out ugly or not.

TRUST ME people, if you are someone who takes pride in his/her appearance, all the more you should not go to a foreign land to do something so important to your face/body. Do it in your home country instead. It's much safer and convenient. ESP if you are a Singaporean like me. The plastic surgeons here are good and definitely, much more responsible. If sth goes wrong, *snap* you are back at your clinic, listening to what the surgeon advises you to do. If you are going for minor surgeries like double eyelids and stuff, why cant you just do it in spore/home country? Are the surgeons that bad here/there? Ok, I'm not sure about other countries, but I know s'pore has many great plastic surgeons who can do your eyes well. Actually, if you are going for a more major operation, would you even wanna take such a risk to do it in another country? IF it turns out good, ok, you are just one of the very lucky ones. But if it doesn't, I tell you, you will feel damn helpless.

Okay, I think what you people might be thinking now are stuff like which clinic I did my ps and what ps I did. Trust me, I did my research and I went to a reputable clinic and plastic surgeon in seoul. But, you see, things still went wrong. I'm telling you people all this as I really, really don't want to see anyone else undergo the same trauma I faced the past few months. I'm genuinely concerned for you guys. I'm not discouraging ps, but I just hope you all will think twice before deciding to do your ps in another country.

I am seriously thinking about this! Actually I just came back from Seoul after consultation.
I mean I'm nobody in Seoul not an actress etc : '(

I did my rhinoplasty locally (actually it is now still nice but I just want to make it higher with the tip) I felt different caring during the consultation. I mean the doctor was very nice, but where I leave surgery isn't so common. The doctors tend to slow down on explanation and better give better response on my worry. Not too many operation cases per day.

It is really a hard decision for me as well though. And you are very thoughtful warning people about this.

So, more experience doctor less caring or more caring less experience! Y. Ya

Boobs looking high a little, already soft n looking natural . It's up to me now, the more I diligently do it the more it'll look n feel natural. The first few months is the crucial period~^^

My shortlist is Item (because they seem pretty conservative and safe), TLPS, Regen, and View.

Anyone has any opinions on VIP clinic? Or Banobagi?

I went to banobagi and ID. Sadly I didn't see the doctor because I just decided to do zygoma when I'm back. So many people talk about Dr Kim at ID for best face contouring.
I would see him too if I knew I wanted it. Wish you best of luck!

Wow, reading this forum has been a bit overwhelming for me. I had originally stalked Soompi forums for information on eyelid surgery, of course there was only one thread and only a few clinics and doctors mentioned. Now there's a WHOLE LIST of different clinics and doctors and oh my goodness I don't even know what to look at now.

I had originally wanted to do eyelid surgery in Canada or the US but seeing as how cheap the airfare to Korea is right now, I'm really considering flying to Korea to do it.

I had only wanted to do my eyelids, but after reading through some of the procedures and seeing pictures, I'm now tempted to do fat graft to my face to flush out my hollow looking eyes and under my cheekbones. Also Teium has this interesting procedure called Buccal fat removal which seems like a good option to slim the jam instead of reducing the mandible. However I haven't come across any posts about it.

I love the post with the dates of people who are going to Korea, please keep updating it!. I am considering going in either early March or early April. Please do message me if you plan to go any of those times, I don't like the idea of traveling by myself haha.

In the meantime, looks like I need to do more research *.*
