Hi i saw your posts and would also like to view your pictures if possible. I will be in Seoul in April, and i want to hear more about your rhino experience. Thanks. may i have your kaokao ID too?
Hi is there a channel for us to ask questions regarding the rhinoplasty. I tried to get the answers through the translator Brian, but had no replies cause I think he's busy.
These are basically the questions I need answered before I even go to Korea for rhino.
1) is there a time stamp as to how long the silicon implant (bridge augmentation) and tip will last?
2) even if the result is not permanent, will it look "normal"
without revision?
This is a huge concern because I'm in my 20s
3) I previously did a partial incision double eyelid surgery in Korea. Will the sutures be at risk of loosening from the rhinoplasty?
I ask this because I see many patients with swollen eyes after the surgery
4) is it possible to do Tiplasty without bridge augmentation?
My eyes were already brought close together by epicanthoplasty: and I think to have them appear even closer with the bridge would not be good for my case.
Hi Queen of Blades, so the reason for the revision was that the primary surgery for rhino did not give u the dramatic result u wanted, not because Dr Suh botched your nose in any way?
Thank you so much for the info.
Also could u confirm that Dr Suh was unable to correct the upturned appearance? Or Was it because of the swelling then?
Hi pebbles. I had partial incision too. (At least that's what the clinic claims , it looked like full to me)
And I think the wound would still be quite bloody at day 3?? I removed mine at day 6. I think it's a little too ridiculous to get them out early. (Half the time)!!I would rather risk missing my flight home
Hey zombiejac. I did. I actually posted my before and after pics on the last page. XD I do not wish to repeat the posting again and spam the page with my pics.
Hey let me know how it goes. My nose bled easily when I was young and I had to undergo a burning splint treatment to patch a hole (caused by an injury)
Hi for those doing primary rhino, could u make a post describing the surgery and your recovery experience?
After a online consult with dr Suh, I'm looking at the following procedures:
1) Nasal bridge augmentation by use of implant or autogenous tissue like dermofat or rib cartilage.-> I'm looking at dermofat, as I feel uncomfortable with a foreign implant
Please make sure that u do a lot of research before undergoing these procedures. Epi alone by itself made a huge significant diff to my face and overall appearance already..
Teuim is good and deemed safe by foreigners. I guess the locals there know of other doctors who are just as competent as Teuim, but cheaper.
We foreigners only rely on English forums and word of mouth
I have a friend who went to grand too and the same thing happened: it loosened in 2 years. I strongly discourage Grand, the surgeons don't seem to have the competency.
Also, FYI, u should be getting a free revision.
And abt the price: The rate they quoted u is bellow market rate. A competent doctor will charge much more. At least 3,000,000 won
Hey Hyung, the tightness comes when your eyes are tired? It's been more than one year. And sometimes after wearing contact lenses for long hours, I feel the tightness too. Been searching for an explanation
