Yup. The price they quote u in the email is usually accurate.
I had a very gd price. Think it was the lowest (when I compare forum prices for teuim) . Think it was because I was a student. The English consultant tried charging me 300USD higher. But Dr Kwon quoted me a lower price through email and I was able to show it to her...
As for accommodation, I stayed at my hostel at Seoul national uni. I was studied there for 5 months.. So can't help u with Acc matters. Sorry :/
Thanks but it does not give info on the method.
Anyway I found out that mine was a full. Was tricked. Exchanged pics with 2 patients who underwent full. And our wounds and rate of recovery is exactly the same (when partial is supposed to be faster). In fact, mine was more bloody than another patient's at day 3!! >
Hi has anyone done a partial incision (eyelid surgery) before? From what I read online, partial incision involves using stab incisions, instead of a full incision line.
I had a partial incision with dr Kwon (Teuim) Today is day 49 and when I close my eyes, it looks like this.
It seems like a full to me. Doesn't look like a stab incision at all.
Does the partial incision method vary amongst doctors? Can anyone confirm this? Thanks.

Unlike u, I wanted in folder lids at first (it was even written and ticked on my form). But I woke up to find in out folder ones instead. Having difficulty adjusting to my new look now.
I think in korea there are 2 types of doctors: unskilled doctors that do exactly what u want but do a **** job. Or skilled doctors that do a good job, but do what they want instead
I think I read almost every post before going for my surgery. I have never come across any posts relating to botched jobs under teuim. So not to worry!
Why does my picture look like I had a botched result??
I think no eyelid surgeon can guarantee a 100% success rate. But in my opinion Dr kwon is the safest choice.
Yup. 의원 means euiwon.
Thank god I could read Korean, if not I would have been totally oblivious. You can spot it on wonjin advertisements.
Another forumner by the name of Milktoki is also in the process of filing a complaint about Wonjin (for eyes) .Last I heard she managed to get through to them.
U might want to contact her too
Hi firstly I'm sorry that you had to go through that.

If you are suffering from a cosmetic surgery botched job performed in Korea, you can file this form to the KCA (korea consumer agency). It's in English.
I would advise u not to go back to wonjin for a revision.
(U want to make sure that this is a last revision)
My suspicions about wonjin first arose when a forumner who had a botched eye job wrote a long email to me personally to warn me.
Unlike you, she had a full incision so the damage was severe.
Would recommend you to go to dr Kwon from teuim. It's non incisional so the revision job should b quite easy.
This was an extract from an email I sent to my mum after discovering that wonjin mislead to me. I risked loosing my 700 USD but was so prepared to.
I previously hesitated posting this on a public forum, but after reading your post, I think I should for the benefit and safety of other Forumners:
1) The term "director" does not mean anything. ALL doctors have that "director" title from the 2 clinics he came from
2) wonjin told me he has "many experiances in wonjin". But records show online that he (My assigned doctor) was still a doctor at Y&T clinic as of Dec 2012.
This means that earliest he could have been in wonjin is Jan 2013
3) and about the Y&T clinic: I found out from their clinic that they do not perform "tension free epi", a technique that my doctor is supposed to perform on me!!!!
Tension free epi is a new scarless method that released the tension band of the Mongolian fold without cutting out the skin. Y&T clinic's method removes the skin, leaving a scar.
The new method requires a doctor of many experiences. And this fella only has 1 year?? Cause he was still in Y&T as at Dec 2012.
4) he is very unlikely to be a "specialist". Wonjin tried to avoid using the word when they replied me, claiming instead that he has "many experiences" . No title to back that.
5) . I believe that wonjin could not assign me a better person because of the high turnover.
When I compared their English to Korean (updated) page. Over 20 faces were different
6) wonjin was previously listed on a online rating site where people could rate them. I checked and they have removed their name from the site.
Previously they told the public in their blog that they could be found there
7) the eye department has an Euiwon it. Which means "non specialist" (I would not have recognized it if I did not learn Korean. AND THANK GOD for the new policy by the Korean gov)
According to a news article, all clinics run by non specialist doctors have to have a title euiwon added to the end of their name.
So it shows that Wonjin is a LIAR. Exactly my point. I will copy and paste their email here:
"Dr. Jo (my assigned surgeon) is not new. He has many experiences for eyelid surgery at Wonjin.
You can trust us, your consultant(Sophy) matched best surgeon who has best medical technique
He is in the Korean website, but our English website has not been update for a long time.
I totally understand what is your concerning.
But I need to assure that Dr. Park Wonjin who is representative doctor of Wonjin beauty medical group is specialist for revisional breast surgery and facial contouring. He invited best surgeon in each field to reach the patients goals.
Please trust our medical system."
I even offered to pay more for park wonjin and this was the response I got.
Also I booked my surgery 4 months before as I was an exchange student in Seoul.
To all Forumers. Beware of large clinics, esp if u are foreign. U may be a trainee doctor's "experiment"
Hi what do you and swallow mean by drooping eyes? By any chance does it look like my eyes at day 35?
Here are my pictures: labelled before, day 1(surgery day), day 8, day 25, and day 35.
U can see that my right eye is still slightly smaller (or swollen I hope) than my left at day 35.
I'm currently at day 40.
Proceedures: partial incision double eyelid+ non incisional ptosis+epi.
Doctor: Dr Kwon from Teuim
Decided to upload so people don't need to pm me for pics
All pictures are without makeup. So u can still see my epi scars. (Which are fading)
I would be careful of pics/ patient testimonials from large clinics. I would like to share by experience with Wonjin.
I almost went to wonjin for eyelid surgery. But I discovered that the doctor assigned to me was not an eyelid specialist as claimed by them. When I requested for dr park wonjin to do my surgery, they told me he only specializes in breast augmentation and facial contouring
If u look at the recent patient testimonial used by them:
Omg swallow Im so grateful to have met another patient with the same condition as me!
Originally my right eye was slightly smaller than my left. Dr kwon asked me to correct it with ptosis.
Not my right eye is still slightly smaller (not obvious at all) but I think it's the swell because when u poke u can see the water retention. I can tell that my eyes after surgery are more symmetrical than my previous eyes though.
Today is day 40 and I still hope for perfectly symmetrical eyes.
I used to think that the slight asymmetry i see now was my fault because I chose the partial incision method instead of the full incision method recommended by Dr Kwon. He told me partial will work that's why I chose it.
Hi swallow, why did your eye droop? Is your revision free?
Even doing surgery on both eyes does not guarantee that they will heal symmetrically as for my case.
