  1. This is weird. There have been two forumers joined lately who talks about "docfinderkorea" and Banobagi. If you really do "research that exhaust your bandwidth" on PF, it is not hard to find those step to step guides on how to prepare and going under surgeries in Korea. I think people in this forum are against translators and all that stuff.
Perfectionistxxx, why didn't you mention how much your surgery costs? If the whole service is free they probably got commission fees. You're making it sounds too good to be true.

  2. Hi ddalgi, could you ask your unnis which surgeon did their zygoma and nose? Also, is TLPS good at breast augmentation?

  3. I like b/a of TLPS too but I hear some negative reviews about their customer service like charging for a blank CT scan disk.. and of course Shan Shan's experience. That being said, I still think the surgeons are skilled, and worth a visit.
Banobagi Dr Oh has many good reviews. He is busy though, so you can only speak to him for 5 or 10 mins before deciding to have surgery with him. Due to their fame, they are very expensive...
DAPRS is similar (in my opinion) to Banobagi because they're big, busy and expensive. Dr Lee's skill is also guaranteed. A b/a.
There is another clinic called Namu, which is popular with locals. They are good for facial contouring. They only have Chinese website for now. a review.
I will advice you not to go to FACELINE because it is well known that they are factory.
Also in my list: The Line, Girin, View, Real, White, Mega, Lavian. Anyone has experience with them;)?

(Do not quote me for above :-P just personal opinions)

  4. Thank you for sharing this information! I searched the clinics, but can't find the website of LS plastic surgery... Bandoeye sometimes gets bad review from foreigners. So beware... As to Mega, their style is very natural, which is good, but when I look at their doctors' profiles, I see "oculoplasty/rhino" specialty under every doctor. hmm... does your Korean friend recommend it for eye/nose or facial contouring?

  5. mummymm, may I ask you a few questions? I’ll be thrilled if you answer them ^ ^
    1. How long are you staying in Korea? I know clinics in North America request patients to go back after 6months/1yr to check their condition. But during the short stay in Korea it is imposible to check..
    2. How are the equipments comparing to North America? How’s the doctor’s technique?
    3. If you plan to do other surgeires, how long should you wait before doing other surgeries?

  6. I've heard the story too. I think JW used practice doctors on her, and the doctors did extremely bad results on her whole face. Her CT scan shows that her chin is asymmetrical, the mandible are uneven, and her nose implant is slanted. However I have never seen such bad reviews about JW on this forum :/

  7. Yes, parents need to sign a conformation for patients under 18. Most korean parents send their kids to do surgery after graduating from high school, so 18-19 yro is normal for small surgeries like eyes/nose, since these organs stopped developing around age 16 for girls. I know many girls who commit to these surgeries at age 17 and they're fine, but if it's bone shaving the best age is 20. I've consulted with doctors about this matter. Our eyes sag due to aging, not plastic surgery.
As a 17 yro myself, I'm interested in your cousin's surgery journey, keep me (if not us) updated if you can
