  1. I just booked my flight to Seoul. I'll arrive on the 24th of October and i'll leave on the 6th of November!

Who is also there at the same time? I want to schedule some clinic visits on the 24th and 25th, but really want to partner up with somebody to get some more discount.

As you can see in my signature I want to do fc and alarbase and aegyosal!

Also wondering how the weather will be around this time in Seoul? If anybody knows lol

And if it is cheapest to exchange my cash at the airport bank, or outside bank, or if I do it at a bank anyways, it doesn't matter?

  2. I am planning on going to Korea in 2015, i'm flexible with time, January or February is fine (no later). It'll be freezing cold though!

Who else is going around that time? I really want to set up a group or just a travel buddy whom I can go to consultations with to bargain or stay in the same guesthouse at least. Is there maybe also a Kakaotalk group already for people who go in that period?

  3. Tiger you should definitely stay. If the bone is even showing?!
It's your face, you don't want to take the risk. Unless you know a really good doctor that you trust back in your own country who can treat it

  4. Haha I do want the v line, but I have the chin implant now so my face is longer so more v, only side of face is broad and wide now, which is why I wanted to do jaw shaving only

  5. That is definitely false for sure!!! Wtf
    1. Double eyelid is normally around 1-2 mil krw
    2. Nose job can be very varying...hard to say...depends what material you want to use and also do you only want to make the bridge higher, or also tip or also sides/alar and stuff. But I got quoted from some clinics are as follows: 2.75 mil krw and from another clinic 3.8 mil krw

  6. Before I did incisional I did non incisional one, it took one month to look normal for me
After one week still very swollen and I also had bruises on my eye
The crease will go down for sure!

  7. oh! I also got a chin implant...to correct my protruded mouth, but also made my chin a bit longer so I quite like it...I was thinking now I only do mandible/jaw shaving, no more v-line because I have the implant in chin now

  8. I was thinking about that, but almost all the doctors I spoke to say it doesn't make that much difference, more visible from side view then front view, and also if you have droopy eyes you shouldn't do it because then your eyes will look even more sad/droopy

  9. When I did consultation at a clinic I spoke to the doctor only, no consultant
And when I went to another clinic I spoke to a consultant first and then the doctor
But I prefer only speaking to the doctor...but anyway, there isn't always a consultant involved first!

  10. Yes exactly! I did my eyes and nose last month in Korea, and next year I want to do jaw reduction (not v line because I also got chin implant already, so only want to reduce width of my face), I don't think my nose will be too big for my new face size :graucho: haha

  11. It takes so long? I am now 10 days after removing stitches, 17 days post op! Scar is starting to be a little bit red/brown isn...I was hoping by next week it will be less noticeable that I did double eyelid surgery.....

  12. 1. go with a friend or group if possible.
    2. don't use a translator or take your host mom.
    3. don't tell anyone where you're going and when because someone may contact the clinic and pretend to have "sent you" and take commission.
    4. whatever price they give you, bargain down at least 30%.
    5. ask for a CD of the 3d scan, so you only have to do it once and use it at other clinics. (Has anyone have luck w/this yet? someone mentioned recently that they paid TLPS $30 to do it and they gave her a blank disk.)
    6. know the going rates for native koreans, as a reference point for bargaining.

    7. Ask for a copy of the contract and receipt of payment *they actually don't always give you this automatically
    8. Ask for a stamp or paper, for example when you did really major surgery and they can't recognize you at the airport they'll still let you through (I heard this from someone haha)
    9. For consultation specifically: just say I can only spend for example 5 mil KRW, I want to do double eyelid, nose augmentation and chin implant and epi. Is there something we can do to work this out?
    10. Bring a notebook with all your questions, when you are there, you just forget some important questions on how you want your nose/eyes to look like due to stress or what not! Also jot down the prices!

  13. Tapered double eyelid looks more natural on asians. That's true!
I did an in out fold!

In Korea they mostly prefer tapered double eyelid, but in Japan they prefer parallel

  14. I hear that too! But I think it's neglect-able. Like honestly how small must your nose be that it doesn't fit the size of your face haha, unless your face right now is very wide and you plan on making it smaller
