  1. Thanks for sharing your experiences. How are your results so far?

And from what you said Opera functions in a way whereby the doctor you consulted with is not the one who will ultimately operate on you. I'm worried if there could be some practising doctors in this case who will use the chance to 'test' their skills on the patients, as with some of the horror stories shared in other threads. Weren't you worried of the same thing?

Finally I see that you did not visit Jayjun in the end? Is there a particular reason why you forgo that clinic?

  2. Hi Trini, thanks for the super detailed review of your surgery. You look really good now! Congrats for having gone through such a successful surgery! I am also considering banobagi for the same procedures. Could you share how much you paid?

Also I do have another question regarding your fc.. at this stage have you noticed some narrowing in the width of your mid face i.e. the cheekbone area? And is there still significant swelling at that area?

Thank you and do keep your updates coming

  3. I kind of regret my des but neither did I like my completely single eyelids. I guess what suits me best is the kind of very fine and shallow crease that has the effect of making my original single-lid eyes bigger, yet does not change my look too much. I used to have that after my first des loosened, but now after my revision des my eyes just look too big and different from before. So I am kind of stuck.. because crease removal isn't exactly what I need too..

However if you are considering crease removal, I used to research about it but couldn't find much info on such procedures. Some people or surgeons said such procedures do not exist. Even though some hospitals did claim they can do it, I have not personally met any real patients who had undergone such procedures and so I remain doubtful about it. The b/a pictures may look good on the hospital's website but I think they shouldn't be trusted 100%. Have you met anyone who had actually undergone the crease removal?

  4. Hi~ thanks for sharing your photos! your eyes look great  how's the height of your crease? It looks like a natural hidden crease from your pictures.. did you request for slightly higher fold?

  5. its rare to hear about vision being affected after the eyelid surgery.. especially when it is just normal surgery, without ptosis correction. agree that you should probably see an eye doctor about this.. also the skin may be due to some allergy towards the drugs.. hope it gets resolved soon!

could you kindly share some pics of your eyes now? just want to see more results of dr kwon's work. thank you!

  6. Hi I have similar type of crease as you and am also looking for revision to lower it. Have you decided on a clinic? How many months post op are you? You should wait because mine continues to soften at 6th month. I may do my revision at the 1 year mark.

  7. hihi Riskaverse, I would like to find out more about your revision with dr kwon.. appreciate if you could share the info with me. I have sent you a pm.. pls kindly check your inbox!

  8. I didnt know he does eyebrow lift.. are you happy with the results so far?

  9. Can you explain the shape? I had mine done at the same place too..

For epi restoration, eve and shinseung are supposed to be good. There are several posts about them in this forum. You might want to check them out~

  10. I definitely think Dr Kwon has the ability to create all sorts of folds, as I have seen different kinds of folds on his website. In my case, I wanted a very low and thin crease but ended up with one that i feel is too big for me, but which some of you might consider a conservative fold. It is all quite subjective. For example I have heard many people saying he tend to do small and natural creases, but in my opinion, his style look more like dolly eyes to me.

Which led me to wonder how those earlier people who got the right type of crease they want communicated to him.. or did his style just started drifting towards the in-out crease that most of us get nowadays.

  11. Hey Deepeyes, good to see you back. Your stitch line actually doesnt look too bad. You should see my scars from my NON-incisional surgery. It looks worse than yours.

Did you do lid lowering with Dr Kang? Would you mind showing a b/a pic of your lowered lids?

I have actually pm-ed you sometime ago too.. hope to hear back from you!

  12. Hi Jillyqueen, your eyes at 8.5 months look great and natural. I was also looking at the pics you posted in the earlier stages.. do you think the distance between your brow and eye widened over time?

I feel that right now my brows and eyes are a little too close, and am hoping it somehow widens and become more natural over time... not sure if that's possible.

  13. Its been 3 months since my surgery and i am still having the tight feeling in my eyes.. is this normal? anyone had the same experience? I am attributing it to ptosis correction but am not sure if it could be due to the fact that my crease is very deeply anchored, so causing more stress on the levator muscle. I did notice that my crease is alot deeper this time as compared to my previous buried suture surgery (w/o ptosis correction). Feeling quite stressed about this..

  14. if I am not wrong, the excision method also results in the distance between eyes and brows to be shortened. What they do is they do a cut along the existing crease line, and then another cut for the new and lower crease line, and remove the skin in between. In other words, the eyelash line move upwards to the level of the old crease line, making the distance between the crease and eyelash line to appear lesser. Hence, it is not really 'lowering' the crease line, but just 'shortening' the distance between crease and lashline. Hope this is not confusing. This is what I learnt from a few consultations.. if anyone understands otherwise, do share~

  15. Hi weick, thanks for sharing your experience. I was considering Dr kang for crease lowering as I wanted a non-skin excision method. As you mentioned he is supposed to undo your previous double lid, I am guessing if you underwent the non-skin excision crease lowering? You said your previous lid is still folding at the same spot and this got me worried.. isn't the non-skin excision method supposed to ensure that the old crease do not fold back by filling up the old crease line through fat grafting? Did he do that for you?

  16. I cant remember what method mine was.. it was too long ago. yeah do think carefully, but a few other factors can affect the success/failure of the non-incisional method e.g. presence of mongolian fold, ptosis etc. Mine loosened partly cos of mongolian fold i believe. Non-incisional do has its pros too.. such as not leaving a visible scar on the eyelid like how incisional ones do, and of cos less invasive. Perhaps non-incisional is a better and more conservative primary surgery you could consider.

  17. Yeah now with the swelling gone my crease is maintaining at 2mm. but this is still too high for me because i wanted a thin and subtle crease. Shall see how it turns out after 6 months..

  18. Mine was non-incisional. The ptosis was done with double eyelid so I guess if I were to change the crease the ptosis correction has to be redone too..? but I am not sure if I want to do ptosis again because there isnt improvement in my uneven eye problem and the tight feeling I am getting from it is tiring out my eyes..

  19. Have you consulted your doctor on how it will be redone? Is it via incisional? And was yours incisional? Yeah I will consult with my doctor again in a few months time, if it doesnt get better.

  20. I am not happy with the depth and shape of the crease.. I know some more swelling will go down over time but I doubt that has much effect on the depth and shape. I want to change it but am afraid to go through another revision surgery.. feeling kind of trapped now.
