Going under too many times can be bad for your health, and it's important to minimize how often you do it. I was just speaking of my personal opinion of what I would try not to do, and from what I have heard from doctors and nurses that I know and have seen. It's definitely not a solid number
I wasn't being petty, I'm not sure why you're freaking out over it. I was making a comment because it's not safe to bring in bottled water and go against the doctors orders. You're the one who said it, I was merely trying to explain and help out, lol. No need to work yourself up about something I'm not even trying to fight you about.
Unfortunately, face masks don't actually protect you. They protect others around you if you are sick from the germs you may spread by coughing or sneezing. They don't work the other way around.
They do this if they think you are drowsy and might choke. What if you just got facial surgery, swallow the water wrong, start coughing violently and rip open what they just did? This has happened to me in the US as well. It isn't a korean thing and I suggest you don't sneak in water to drink. If they don't think you're able to drink water, don't drink water.
I wouldn't go now... You don't know if the number of people infected will explode soon, and you're more susceptible to getting it if you have a weakened immune system from recovering from surgery and open wounds so that sounds like a terrible combo. There is always a disease that is out breaking somewhere but there's not always a deadly disease breaking out where you want to go to to have surgery that doesn't have a cure or really any treatment other than "let's keep you comfortable and hydrated and hope you don't die".
More than once a year, definitely. Some doctors will even let you do it again after a week. However that is too soon for GA I believe. I would say try to keep at LEAST a month in between when you go under GA and try not to do it more than twice or three times in a year. Always minimize how much anesthesia you get. It also depends on the skill of the person administering it and monitoring it. The first surgery I had I was out for like literally 10 hours afterwards and was really out of it after that. The second one with GA I woke up about an hour after surgery and my throat hurt from the breathing tube, but I was fully awake and not out of it. And it depends how long you're going under and other factors.
Wow! You look so good! I hope you stop back to post with updated results sometime!
I just heard of them a few days ago and I was really interested in getting teardrop implants there. Now I'm interested in getting my facial surgeries (rhino and jaw) here too! It sounds great. You look absolutely amazing. I hope they answer my email because I'd love to check them out, if not for my face, at least for my chest! They also don't sound ridiculously expensive which is great.
Oh, I see what you mean, thanks! I'm definitely more cautious now. I emailed them about it and I'll just see what the price is before I get too excited. And I'll try to find more pictures.
How do you know they've been altered? I was worried about that too but I really love all their pictures. I'm not sure how I would see natural ones unless I actually met someone who did it in person
I disagree, I'd say it depends. Were you a late developer, or did you stop growing early? For example, I am younger but I stopped growing extremely young and all my bones have fused (or whatever it is that happens) that were going to grow. 18 is not too early for me. It could be too early for you if you stopped growing late. If you are completely done growing in terms of outwards appearance, I would do it sooner rather than later as long as you're sure you want it and have done research. Also, you probably will be able to heal better the younger you are.
I'll likely be having my jaw reduction at 18, I'm too scared to mess with facial structure any further. If you'd like to talk about it, you can message me on KKT ^_^
So I stumbled across their breast augmentation with teardrop implants and I have to say it's the most natural one I've ever seen. Does anyone have an experience with them? Apparently TL and The Line are two different clinics, and The Line has awesome pictures for their results. SO natural and now I'm thinking of getting fat grafts and potentially returning and getting small/medium implants so it looks as natural as possible.
Here are their pictures, first one is from one of their "Real Stories":
I'm looking to get my two front teeth shaven down slightly or somehow made smaller so they do not look huge compared to my other teeth. Does anyone know of a good dentistry clinic? If it is part of another clinic I don't care. I'm also looking to get other procedures, but I'd likely get right when I get there and then pursue my other procedures.
Yes, I'm planning on having it done. Another member said they had it done well at this clinic, so this is where I want to go http://touchyoups.com/new2013/mn01/mn01_02.html?lv=2 I think this is the right page, I'm not sure as I really don't speak much Korean. Apparently it isn't nearly as expensive as other clinics as well. x Jenna
I don't really want to name my surgeon but it was in New York. I would not recommend them whatsoever. They sort of fixed the medical issues in my name (polyps, deviated septum, enlarged turbinates, etc) and that was fine but did not listen to what I wanted for the cosmetic part and my nose looks really bad. Not botched, but exactly the type of nose I hate and told them I hate. You wouldn't know I got a nose job but my nose is ugly. If you're from New York and want to know who it was/the practice you can pm or kkt me and I'll tell you.
If you're half asian it's possible you don't actually have the bone structure that you're showing in the pictures.
Male models are not the same as a normal person.
There are many clinics that do procedures like this. I don't want to come off like I don't care, but you need to do a bit more research and talk to clinics before posting here because it seems like you just want us to do your research. I think people here are happy to help but need more information and not such a general/vague question. x Jenna
Are you sure your diet isn't just making your face puffy or something? That's a very low bodyfat percentage.
It would be easier for you to just email a clinic or something with your photos if you can't post them here. I dont' think people really know how to help you like this. x Jenna
I'm so happy for you!! I've been considering JW a lot and this is definitely putting it at the top of my list. Everyone says the nose packing is terrible, but when I got my first rhinoplasty I didn't even know it was in my nose, lol! Then they pulled it out and I was able to breathe through my nose for the first time in my life, it was like my world had changed completely. I guess it wasn't as bad for me because I never knew what it was like to be able to breathe through your nose, but now that I sort of can I'm dreading having to go through that again. I was throwing up blood when I got it done, I don't think it gets worse than that at least T_T Were you asleep for the rhino, or just kind of loopy like the other procedures? Also, were the treatments after surgery included in the cost or did you pay for them?
Ahhh again I'm so happy for you! I love reading these stories. It must feel really awesome to have such great results and such a successful trip! x Jenna
No idea, sorry! I've been quoted as high as 11k but that is a ridiculous number (and it was revisional so more expensive). I know silicone can be anywhere from like 3k-6k, so I would say maybe 7k-10k? But unless you have a really big issue with your nose that needs a ton of attention I can't imagine it being 10k. And of course you could probably go somewhere where they will quote you much lower. FWIW in the U.S. my rhinoplasty with cartilage from my septum was around 8k and Korea will usually be cheaper than the U.S. x Jenna
I know a lot of them certainly CAN, however most people prefer an implant because it is cheaper and usually much smoother, so it isn't as heavily advertised. x Jenna
