hey,
I don't mean to scare you but from personal experience (2 rhinoplasties)
usually the nose should look nice right after they take off the bandages
then it either gets normal looking or uglier after the swelling goes down
so if you don't like the results after taking off the bandage
(especially when it comes to the tip projection)
that's a big uh-oh
I actually kinda liked my primary rhino after the bandages were off
but when the swelling went down.... it just went downhill from there
Hi I also had a super botched primary rhinoplasty
If you look closely at my pictures my nose was deviated too.
The implant was protuding my hump became worse and my primary doctor cut my alars and tip too short that my cartilage was showing.
I suggest you try and go to CJ clinic for consultation and see if the doctor could help you with your problem. The doctor is an expert when it comes to revisional rhinoplasty. It doesn't cost anything to stop by and check him out yourself. If you are not convinced with him you could just mark him off your list.
Read my thread for more details
Hope I could help
Hi,
I was recommended to do eyebrowlift instead of double eyelid surgery because I actually had double eyelids but my lids were just saggy.
I didn't go for the sugery because my primary goal was get my revisional rhinoplasty done.
I am definitely going back to Korea to get my eyes checked again.
Hi I had consultation with Dr. Cha Myung Kyu at wannabe clinic.
He really seems like a very good doctor.
He explained the in full detail the surgical procedure he would do on me and answered all of my questions with patience.
If it weren't for my super botched rhinoplasty I had beforehand I would have definitely went with him.
I was actually 95% sure that I was going to call them back and book and appointment with them the next day.
I would recommend this clinic if you are going to have primary rhinoplasty.
The clinic was very nice and clean and the staff were welcoming and friendly.
They quoted me 4000 dollars only for revisional rhinoplasty.
The doctor I went with was located directly at Apgujeong rodeo station. It is a very posh area where rich people go to shop.
My first impression upon entering the clinic was good. The clinic bright and very clean.
On the floor you could see a marble with the logo of Yale. I was like WOW. Yale? Seriously?
The nurse was very friendly too ,although she couldn't speak english, she really tried her best to assist us.
My first impression of the doctor was very good. I felt like I was meeting up with a long lost uncle. He was very warm but also professional at the same time.
The most unforgettable moment , which was also the factor that told me that "He is the one" was the first thing he said to me upon was sitting down in his office He said : "You are a very beautiful girl. I do not see anything wrong. What makes you unhappy about your face? How can I help you change that?"
Unlike other clinics I visited where they pointed out every flaw I had......
...... (this reply is too long i shall continue to write a full review about the clinic in a few days since I am now 3 months post op)
Here is the calling card of the doctor I hope this helps
I used contractubex
It's very good
90% of my scarring healed perfectly fine
The 10% not really because I was too lazy to put it on three times a days after the surgery for 6 months
It was basically my fault ☹️
They also sell it in korea and in the philippines
It's made in Germany and it it's really helpful
Hi you should check out wannabe clinic
It's located in Apgujeoung
I saw a korean guy walk out of there and he looked decent.
The doctor can speak english and he knew what he was talking about
Non foreigner taregeted clinics (local clinics) are cheaper
Revisional prices were around 4000 dollars that means first surgery is cheaper
L-shaped implants are prone to infections on the nasal tip
I had a doctor recommended it to me in Gangnam K- Beauty Clinic.
Saying it was the newest method in rhinoplasty and safer than I shaped implants
When I heard L-shaped I said "no" right away.
He also sounded inexperienced, like he didn't know what he was talking about.
I also had a gore-tex implant for 5 years
I didn't exprience any shrinkage but I had a hump on my nose.
When the doctor removed the implant he had a hard time extracting it, because it was stuck to my tissue.
Now I have a big wrinkle on my nose bridge caused by the pulling.
The doctor didn't find any hump inside my nose, he suspects that it was from the implant I had.
I'm planning to go next year.
I went to korea 3 months ago and I saw the braun clinic from outside.
It looked really nice and it was right at the apgujeong station exit.
My korean friend said hat braun is very popular amongst local but a bit pricey.
How about you? when are you planning to go?
I went there for consultation
The doctor I wanted to see was performing surgery
So i had to wait for 30 minutes
There were koreans who waited with me
One a mother with her child and another a guy
I was going to choose wannabe for my revisional rhinoplasty, because the doctor was nice and he sounded like he knew what he was saying
He also spoke english (not good but understandable)
They also gave me a very reasonal price ( maybe because I was with a korean friend)
The only reason why I didn't go with them is I found a surgeon who specializes in revisional rhinoplasty with more experience and who spoke perfect english (he went to yale).
Hi Finityyy
Could you tell me more please about your sisters fat graft?
How much was it?
And how were the results?
I'm interested in coming back to korea to do DES and fat graft but I read so many articles that the fat graft looks unnatural or lumpy
Thank you
I see a lot of good reviews about PS101 on this site only
