I was so nervous now.
I will go to korea in coming Jan and MVP is on my top list. T_T

i'm planning to go there in feb, first week.
but i heard korea has holiday on chinese new year, so i plan to go there january.
if u are planning to go there Feb, just a friendly reminder that there are Holiday on Feb 4,5 and 6.
Clinic will not open up on Public Holiday.

i'm also wondering for this.
since i want to do jaw surgery in korea, orthodontist in my country refuse to cooperate with surgeon from korea which is understandable because of language barriers and many other things.
As u know bracing will need to go clinic back and forth many times, i can't really do in korea for bracing. T_T

 

I'm also planning to go next year.
So here is my list about most important things i need to discuss with them.

1) explain them about your existing condition.
2) how you want to do (some ppl like natural meanwhile some like prominent work)
3) ask the doctor's experience before you go face-to-face consultation. (if you want to do rhino, make sure to inquire about the surgeon's experience in rhino, and do some researching for urself too)
4) highlight them if you've performed some surgery in the past (in my case, i have done in the past so i've prepared to bring my medical record too)
5) Ask the procedures how they will do. (to decide urself whether it is convenient for you or not)
6) Is there any risk? (side effect of surgery? )
7) recovery time?
8) any special care need after surgery?
9) and ofcoz the cost they will quote

if anything i missed out, please highlight. ^^

OMG. I was luring around this forum and want to find out cleft surgery because i am one of them.
Rather than cosmetic surgeon ,I'm finding the doctor who is experience in cleft surgery thus ur infor are so much useful for me.

Last month, i was having consultation with Dr Myung in korea and he suggested me to do teeth bracing or Jaw surgery first.
Most of the people said performing Jaw surgery is a big dangerous and difficult to get good result. for the teeth bracing , i need to spend more than a year.
So, i don't know what to do.
