I would suggest that you look for clinics that do hair transplants. Please do not have your forehead surgically reduced, the scars are horrible. Just have the hair transplanted from the back of your head. Check out this thread:

Don`t be stressed dear. You look good. Only thing I would recommend is hair transplant (Check out clinics offering FUE/FUT) to reduce your forehead. For the time being you can try out bangs to minimize the forehead, hth.

 

Actually he was more than clear when he discussed everything with Dr. Lee during his initial consultation, reminded him again at the pre-surgery consultation and just before he was they administered the GA on the day of surgery - 3X in total. Dr. Lee ignored his wishes and went overboard with the surgery, making changes which the patient had clearly stated that he didn`t want. On the contrary small changes are routine procedures for skilled surgeons but clearly Dr. Lee isn`t as skilled as he touts himself to be.

 

Mine was revision. I just needed my tip and bridge refinement. They convinced me that I would also need a midface augmentation so I also went for that - Biiig mistake. Everytime I tried to smile I looked like the joker. My midface looked like a lip job gone wrong. Just a mess all round.
If this is your primary please, please consider consulting other clinics. Dr. Lee only does pure rib cartilage rhinoplasty and you don`t need that for your primary.

 

I see your heart is set on VIP and no amount of pics will deter you. That is not a good result but if that is the kind of aesthetic you are going for then VIP is your clinic. For me a perfect rhinoplasty should look like:






Notice how the nose blends into their features? Everything is a perfect height - bridge, radix. Not overdone like VIP.

 

Don`t really like posting pics online but my result was exactly like Nante - unnaturally high radix, high brigde, long philtrum and uneven nostrils. here is an example:



I can assure you that you will hate your results from VIP clinic. Will this be a primary rhino or revision?

 

Hey. I have heard of Hanabi and also like the results but I hear surgey is under sedation which is scary lol, I wanna sleep and wake up when all is over. Dr. Jin has mixed reviews & I haven`t seen concrete results from anyone so I`m on the fence about him. Will def get in touch with Cocoline and The Plus, thanks for the tip.

Another VIP victim, welcome to the club. I also went to Lee and I have the same horrible results. I too miss my old nose. I wish I hadn`t been greedy and gone to VIP. Please be careful with gng. They use shadow doctors. Dr. Seong is their best rhinoplasty surgeon and he does a good job but I`ve read that he consults but they swap him out for a less experienced surgeon during surgery.

 

IKR. The breakout is rumoured to have been weeks ago but the Chinese govt. kept a tight lid on the news. I shudder when I think of how many chinese patients flew to Seoul for surgery and weren`t screened at the airport coz no one knew how serious the virus was.

I had gng on my bucketlist but crossed them out coz there are too many bad reviews. I know Dr. Seong is good but they use shadow doctors at gng. So you will probably have consultation with Dr Seong, pay the high price and on the day of the surgery they swap him for a less experienced doctor. Avoid gng. I`m looking for plastic surgeons who do specialise in reconstruction to do my revision. I`m researching hospitals because I think surgeons there will have more experience than cosmetic surgeons.

 

@Kathryrine Not much of an improvement after the revision. I have no idea what Dr. Lee supposedly improved during the revision.The deviation is worse after the revision, I have problems breathing. I sent them pics of the uneven nostrils but they claim it is just swelling but there is no swelling anymore. He only partially removed the grafts although I told him to remove it completely so I still can`t smile. My nose wasn`t affected when he removed the cartilage. The midface is supposed to lift the sunken midface but the results are unnatural. I don`t think it helped to make my tip pointy, my tip looks bulky and like a bird`s beak. Horrible results.

 

@Kathyrine no sagging. It looks ok. I`m also looking for a surgeon to do revision asap. They charged me only $1000 for GA when I went for revision.

 

@Kathyrine, Yes the rib cartilage that he used for the midface augmentation. Unfortunately he didn`t remove everything as I had requested him to and I still can`t smile properly. My smile is slightly better but not like before. I`m currently looking for a surgeon to redo all his work. Dr. Lee uses the rib graft as a base to build the columnella, that is why he insists on the midface augmentation. Dr. Lee has no sense of esthetic at all; his harmony surgery is ******** and doesn`t suit everyone. He has no idea how to balance and blend the features on the face.

 

This was also the problem I have after my surgery at VIP and even after the revision my bridge is still deviated and nostrils uneven. Dr. Lee`s work is just terrible.

Don`t fall for Dani & Chloe`s good cop/bad cop routine. They`ve perfected this game.
The revision improved very little or I suspect Dr. Lee didn`t do much. I`m currently looking for a rhino specialist to undo this mess but most surgeons are reluctant coz I had full rib.

 

omg I`m so sorry for you coz I`m going through the same ordeal after surgery at VIP. All I wanted was a bit of tip refinement and my bridge to be raised slightly. He went overboard - very high bridge, high radix, overprojected tip. Chloe and Joan talked me into doing a midface augmentation which made it even worse. The result is absolutely ridiculous and looks fake. I had a beautiful profile before now I look like I have a ski slope on my face. The midface augmentation made me look like a joker everytime I smiled. Of course they kept reassuring me that this was just the swelling and that everything would settle after sometime but all lies. 1.5 yrs post and still can`t smile, the results look unnatural, the nose is so hard, I can`t remember the last time I was able to blow my nose comfortably. Make sure Chloe and Mrs. Kim (the office manager) don`t gaslight you into paying for a revision. I have heard from other patients from VIP that they also had results they didn`t ask for and they tried to charge them for the revision but they refused and only paid for the GA. The audacity of this clinic! I`m beginning to think they give these kind of results so that they can charge people for the revision.

 

Nothing. You have a nice youthful face, perfectly balanced out. Maybe a few skin treatments - exfoliation, hydrate your skin more.
