Ah.. revision and rib cartilage are procedures they charge extra... But I'm sure you can bargain at f2f consultation (that's what I learned). Even when bargain down I think it's gonna be more expensive than normal rhino/silicone. Buy that's really way too expensive !!

Oh yes I wanted to ask how far apart was it between your eye surgery and facial contour ? I was wondering if it's possible to go under local/sedative and general anesthesia within a span of a few days or back to back.

Hello. I've done my surgery there a year ago. I had a bulbous tip rhinoplasty with hump reduction. My result was very very natural and pretty. My complex was fixed and my side profile is pretty much perfect and super natural. Nobody could tell I had anything done, not even my relative, friends, brothers and sisters. They provide translation there but I'm sure their translators are working with Seoul Guide Medical. I didn't go with the agency, I went alone but they still provided me with translators. It's a small clinic with promising results. Only thing was that when I was consulting with Dr. Choi min, it felt really rushed. Literally went in, he was like.. "what you want?" And I told him my concerns, then he write down notes , touch my nose for a second, took pics from diff angles, blow it up on his computer and photoshop it (ya just like the videos in YouTube) and then asked if I like it or not... Didn't suggest anything more or less. Whole process was so quick that I felt like I had to see him again before I went in for operation ... which one of the consultant has promised me cos I wanted to show Dr. choi a picture of my desired nose to confirm we were on the same page BUT I DIDN'T. I was knocked out on the surgery table without even seeing him another time lol not even a peek. Then I realize that whole experience was diff than what I saw on YouTube but anyways surgery was great , there was no pain at all. I didn't feel any discomfort other than dry mouth cause Korea is so dry and you have to breathe with your mouth for a week. Barely any aftercare (so I can't comment on aftercare cause I didn't experience it) they said once I felt better, I can go down , pick up meds and go home. I came back for check up a day later for some antibiotic shots or something and clean the incision area. Was not painful at all not even when stitches were taken out on 7th day. I think it must be something to do with long lasting numbing shots (?) I don't know. ANYWAYS, I must add.. his stitching is so perfect. So beautifully stitched. I think from that I could tell hes a perfectionist. The stitching was so perfect that I didn't need scar cream or anything like that at all after surgery. Incision area was pretty much invisible after stitches were off.
They charge me 6.8k USD for my surgery. I didn't bargain cause I'm stupid but I should have. I was scared lol. I think that's quite expensive for rhinoplasty compared to other clinics I see other people go to. But you know, what you pay for it's what you get so yea no regret
The reason why I went with them was because I was looking for a clinic that have natural results. I was sold with all his b &a pictures. I didn't bother booking other clinics for consultation, I was set with them and that's that. I trusted him before even meeting him (bad idea, should always meet doc before deciding). It was my first ever plastic surgery so I went with my guts yea.

You can download apps like babitalk, gangnam sister, beautysocial to look for the results you wish to achieve. Every clinic deliver different results and styles. Everyone have different opinion so look at the review/before and after pictures to find out what's suitable for you. This is your face so it is important that you are choosing somewhere that is able to provide what you are hoping to achieve.
Once you picked out a few clinics, feel free to update your thread here and I'm sure you will get feedback. -
At 2 weeks I was okay with my nose though I still had some bruising but its not noticable after makeup.
The nose by then will be presentable but still feel swollen and sensitive so still be careful and not touch it too much. Picking your nose will be a task you will feel scared to do
You still have to sleep elevated cause laying down will cause swelling. -
Can you go under local/sedative and general anesthetsia in a span of a few days?
I'm planning to get two things done this trip and I went them at seperate clinics since they both require proper skills. One is minor surgery (alar reduction) and one is major (3 type facial contour). -
Ah I'm considering alar plasty but I'm so scared to get scar
do you think the scar is due to lack of skill or it is perfectly normal to have scarring after alar reduction?

She went in to consult and she insisted that she thinks she needs to have the fat in her eyelid taken out and then do double eyelid surgery but they told her she didn't need the fat taken out. They did her surgery, it looks fine at first but a year or two later one of her double eyelid almost disappeared due to the fat on her eyelid which caused her eyelid to sag down. So now she has uneven eyes and need revision...
She also did lipo there and results were bad. She had black ... Bruise... Birthmark looking thing on body and thank God she can cover with clothes but whenever anyone ask she says it's a birthmark. It never went away. I'm not sure what it is or what caused it. Also her lipo did absolutely nothing for her. She said it was money wasted cause the area didn't even get slimmer. She told me the doc aren't allow to take out more than a certain amount of fat or something but I see a lot of other people with same size as her with great results so idk what happened.
She also did vline. Her face looks prettier however she suffering from saggyness and fat on her neck and double chin area so she needs to go get facial lipo and lifting aswell.
All her surgeries turned out bad and she paid a lot for them -
Hello, I think the best way to get your answer is to send your pictures in for online consultation. You get professional feedback. Everyone here is just going to sugar coat their words cause it's inhumane to tell a stranger they should get something done if ones not in that field of work lol.

I suggest you to book in person after face to face consultation because that way you have more advantage towards price negotiation. You should also visit a few clinics before deciding one because prices could vary. Online consultations are just references but your impression may change when you visit the clinic yourself. That's what I usually experienced. They offer higher on emails too. Do your research , book a few consultation at diff places on the same day and you can decide which clinic AFTER talking to the surgeons. Usually they are able to book you for surgery the next day especially for eyes.

Thank you for such a detailed update! Gyalumhan seem to take care of their patients very well~ You are so lucky! This will be super helpful to me so I know what i should look for. From your good experience with Madeyoung, I am now even more eager to go consult with them. They quoted me a fair price compared to DA but I hope that the prices remain the same after discovering i'm foreigner. The fact that you said they offer same price to locals made me feel better since DA has diff prices for foreigners than locals (they changed the price on me after I told them i'm not korean). I know it's unfair and well, clinics are known to do that... seems like i don't really have a choice if i like their results a lot. Perhaps by the time i attend the in person consultation, I will have a clearer idea of which clinic I want. Can't wait to see more updates! Wishing you speedy recovery!

Tip takes longest to deswell. Mine took over 6 months and everything is fine now however I don't have the case of alar restraction. Good luck!

It's not possible to not have any bruising at all from lipo. I heard lipo is very very painful and sore so keep that in mind I guess. To minimize bruising I used boiled egg
or heat pad. Hope that helps

Only deposit if you're 100% sure you want to do your surgery there. You are right, they may mark up prices however you still have some room for price negotiation on the spot. Let them know your budget.

MMy friend did her double eyelid at bano and now she needs a revision. One of her double eyelid sagged downwards !

I don't think they will allow you to do that. Usually they make you wait a few monthsmon get another surgery done to be safe from anesthetic.

Here are my before and after photos at 1 month post op. Also I forgot to mention, at each check up the doctor is ALWAYS available to look at your nose to make sure its healing properly.
(Above) 7th day post op, right after taking off cast. you can see there are still bruising.
1 month post off before and after.
You can see there was a hump. And lack of nose bridge between eyes.
I did hump reduction and bulbous nose tip correction.
Should I go to GNG or Answer Plastic Surgery for ptosis correction and rhinoplasty?
