  1. yea...the clinic gave me an insane quote... i don't even want to go for consultation anymore. i told them i needed an english translator and she's like "you can speak english with the doctor" etc.etc. Oh well...

  2. Hey! I haven't heard of Plan Plastic Surgery before. How did you decide on them? And could you let me know what your quote was? I'm looking to get full body lipo, facial lipo + fg, and can't decide between Pretty Body, LaPrin, and Fresh.

Also - I heard it's important to use Reston Foam for your abs so it won't have creases or get an ab board... not sure if those are used in korea...but that's what I saw online/youtube.

  3. i'm considering fresh for power v lifting/facial lipo/FG too because i really like their before and afters... could you link me to the bad reviews?? now i'm reconsidering ):

  4. what about 45 angle and profile? sometimes it's more obvious from the side, like your cheeks don't puff out as much~ i'm considering laprin as well but i want to do facial lipo in place of contouring - would definitely want noticeable results and a sharp jawline.

  5. I couldn't find some English websites for clinics I like so I reached out to them on their Chinese Wechat. Oh no! I'm not Chinese though - but I can kind of speak it - do you know more about this policy?? I don't want to ruin chances for better prices T_T

  6. thigh lipo, facial lipo + fat graft, and maybe fat graft to my boobs!

Check out Appeal (sometimes I see it as AP Clinic) and Namu for eyes! I really like the results of Appeal but soooo hard to find reviews in English.

  7. Not sure if this post is allowed..if not, moderator please delete, sorry!

Looking for travel buddies to rent an airbnb with who are going to south korea for PS in mid-May to early June.

    My plan:
    Arrive 5/15
5/16-5/17 F2F Consultations (book a hotel just for consultations) - decide on a clinic
5/18 check in to airbnb close to chosen clinic
5/18-5/19 shop for essentials (pumpkin juice, tissue, water, porridge); go shopping! and eat my heart out!
5/20 Surgery (ideally...or sometime that week)

My short list of clinics is still kind of long but I really can't decide as of now. If we have similar ones, maybe we can get a better deal

    Fresh PS
    LaPrin
    Reyeon
    UVOM
    The Line Clinic
    Pretty Body Clinic
    Yumastem Clinic

Feel free to message me on KKT: danibabyy

  8. did you end up getting lipo done? considering for may and would love to know more!

  9. Could you send me the list of local clinics please? I've been compiling a list too and trying to find the ones that are popular with locals.

  10. A lot of the clinics I talk to offer 20-30% discount if you write an honest review or let them use before and after. Some clinics are famous for hiking up their prices and cutting it after. I saw someone play the poor student card. But be realistic? For me, if it's too discounted and cheap, I start to worry LOL It's also easier to bargain if you go during off season (before the students and office people have long breaks). Have a budget in mind and work with your consultant to do what you can with that budget.

  11. Hrm a lot of your questions are already answered on this forum if you did a quick search or on google.

    2) Message each clinic on Line or Kakao and get an online consultation with them on your own because each case is different. Most of them have English translators. If DFK already sent your info to those clinic, just use to a fake name. My experience is that it's cheaper working directly with the clinic.

    3) If you're using DFK, you can negotiate stay with them. And some clinics offer complimentary stay.

    4) The clinics are all generally in the same area but if you're going to book a hotel for your stay, book it close to your clinic. If you don't know which clinic you'll choose, book a hotel for two days (one night) and do your consultations. When you choose where you wanna go, book a hotel close to the clinic. You're gonna wanna be close for post-op check ups.

    6) I'm going in May - so I personally wouldn't want to walk around even if I'm not sleepy lol. It's going to be really hot and the last thing I want is to sweat and get an infection.

    7) It depends on what results you're looking for? Natural/minimal, dramatic/dolly...etc. DYOR! You can always bring a pic of what you like and show the doctor but at the end of the day, what looks good on someone else, won't necessarily fit your face. Be very precise on what you want to change and don't just go off of doctor recommendations because sometimes they'll push things you don't need.

    8) I'm bringing my boyfriend lol and my friend in Korea is going to meet me up. From what I know, DFK is really helpful but they're not going to go have dinner with you or chat with you alllll day in the hotel room etc. The few days after surgery is the worst because you'll be so swollen and start freaking out that you botched your face. Probably a good idea to have someone you trust tag along to calm yourself down

  12. Hi forumers! Was wondering those who've gone through with surgery and are recovering, if you feel like you are suffering from memory loss (specifically long term) after going under? Even though the physical effects of the drug wear off in a day, the drug stays in your system for about a week. I've been doing some research about the different types of anesthesia for procedures and I'm a little worried. A few clinics offer sleep anesthesia, GA, IV drip... I'm getting so confused on all the different types...

  13. PM'd you back! I'm thinking of getting everything done around mid-May. I haven't looked at Evita yet, let me check them out! Are they known for liposuction?

  14. If any of you have experience with Pretty Body Clinic, Namu, UVOM, or Yujin, please share! Namu has a decent English site and I've seen some reviews here but not a lot of BA. I found PBC, UVOM and Yujin while digging through Chinese and Korean beauty forums. They have great reviews but I'm still wary of fake reviews. These seem to be popular clinics in Asian communities but their English sites are a little wonky... Any help would be great!

I'm planning to get liposuction on thighs and arms, maybe back depending on price. And PRP FG and accusculpt on face. So I'm looking for a clinic that's great with fat manipulation and knows how to work a face lol Preferably one that understands Western sense of beauty too. I want that slim thick look ;)

I'm planning to make a trip to Seoul in mid-May, spend two days doing consultations and get my surgeries done. Bringing a native Korean friend with me to see if they'll be more willing to negotiate.

  15. Ok. My head hurts from all the research and back and forth but I've narrowed down my clinics to five of them. Literally went on all these Chinese and Korean versions of PF and translated/read everything. Found a couple clinics really popular in the Chinese community and reached out on WeChat for quotes. Curious to see if they get a different price than Western foreigners. Still waiting for their replies but here's what I got:

If any of you have experience with Pretty Body Clinic, Namu, UVOM, or Yujin, please DM me! I couldn't find much on PBC, UVOM or Yujin clinics and their English sites are a little wonky... I saw really great reviews on various Korean and Chinese sites. But I'm so scared of fake reviews. Any help would be great, thank you!

  16. YES PLEASE!! I'm from SF, live on the Peninsula! I'm thinking of going to Korea in May to get consultations and preferably surgery too but I can't decide on a clinic. I might do what you did and fly there twice...
