  1. Part 2: The Face Dental, I have been soo blessed to have a good life, no complaints on missing out on anything..but after I had a child, I started to feel unattractive. Even though I got back to my old size fairly quick I started nit picking on my facial features. Which sounds terrible, and I felt guilty bc I should be giving all my attention to my baby. Could this be a post-pardom type of depression idk.. My cheekbones made my upper face look so wide and i started having hollow area under my eye. Now i really wanted to avoid pictures After lurking Real Self i accidentally came across Mau's rv and it got me so interested in going to SK to retry FC once again. This time the really invasive one.. As scary as it sounded and completely out of character for me to go to a foreign country so far away to do something crazy, not speaking the language, bad w/direction, was a huge risk for me. But my motivation took me there bc I needed a good change to help my self-esteem. Late-mid 2018, I took a trip to SK to meet Dr. Lee at TFD. I decided to get full FC. This time going all the way with actual shaving. I had many concerns as I was older than his typical patients, I didn't want sagging. My jaw was not big, but my cheek and chin was wide. So we came up with a plan to achieve noticeable but natural results. Ended up doing zygo, jaw and genio w/ sliding. Paid around 7.5k usd. The recovery was brutal, I had no idea what I was in for. I sure didn't heal fast like Mau. Maybe i was unprepared. I handled the GA fine no nausea, just hard to stay awake for 3 hours and not being allowed to eat or drink until the passing zone. Pain was bearable, just felt pressure and headache that went away after few hours. It was more discomfort than pain I'd say. I swelled up pretty bad immediately. My lips were soo krazy big and swollen I couldn't feel them and keep biting them by accident. Dr. Lee said I swelled worse than his avg patients. I also developed bruises on my face that turned deep purple and took a month to go away The results this time I would say were good but ofc it wasn't perfect. I seem to get unlucky when it comes to PS! My face line became smoother and i had a slimmer better structure facially and many people assumed i lost weight bc it wasn't soo dramatic. I def felt I looked better but something was off for me, and that was my chin. Also needed to fill in the hollow areas above my eyes. Dr. Lee's clinic does not do anything but teeth, bone, and simple lipo FYI. My chin looked over-projected, long masculine and bulky and i realized i never needed sliding genio and also didn't know it was going to enlongate my chin. I was really bothered by it and realized, never had a short chin just wide. I still think Dr. Lee is a great doctor with good ethics, and he can make any face look better, but perhaps the communication or observation of my before status was not on point. I spoke to him back in forth about my concerns and probable revision in which he agreed to do for a fair price. I guess i was going to make another big trip to SK again..
  2. Hi All, Just wanted to share my long FC exp. Its been a journey so I don't think i can make it short and sweet .. I always had wide cheekbones protruding lateral not frontally, and wide chin. Got teased since toddlerhood for having big face from parents/relative and definitely grew up with a bit of a complex. My face did not go well with my petite athletic frame. I never thought to have fc surgery growing up bc I felt it was so invasive and sounded scary to me plus having no support from friends/family to do this at the time, I don't want to be judged or thought of as insecure. And honestly, I didn't know there was even such thing as FC, I don't think it was heard of until later.. In 2007, I decided to do something about my cheekbones and found a doctor in LA, Dr. Charles Lee from Enhance Med, that seem to specialize in asian beauty. I got suckered in to do a "push-in method" cheekbone reduction and lipo at lower cheeks area. I went for it bc it didn't sound that invasive and I really wanted a smaller slimmer face. I spent 11K, swelled like a pumpkin for over a month and the result was ineffective, NOT worth it, no change! Maybe 10%, change if that. Mind you, at the time internet search on PS was not very advanced. I was pretty ashamed of the whole ordeal. That was soo much money to me, I was young and I really wanted to forget it ever happened..My secret fail! I then, had a negative feeling about PS and didn't dabble into it again til many years later..
