Dr Kim at Deesse is great, I had my cheek implants done with him last month and hes a really great dr!
Experienced but also a very nice person, highly highly recommend him!

(btw he is the only facial contouring dr at Deesse)

 

So botox isn't permanent, but as for the fat injections, whatever fat cells are killed, are permanently destroyed. Of course it doesn't stop you from gaining it back if your caloric intake is too high lol

 

facial contouring injections are another name for fat dissolving injections =) i had fat injections in the buccal pad area and also in the jaw line area. I was super impressed by both results especially the buccal pad area! I've got a really nice contour now =)

Hi all, this review is about my experience at Girin plastic surgery clinic. I went two weeks ago which is when my results are at their best. I had forehead, chin, lip corner, eye wrinkle botox, jaw botox and also facial contouring injections. There isn't much to say about the botox, I got what I wanted and the Dr was really experienced with injecting, I've gotten alot of injections in the past and I could tell she knew exactly what she was doing which put my mind at ease. What stood out to me the most was the facial contouring injections and jaw botox. The effects are amazing, I look much slimmer from frontal view, jaw is much more defined and my cheek area is nicely sculpted. Their prices were also really good, like other clinics in Korea- korean brands of fillers and botox are way cheaper than in the west. The clinic itself was really clean and smart looking, but I didnt get time to look around since I was seen immediately, no waiting times whatsoever, they were really fast and efficient which was really refreshing after being at other clinics which had really long waiting times. The staff were really beautiful, polite and funny too- i had alot of laughs in my appointments. The translator and the consultant especially were so friendly and helpful. And went out of their way to make sure they knew exactly what I wanted.

The only downside of my trip to Girin was the elevator that the building shared, it was sooooo busy lol! But that doesnt really count does it~

Hi madam butterfly!! There's a lot of speculation around fillers causing sagging. There's a lot of things to consider when answering this question. The two most important things I'd take into consideration is the age of the patient and how much filler he/she is getting. Younger people have more collagen and their skin is more elastic which would make it unlikely for fillers to cause sagging. UNLESS! They are getting a lot of filler which the skin will then naturally stretch to accommodate the newly added volume. Again this doesn't necessarily mean sagging will occur. In my opinion it is the constant top ups of filler to the skin which would cause the skin to sag. Since the skin would constantly be stretched and then let loose over and over again. This is why I personally prefer cheek implants over cheek filler~ cheek implants can make your cheek appear more voluminous by adding internal structure rather than increasing soft tissue mass (the true cause of sagging) hopefully this helps~

 

Naw, im sorry to hear you're not entirely satisfied with your results. I hope that perhaps your results will become better as swelling goes down. Do you think your results would've been any different if you went to a different clinic? Or do you think Dr Hong didn't listen to your requests enough?

 

I'm getting lip corner lift and I am after extreme lifting, the joker effect you might call haha. Are your corners lifted to your satisfaction considering you wanted a natural result?

Im actually seeing Hyundai clinic for this exact surgery in three weeks so im glad ive stumbled upon our review. I'm sorry to hear about your somewhat negative experience with Hyundai! I had a similar experience at a clinic where the staff were speaking right next to me not knowing i understood what they were saying (Talk about awkwarddd). You must've had a translator called Sky right? She seemed really nice during online consults~ How was Dr Hong? Did he not demonstrate what your lips would look like after surgery??

 

My after care was meh. The translators are the best part of my whole experience there they were so nice. The nurse administered some swelling shots and antibiotics i assume they were two times i think if i can remember correctly, other than that, the post op checkups were rushed and i was waiting a bit each time. To be honest none of this would've have bothered me if the Dr did a good job on my nose. I dont really care that he was kinda 'dead' and lifeless. Its the fact that I'm botched after two surgeries (primary and revision) with Dr Choi that annoys me. And yes he did the computer morphing thingy with me. But guess how it turned out...

 

I've had surgery with Dr Choi as well. Twice! One primary rhinoplasty and one revision. I agree, aftercare was rubbish, consultation was rubbish, doctor seemed dead but worst of all, I'm having to have a third rhinoplasty somewhere else. The translators though were absolutely amazing! They're the only good part of my trip to Answer. Don't always trust a clinic because its 'smaller' people please!

yes you sure can! Surgeons do often put intensive care patients under general anesthesia for surgeries several times a week during recovery (e.g- burn victims) Anesthesia nowadays is generally really safe!

yes he consulted me personally on line too! i found it so helpful to actually talk to the dr rather than just a consultant! cant wait for my surgery with VG in February!

 

Yay! Yeah the clinic seems to take pride in safety which I love. And the consultant is so nice! She didn't pressure me into getting anything I didn't need or want! Hope your consult goes well
