  1. Did she sue the surgeon from where she lives or does she live in the same country aa the surgeon? She must have gotten herself a good lawyer as it is often hard to find a law firm that can take on a medical malpractice case that occured abroad. You should share to us how she went about it.

  2. Meaning I don't know how it would look. I have no idea what the failed procedure is like. Does it make your cheeks sunken, asymmetrical etc rather than just saggy? Cause if it does, a facelift could deal with the saggyness but heighten the sunken look cause it pulls the skin. I think facelift is good if your only problem is sagging and the FC itself was a success. But if the FC is failure then implants are the most likely solution depending on the case. Like if only the jaw angled were cut then that can be a good case for jaw angle implants. I'm no even sure about the chin cause like mine it was advanced. I'm not sure if it will have to be pushed back screwed then implants put in.

  3. Yeah I can see what your issue is. I'd suggest not to go to the same clinic or surgeon. If they can't do it right the first time what makes you think they can the second time round? I'd just go see a top rhino specialist where you live. Look for one that has done a lot of revisions - this is critical. If you're in the US maybe consult with Paul Nasif who features in Botched. He fixed so many botched rhinos before and most of them if not all look great afterwards. He is worth travelling for I believe.

  4. It was a male to female transgender patient who went to Deschamps Braly in San Francisco for the initial procedure. She was very happy in the beginning but after a few months her skin started to sag. So she went to see another surgeon in the US for a facelift and she is now very happy. I think the jaw and chin reduction were done well but due to the lack of support her facial tissues started to sag.

  5. Have you reported this to your surgeon? 6 months in, you shouldn't be severely swollen. If anything you should only have minimal swelling or more like residual swelling as at 6 months mark you are close to your final result. I would recommend seeking a second opinion with an oral and maxillofacial surgeon or craniofacial surgeon locally after lockdown is lifted. It sounds like your facial tissues are drooping because of the lack of support. I've read a couple of posts on Realself where a patient had jaw and chin reduction and they ended up with very saggy skin. They went to a triple board plastic and craniofacial surgeon but for whatever reason she ended up with sagging skin. She had a facelift with another surgeon and it solved her issues. Another thing is it could also be scarring but if it feels like actual skin and soft tissues then yeah it is sagging and you may need a facelift.

  6. I mean it is not commonly performed unlike chin implants. Besides there aren't a lot of people who would get jaw reduction until about recently with the hype of V line. Jaw surgery on the other hand is usually only performed on people with problems with their bite and/or misalignment of their jaws - it is more of a functional issue than anything else. I would be wary of H Plastic Surgery. Not a lot of western doctors use the same tecnhnique or materials as he does that it is very risky. Someone here said they had survery with him and it failed.

  7. Whatever face shape you have is the shape you should love. Yes you can have V line but it doesn't always go right and there's that what if it goes very wrong. Forget cost, you can always make money and if you don't want to continue spending on botox then leave your face alone. I am now on the other side of the fence and honestly, I wish I can go back to how I was before surgery. I now have many years to come to live with a face shape I do not like and recognise. It's torture for me everyday. Unless you have jaws and chin bigger than a man then yes take the risks otherwise no. And I think there are very few surgeons who actually care about helping people since most see patients as bags of money. It is a luxurious lifestyle for surgeons so money makes them greedy and lose all human empathy.
