Hi, I live in Busan and am looking to have lower blepharoplasty over my winter break from school.

I had a consultation with DH Plastic Surgery. The consultation lasted only about 15 to 20 minutes. The surgeon felt under my eyes and laughed that the skin was so thin. She went on to say that I would need the blepharoplasty, fat grafting and another procedure to try to prevent the sides of my eyes from drooping after the procedure (I can't remember the name of the procedure).
The rest of the consultation was spent with her asking where I lived because she is looking for an English tutor for her daughter. I asked if the procedure would work or if it would change the shape of my eyes and she said it wouldn't change the shape of my eyes.
I then spoke with the girl who greeted me on arrival (I think she is Russian) about the cost. I really like this girl and felt more comfortable speaking with her than the surgeon. My decision to trust this clinic is basically because she works there. I didn't really care for the surgeon's attitude towards me.
I was quoted 1.5m for all 3 procedures and they also offered a discount of 200. Is this a good price? I thought it would be much more, to be honest.
I went to have a consultation with another clinic afterwards but they kept me waiting for 40 minutes, so I left without speaking with a surgeon.
So, I guess I'm looking for advice on whether to just go ahead with DH Plastic Surgery because I can communicate well with the girl who works there, or if I should try to meet with surgeons in different clinics. I'm almost 40 and I'm not even sure if the procedure to get rid of my eye bags will work or not.
Please help.

To be honest it is probably best to do it in Seoul as obviously most of the best doctors will go there because that is where they will get the most customers. I think it depends on why you have eye bags. If it just looks like its due to a lack of fat then it would probably be better to try fillers first to see if it works well.

Thanks for your reply! My eye bags are hereditary and they've become really bad in the past few years. It's all I see when I look in the mirror and I can't stand it anymore. I can't get fillers as apparently the skin around my eyes is too thin.
Unfortunately, due to costs and time restraints, I can't go to Seoul for this procedure. Do you think I'm at a disadvantage having it done in Busan? I'm finding it difficult to get information on other surgeries in Busan and there are very few reviews on any of them.

Im sure that there would be some surgeons in busan who can perform this surgery and give you the results that you want but obviously it would be easier to find a surgeon that you are confident with in Seoul. I've never had a lower blepharoplasty done but from what I see usually fillers/fat grafting is best for sunken eye bags and a lower blepharoplasty is best for protruding eye bags.

Thank you. I think I'll probably just go ahead with DH. I'll maybe go back for a second consultation to ask what results I should realistically anticipate. Thanks for your help!
