Also, had you also considered donated rib for your bridge instead of taking your own? how was your absorption / warping? and do you have any advice on things to buy or prepare in advance of the rib surgery? I am nervous about making a wrong choice and would also love and advice if anyone who has been through rib rhino (either self or donated for bridge) could share some experiences! thanks so much! I’m currently tossing up between using donated rib or my own - I was told that using donated would be much dearer in terms of cost, another dr told me it’d cost more to harvest my own, so I’ve been receiving conflicting information on which material to use (both doctors are board certified). Did your surgeon dice your rib? Have you found any warping or resorption as yet? Hope you’re recovery went well and you’re happy with the results!
