I had full face microlipo which is when a cannula is used to remove fat/fillers all over the face. I went for microlipo as I had fillers that made my face too big and decided that microlipo would be the best option for me. Hope this helps. gmcnm19 Posted April 18, 2020 Share Posted April 18, 2020 I think buccal fat is the fat on your cheek hollow only while facial lipo can be anywhere like the cheeks, chin, neckline and jawline. With buccal fat removal they make incisions inside and remove it (like taking the whole piece/fat pad out?) while for facial lipo the fat is vacuumed(?) out. Sorry IDK the right word.
