i think his nose looks pretty unnatural. it mainly looks bad between his eyes. you can see the crease on the top of the implant where it begins (if he really does have an implant as it appears). it doesn't blend well into his forehead. it looks better in some pictures than others. i don't like how it looks in the pictures i found below.

it looks better in this picture but the edges on the implant in between his eyes are still prominent on the side:

does it look like he could've had eyelids done as well?

I thought that he may have done his eyes as well but I can't tell and don't know what to look for in people who had eyelid surgery. He has a parallel crease but don't know if that's natural or not.

Maybe I'm nit-picking, but I think I can see the edge of his implant above his tip?

I wonder if he'll ever see these posts about him?

asin what did your nose looked like before? i think the hardness on the tip is mainly the ear cartilage.. if you pinch your ear cartilage its kinda hard.

i did an experiment with my boyfriend (hes white) and my nose. his tip is tuff like our ear cartilage where as mine is all soft. you may not be used to it. dont stress over it asin, itll heal better if your not depress !

every1 is regreating their surgery! which rlly makes me worriedd. i dont wana be in your guys situation after surgeryy

Omg. I'm just completely breaking down I don't knwo what to do I leave korea tomorrow. I got goretex but it's not going to go down that much and the doctor said I don't have any swelling......... but my nose is huge. I'm only 21 I was so pretty before and now I want to vomit every time I see myself in the mirror. I don't know what to do I'm so scared I"m just crying alone in my room I don't even want to go out. I have such delicate features and then suddenly theres this high nose I look so so so hideous. I do'nt know why he did that. I can't stop crying please tell me what to do.....

Yea he had a nose job done. You guys are so kind with your words, cos it looks pretty damn badly done. I think he had his eyes cut too. Guys borned with parallel lids don't look like that.. they look more like this

wow i just saw the pics vanny posted up. I didn't know michelle reis had her nose done. It's kinda fake looking.. and raymond lam did his nose and eyes, 100% on that.

Anyone watches japanese dramas here? Most of their actors/actresses have superb noses, and very bright big eyes.. Lovely. I wonder if it's all natural.. though when my friend was in japan, he said most of the average joes on the street have high bridges naturally, unlike most asians. =|

He's definitely had something done to his nose. Like his tip seems smaller and less wide.

my nose before was smaller and rounder. it had decent height; my main problem with it was that it was wide at the base and my nostrils flare. the tip of my nose and the columnella are rock hard right now.

i was actually born in hong kong and grew up up watching HK movies, and i'd never realized all those HK stars had PS done. i've always thought michelle reis was SO gorgeous, and i'd always assumed she was all natural.

it's funny cause now that i've had a nose job, i am always looking for signs of work on other asian women. it is actually really common! i live in las vegas and see a lot of asian female card dealers, and it seems like 15% of them or more have had nose jobs. maybe i'm just nitpicky, but many of them look poorly done. there's one dealer whose nose goes straight from her forehead down to the tip with almost no curve at all! i wonder if her nose job is fairly recent and she's still swollen. i've seen a few other dealers with weird piggy noses possibly from poorly done L implants. they are all older so their nose jobs could have been done a long time ago.

mmmaggie, how many days has it been since your surgery? i could've written that myself... i feel the same way about my nose job. i used have a cute/pretty face and now the new big crooked nose has taken away from it. if you are still really early post op you have to give it some time... i did see a difference between 1 week post op and 3 weeks post op. you're definately not alone in this right now. if things don't get better and you decide you don't like your new nose you can always get a revision. i hate the idea of having to spend more money, time, and energy on this, but that is my way out.

It takes at least a month for the swelling from a goretex implant to diminish. A few months back, another forum member who recently had goretex implanted on her bridge from Dr. Jung also was freaking out about it being too high. Eventually the swelling went down after a month. How long has it been since the surgery? Who was your doctor?

Most Asians of northern descent (Mongolia, Northern China, Russia, Korea, Japan) naturally have higher and narrower noses compared to Asians from the South.

A quote from Dr. Lee's website (www.asiancosmeticsurgery.com) regarding nostril narrowing.

The need for nostril narrowing varies depending on the country of origin. Contrary to popular opinion, nostril narrowing is not generally required for patients whose ancestry traces to Northern Asia – perhaps 15% need narrowing. The need for narrowing is more common in Southern Asians.

As a teen, I used to watch Hong Kong TV Serials with Korean subtitles. My family and friends would all comment on how much the actors and actresses looked Korean (light skin, squarish faces, korean-like noses). I never thought that they had any surgery. I always thought that most actors from Hong Kong were mixed with Caucasion blood (3/4 Chinese + 1/4 Caucasian) since it was a British colony. I definitely know Cecilia Cheung and Edison Chen are 1/4 Caucasian and they look Korean to me....oh and Bruce Lee, but he doesn't look Korean.

asin,
The problem that you felt you had with your nose sounds like me. Except I didn't really have a problem with the flare in my nostrils. I had a really funny nose where my bridge was an okay height, but when you came to my tip and nostrils it almost looks like there was a gap and then came my big tip...When I went looking for a ps all I wanted to do was fix the tip and that was all, then the surgeon and the lady that does computer imaging here told me that I need augmentation and showed me what they use, I almost fainted as I had never heard of such a thing before..How are you feeling about your nose now? I saw your pictures and thought that you nose looks beautiful, but I also understand what you are going through as it's a very delicate time and it's almost like getting my nose done has made me more selfconcious than before...
By the way what did you get done to your nose? Did you get a silicone implant? I hope you are feeling better.

mmmaggie,

I also hope you are feeling better, and just wanted you to know that you are not alone in your feelings as mine are like a rollercoaster, somedays I feel good somedays I feel like I want to just run and hide...I am 3 wks post op now and still feel the same I hope these feelings go. I hope you feel a bit better, what keeps me optimistic is that my ps told me that in 6mths I will see the real results so just try and stay positive. I know it's hard, you are not alone, and we are always here to support eachother.
