Hi everyone who has done Rhinoplasty...

Is it normal that u can feel the top of the implant from a rhinoplasty? I can feel mine a bit... but u cant see it...

Furthermore, is it okay when ur boyfriend kisses u and touches ur nose with his... u know... u can't almost avoid it when u kiss somebody... will it "damage" ur nose?

Hey kel, been kissing alot lately hey heehee.. maybe you should just tell your bf to be alittle careful when he does kiss you :P I would def tell mine to tilt his head move if he wants one!!

exoticasian, If I wanted a breat enlargement I'd probs do it in my home country, only because if anything does goe wrong I can quickly sort it out instead of flying over to middle east and get it sorted. Ive heard horror stories of some breat implants and if you go to hospital or your doctor they have NO sympathy at all for you because they think its self inflicted and you're taking up people with life threatening situations.. sad but true
I have considered it, but again like the asian nose I guess our breasts are different to western ladies!!

Hi Meowgirl:smile:

Thank u for the answer... The problem is more... I dont have a boyfriend... but if I... or I mean when I get one, can I do the kissing without being nervous about my nose? Cuz I dont really wanna tell every boy I meet that I have undergone Rhinoplasty... if u know what I mean...Hmm... I also have a little "bump" inside my right nostril... is that normal? My nose looks normal from the outside...

hmm... im sure when your nose is healed it should be ok, alot of people have nose jobs done, doesnt stop them from kissing. Obviously the longer you leave to heal the better :P Besides if a bloke does squash your nose that badly when he kisses you then he must be super fierce - then just give him a slap HAHA

bump? hmm, I guess thats one for maskd or someone else whos had it done, maybe even better to contact your surgeon if it doesnt go away for piece of mind.

berry1,

my nose is still swollen. the tip is. The doctors say that for most people the tip is the last to deswell.

at 1.5 weeks, you will look ok to strangers. but to people who know you from before, not even close accomplices they will notice a much bigger nose due to swelling.

I think it takes at least a good 3 weeks for people who don't know you well to not notice a difference.

My boyfriend for some reason does NOT notice... but I think he is the ONLY one... weird... as I do kiss him, and the tip of my nose is HARD right now, and he doesn't notice....

People at my work, some of which who I do not see often, remarked on me looking different. At first, they didn't want to be rude to me and say, "your nose looks big." But, I can tell that's what they thought. My job does not require me to be in the office all the time...
At one month, my nose looks very similar to before except with a higher bridge. The tip is still swollen, but getting smaller week by week. The doctor says it will take 3 months before you can see the final result for the entire thing. The bridge only takes 1-2 weeks to show.
Although, if you are only doing the tip, I really don't know how long it takes to deswell... maybe shorter?

Kel,
Bump? Is it smooth? If not, it may just be some stitches that clustered together because the nose is not so clean inside, and you can't REALLY clean it. If it's even slightly smooth, you may want to go check it out...

lol... haha... I wear D's and if I wear it fitted right (according to bra specialist), I wear 30-32DD... kinda runs in half of my family. The receptionist at Dr. Chuang asked if mine were real...
her's are done pretty well...

so... unfortunately, no... he will never notice... it's actually disappointing... makes me think he never looks at me enough to notice? I've been with him for 6 years!

eh... what am I whining about? It's good that he doesn't know.

For those who are thinking of getting breast implants... be aware that if you get them really big and you're slim, there will be a lot of clothes that you CAN'T wear afterwards, because you'll just end up super cheesy looking...

The bad thing about boob jobs is that you'll have to get at least a second operation around ten yrs down the line, unlike nose jobs. And trust me ppl, you wont want boobs too big....mine r 36D (they are real!) and U DO feel the weight esp when you're jogging or something. If I had the money to waste, I wd prob do a breast reduction! :P

Hey shoe girl,
Yeh, meowgirl and I are planning to go to asia in late oct/early nov cause the tickets are the cheapest then. And I feel during the cold season, its the best time for deswelling, also, thats just before the xmas holidays, so hopefully, the clinics wont be so busy. So if u can make it around then, be great to have u joining us!

I haven't decided where I want to go to redo my eyelids... I'm considering Korea if I can go with someone who knows Korean. Actually, I want to go to Korea just cuz I've never been there anyway.

So, yea... everyone please keep me in the loop of when you are going.
