twinnie
My eyes are 100% western, the eyelid is very deep, then I also have ptosis. Then I was told that in my case the procedures to follow are two: high fold and ptosis correction.
monalisa77
I tried going to INcheon airport Kbookstore but they didn't have free sim card. I just took my cellphone and use the free wifi for messaging service, browsing the net, etc.
monalisa77
I used Wooribank, there were 4 banks on the same side of my hotel. Tried each one and asked for the best FX rate. They all speak English. Then you just use calculator. Oh you'll see KB everywhere and the logo doesn't say BANK, nowhere it says bank, it just says KB in colorful yellow color. But it's a bank. muppets
Hey, Sorry I can't PM you, haven't posted enough yet. For me price and result are almost equal in terms of priority, so I struck off quite a few! From what I have gleaned the huge medical groups are a hit-and-miss because the quality differs vastly between surgeons, and the prices weren't low enough to justify either the low quality nor the seemingly bad post-op care. For individual surgeons, I liked the results of Dr de Silva and Dr Matti. Outside of the UK prices are supposed to be the least expensive in Hungary, Croatia, CR and less expensive in Belgium and France, and cheap in Tunisia and Egypt (was looking at francophone countries because knowing the language makes me feel a lot more safer instinctively) but the latter two seem never to get good reviews... The surgeons I emailed were specialised in rhinoplasty (which was what I was looking for) but for the clinics I emailed beauty in prague and laderma (about £2000 for blero and they provide transport/accommodation for an extra fee), and also beaucare in brussels. Gave up a while after because I figured it would cost about the same and I'd get better treatment in Korea anyway There are also quite a few UK-centric forums on the web (am I allowed to post links here?) like lookyourbestuk and some other forums like estheticon and realself, which have surgeons answering questions on the forum (got the list of surgeons off there, because I figured that since they created a public space for themselves they would be less likely to want to run any reputational risks). I found these to be really useful (though most people here seem to get BAs or lipos rather than facial stuff) and hopefully they'll be of help to you too A few other things: surgeons charge for consultations, so if price is an important consideration remember to check that too. taurodont
They were out or don't have it all now? I'm not sure if it'll even work on my phone as it is not an unlocked phone. I still need a local number while I'm there so maybe I'll check out a phone from the SKtelecom stand...

Guest
It was actually pretty difficult for me to get free wifi in most places in korea the first time I visited. They koreans always say it's free, but that's because they use a provider that has free locations everywhere and their accounts automatically tap into it. The most recent time I was in Korea, it was really brilliant having the pocket wifi everywhere and easier to find places with the use of my iphone maps, imessaging, kakao talk, google, and gmail. I highly recommend it.
Guest
Speaking of swelling, I'm looking for advice/opinions on supplements/homeopathic remedies to reduce swelling and bruising. I'm going back to work 11 days after rhinoplasty and mastopexy and I want to minimize swelling and bruising as much as possible. I've heard bromelain (controversial though), vitamin c, vitamin a, and arnica (apparently many u.s. plastic surgeons recommedn) are all good for reducing both. Has anyone taken these with success? If so, how much did you take and does that include pre-op? Thanks for any info!
chris-alexander
hi kawaiifromus oki, can't imagine being unable to use wifi in korea, that would make things so harder I will have a look at your pocket wifi device, thank you for the tip
kianpark17
I haven't had any surgeries yet, but supplements and other herbal/homeopathic remedies aren't effective. Yes vitamin C and A and even E aid in tissue repair and may affect recovery times, but aren't as effective to bring you the results I think you're after. Although it won't hurt to try. I've been doing some reading on post-care treatments like heating lamps and compression garments and they're more effective if you have the extra time and money to stay in Korea to have it done. I don't know if you can find a local clinic from your country of origin to do the same procedures. If not, then just stick to walking, elevating the affected part, drinking enough water, using bandages as ordered and having enough rest to give your body time to heal.
