For me, I didn't feel any pain during the surgery; besides the odd injection or two on my arm. I was completely awake during perhaps the last 15-20 mins of the surgery, and it was only then when I experienced slight uncomfortable moments.

I guess the most difficult time for me "so far" was the first night, when they stuck two cotton things up my nose to soak up the blood. So you had to breathe through your mouth the entire night, and that got your mouth and throat really dry the whole night, and on top of the anaesthetic you had, so the body was pretty desperate for water.

The swelling was the worse on the day after my surgery, when I woke up it was as if I had been crying for endless nights. But it slowly got better during continuous 15mins intervals of ice packs.

And the bruising was the most severe on the 3rd day; which was around the inner and upper corner of my eyes. So fingers crossed, that it only gets better from here

I had my rhinoplasty done at Siwoo PS at 3.2M won.

I'm planning to visit Korea sometime next year for nose job, which I have shortlisted to just JW and Regen for consultation. Now that I read your post I would like to explore Siwoo as well. However, I couldn't find their website.

Please advise.

I know the question wasn't for me but remember that a facelift will take care of any sagging! ^^ some younger people are also concerned about this with zygoma (cheek bone reduction) but it shouldn't be a problem unless it's performed by a surgeon that's not specialized in it... with v-line there's less chance of sagging than with zygoma. hope that helps a little... ^^

You shouldn't just ask for a clinic and then go there, the person who recommends you one might be working for that clinic or recommend it based on incomplete research... please do your own research and read the forum through... ^^ i only say this to spare you the pain of a botched nosejob...

Hi Shinyglittery, thank you for replying!
I am going to Seoul on Oct 20 for 14days to do my nose revision and fat grafting at VIP. Dr. Lee suggest me to have zygoma and mandible reduction. I am not sure that I do facial bone reduction by this time or not because VIP is special using rib cartilage do nose surgery but not facial reduction. I concern the sagging problem and longer recovery time.

Note: Regen is NOT good for v-line/chin/jaw, their results are barely noticeable except with one face shape and even then it's only a minor improvement.

In my opinion, JW and Shimmian are very good clinic for rhinoplasty. I have seen a couple of forumers who had their noses done at Shimmian and I couldn't tell they had a nose job, their noses look so natural but beautiful. And usually I can spot a nose job very easily. If I see 10 nose jobs in Korea, usually only one looks good to me. Dr Suh at JW is also very good and gentle, I like his personality. He only does 3 surgeries a day so you wouldn't have a factory feeling when you have surgery with him. But I don't like the staff and nurses at JW, some if them are not as nice as those at other clinics.

the clinic's contact info is in the ultimate korean resource thread... but i don't know anything about the doctor! the noses I've seen from Fresh look good though!

where are you from? i think they speak Chinese but i'm not sure xD just to be clear... i haven't emailed/contacted ALL the clinics on the list... not nearly... haha (but i will! just not all at once) much information is based on information from other people... here... koreans, marir's research, b&a's and newspaper articles... I'm glad you like my posts! ^_^ happy to make it easier for others to do their research... ps in the summary only things inside () are my comments~! rest are the summary ^^ ps. I remember also some negative reviews on faceline but i don't have anything to quote here... i remember their good though! oh i found it... from the blacklist posted here posted originally in a chinese forum (i think?) faceline was listed with notes "botched surgeries, deformities" :o but that's all i know!
