I never had throat pain after my mandible/vline surgery at View, not even a tiny bit, although in Korea most people experience throat pain for the first week after bone surgeries. However, when I had my cheekbone reduction at another clinic, my throat was full of blood and very painful for few days. I think it depends on the techniques of the anaesthesiologists and how good and gentle they are.
I ate solid food 5 days after my bone surgeries and had no problem or side effects. Actually for me, the sooner I return to normal life and eat normal food the faster I heal. I just couldn't stand being on liquid food for long, I felt hungry all the time.
