I know TL does and her name is Melissa or at least one of the translators names is Melissa. I asked for prices and got this back thru email. After, I told her to go ahead and cancel my consult because I dont want to waste time with clinics that play games and quote really really really high prices. I got quotes from DA, Wonjin(I know someone died there but still), and Cinderella and they werent any where near this high.

Right off the bat, Ptosis and Lower blepheroptosis should only run about 1,500 each and a discount is normally given if you do both together.

The facial contouring is one of the highest I received. Most will give you a discount/package price.

I think nose job is ok priced at 5,000.

Eyes:
Ptosis correction USD3400
Lower Blepheroptosis USD2400

Face:
Full Face Fat grafting USD3800
zygoma reduction USD7500
bodylong curved square jaw reduction USD9200
power v lifting USd3800

NoseL
rhinoplasty USD5500

Do you have any comments or reviews on The Line Plastic Surgery? I was thinking of consulting with them.

Oh the quotes I received and posted are from TL, not The Line. I looked at both clinics and like the before and after pictures from TL more.

Good news, after I told TL the prices are way to high and to cancel my appointment they gave me almost 50% off.

Will be consulting with them for sure.

Hi everyone!
This is my first post in this forum. I would like to know what some of you think is the best clinic in Korea for rhinoplasty. I had my first rhinoplasty at Shimmian with Dr Jung last year. He was a very nice man, but the consultation was rushed. My nose job turned out really bad compared to other people who have complained about their nose. My nose does not match my face at all. i dont know if it was miscommunication with the doctor or if he does not have a good aesthetic eye for facial balance. But Dr Jung was happy to tell me to come back after one year and he can fix it for free, I just have to pay $500 for anesthesia fee which is reasonable. He has been very good with responding. However, if there is a better clinic for revision, I would rather pay the whole cost all over again so I do not have to ever go for another revision. I used my rib cartilage because my nose was originally small and short. I've been deciding on VIP, because they seem very good with using rib cartilage. Has anyone here had any work done at Shimmian or VIP? Are there any other clinics you would advise? Are the results better using silicone or rib cartilage?

I believe that if you are wanting to get a rib rhino revision, you should go to April 31. The surgeon there is very skilled. VIP cannot compare to April 31. In terms of technique, reputation and specialised method, the top 2 are Dr Park from Dream and Dr Kim from April 31. For Dr Park you would go to him if he can do your case via closed rhino. That is his speciality. But he does not use rib rhino so his technique for this method would not be as good as Dr kim from April 31. Tho just fyi, many revisions can be done using ultra soft silicone so its best to have multiple consultations, not just with these 2 surgeons but with other clinics too and then decide there based on the proposed methodology for your revision. All the best!

I'm still waiting for a reply from TL

Though when will you be heading for Korea for your consultation?

Thanks for your response K couture. I just took a look at dream and april 31. I like that april31 does nice tip projection, considering that they use rib cartilage (I'm guessing). The only thing is their English website doesn't seem to have too many before and after pics. I'll still request for a consultation with them. I always had the idea that rib cartilage is better than silicone, but after looking at JW's before and after pics I'm really reconsidering.
In your opinion, does rib cartilage or silicone look more defined but also natural? It seems to me that a lot of rib cartilage rhino produces a thick bulky non- feminin and unnatural bridge. That is one of my nose's current problem right now. But I'm worried if silicone implant will produce visible hard edges at the bridge because I have thin skin. Any thoughts?

No april 31 is better for open rhino. I think very highly of Dr Park from Dream because of how he handled my complicated revision. However, if you are choosing to undergo open rhino Dr Kim at April 31 would be the better option. He uses ultra soft silicone too but for certain revisions he may use rib. Basically deciding between these 2 surgeons would require you to consider between closed vs open rhino while taking into consideration your case. That being your nose condition, the pre existing structure etc. I wrote about closed vs open rhino here: # if you look in section 2 you can find it.

Rib cartilage does not look more defined but it can. It depends on the surgeon's skill. But the reason why rib rhino has a higher rate of aesthetic complications is because it cannot compare to silicone structurally. That is, silicone is pre shaped and symmetrical while rib grafts are not. The surgeon has to craft the graft into an ideal shape before implanting. Problem is this is easier said than done. Aesthetic side effects from autologous grafts for the bridge area are bumps, humps, asymmetry and unevenness ----- all of which I experienced from my 1st ever revision in los angeles. I have also seen a number of people who experienced the bulky nose you describe.

For silicone, you do not have to worry about visible hard edges IF you use the right type of silicone and the implant placement technique is efficient. Implant visibility is often due to a harder type of silicone and/or placement technique which sets the implant too close to the superficial layers of tissue.
