Hi guys. So the surgery was a success. I'm not suppose to look at screens for a long time, but I will write review when I feel refreshed. Had a long day today. But as far as I can tell, Dream did meet my expectations  !!!!

Hmm you are right. Maybe I jumped in to conclusion too fast. I'm really liking my revision height and epi. But i will have to see after I get stitches removed. I can't really tell if I got lateral canthopexy though, I don't see any stitch. I'm sure they did though. I will update sooN!

Hi Guys.

So today is the one month mark update. So far I'm really pleased with my result. Although my left eye is a little more bruised then my right, I'm confident that it looks really good and finally gaining my confidence my back. Yes, this was a revision case, and from my experience this time, although eye surgery is a very common one, it is also a very delicate surgery. Dr. Yoo Won Jae spent nearly 4 hours on my eyes for both double eyelid revision and epicanthoplasty. Fat graft was much easier, and the whole surgery was less than 30 minutes or less and Dr. Park did a great job. I did lose some volume from the first day I started but that's expected. One way I can tell I retained it is that people can't point out what I exactly did but they are saying my nose looks bigger, and I have less wrinkles (Fat graft can work as a botox on your forehead, or at least for me). However one thing to note that, when you go in for consultation, you have to make sure your consultant and doctors are on the same page.

Dream is really good, but I couldn't get my lateral canthopexy done because on the day of the surgery Dr. Yoo said he wouldn't perform it on me. He said because of his beauty ideals, but there are other doctors at Dream like Dr. Anna and Dr. Cho who perform lateral canthopexy perhaps more than Dr. Yoo. It seem like Dr. Yoo takes practical approach and didn't want me to have complications. But now I think of it, if I performed lateral canthopexy, he would have been performing for hours (maybe up to 7 hours?), and he had one more person after me so it also made sense for me now. I did bring this up with Ms. Lee and one of the consultant there, and they were confused at first since I didn't have any stitches on my lateral sides, and I had to tell them he infact didn't perform on me. Since I already paid for the surgery, I decided to come back next year and get it when I get my fat graft touch up with Dr. Park, and of course without payment since I already paid for it. I'm going to contact Dream and Ms. Lee about my lateral canthopexy agreement soon and I will let you guys know how it goes and how I get treated because this is very important as a patient and this will let us know about their post op treatment towards their patients. I am willing to wait a year but definitely not paying for the surgery I already previously paid for. Anyways, I'm still a bit swollen so I'm putting green tea bag on my eyes at night to reduce swelling as well as putting kelacote for scar and the antibacterial ointment they gave me as well. I'm also considering doing acculift and perhaps quick zygoma with Dr. Kim if he performs it. Let me know if you guys have anymore questions.

My kako ID is chalk5. It's not chlak5 so apologize for those who could' find me. Cheers.

Hi Guys.

So I contacted Dream about it, and everything is clear, and I'm really happy with their post op service. I contacted different kakao they have with different consultants. They quickly searched their computer for the consultation, and send me snapshot of it. And I mistakenly thought lateral pexy and lateral plasty was the same, but if you know Korean pexy, Lateral canthoplasty is 뒷트임 and lateral canthopexy is 미트임. And I did the latter which opens up the space about right below your pupil rather than the side. They even asked the head consultant and Dr. Yoo to verify everything, and even encouraged me to write emails to the head consultant and the doctor himself if I still have more questions or concerns. So I'm really satisfied now, and know I got my moneys worth at Dream and learned that their post service op is great as well. Later when I return for fat graft touch up I want to get 뒷트임, acculift, and perhaps zygoma reduction (The Quick and Secret (the bone is pushed in no screws or plates) one rather than traditional zygoma where you cut the bone). Cheers and good luck with your research and hopefully my review has been helpful!

Hi there chlak5! Thank you for your review on Dream. If I'm right - can I assume that you did a lateral canthoplexy, epicanthoplasty and revision double eyelid?

Could I ask - were you under GA or LA for these procedures? What made you decide on Dr. Yoo, or was he assigned to you? How much was it in KRW (you can PM me if you don't feel comfortable putting it out here)?

Thanks x

Hey. I did lateral canthopexy and revisisional double eyelid. I'm looking forward to get done lateral canthoplasty next time. I was also under sleeping anesthesia so its sleep induced so you are able to follow the directions that are asked of you like open your eyes, look one way and look other way because little measurements matter. I heard Dr Yoo is a great, and his work is phenomenal. He only does 2 surgeries a day I believe, and really puts in his best work and he will tell you not he won't perform on you if he think it will do harm than good. So I love his honesty. Dr Yoo is the eyelid revision, and incisions specialist while Dr. Park is for non incisional. There are other doctors like Dr. Anna and Dr. Cho who are great with eyes as well and can do more specific ones like lateral canthoplasty. Do you have kakao? Mine is chalk5

Thank you for your quick reply!

That's great - I'm looking into incisional DES! Did you walk in for a consultation or did you set up an appointment? Was there a consultant/English translator in-house or did Dr. Yoo speak English?

I don't have Kakao because I don't have a mobile number

Hi there. Not a problem. Dream has in house speakers, but I'm Korean so I didn't need translator, but they have kakao and they are very responsive. I made a consultation via kakao as well. If you are looking for incisional, really look into Dr. Yoo. I promise he won't let you down. He performed for almost 4 full hours on my surgeries, and they are coming out great, and I'm really happy I went with Dream.

Hi Chlak5, thanks for the in-depth review. Would like to ask more questions about your surgery with Dr.Yoo as I'm also considering him. I couldn't find your kakao id though, it says Chalk5 not found. My id is curiouscat24 ,please keep in touch!

Yeah. Don't go to Grand. From what I hear it's not even worth taking a risk. Do your research well and choose surgeons rather than clinics.
