The most common complaints ive heard at face dental and daprs is that their chin contouring during vline causes the chin to be too sharp and pointed. I think to a point this is subjective and as with any procedure, the style of the surgeon is important. We also gotta learn how to communicate with the surgeon. If you tell a surgeon you want natural but your desired end results is significantly different to your current facial feature and the surgeon is stylistically conservative, then you might want to tell the surgeon you want a dramatic result. Ive had girls send me pix of koreans on instagram saying that they like the "natural result" of those said individuals. But at first glance to me, those aesthetic are towards a more dramatic nature as asians do not typically are features like that. So the way we communicate our wants are very important too

Thanks K Contour!! Yes, I have read mixed reviews on TFD on nerves damage and asymmetric result, not sure if they were true. But I also read they did produce very good results too... hard to tell. But they are in my short list. I also heard Braun is good for FC too. Any reviews on that please?

Hey summerflower. May I know where you have read about the nerve damage from tfd. I'm going to Korea in two weeks and I would really want to read about it. Tfd is on top of my list. I actually thought that FC at tfd is more natural and the transformation is quite conservative, based on the pics on their website. DA do produce very sharp chin.

I remember read about a black lady she put her pictures on for us all to see in a thread and said her chin looking like a witch chin. Then a promoter from tfd go and tell people personal information about her to defend the clinic. It maybe is page 3 of 4 on the forums

I see. Yes I read this thread. Though I haven't read anything about nerve damage. So far almost all the clinics mentioned here on PF have mixed reviews. Like what Kcouture mentioned, communication is very very important. I believe it is not sufficient to just tell the surgeon that you want dramatic or natural change. I would recommend to Photoshop our own photo plus bringing along few celebrity photos as reference.

Hey all, I am heading to Seoul during Oct 7-10 and will go for a few clinics for consultation. I am planning to do jaw and vline (but need to ask the doctors for more information on which surgery best suits me). Please let me know whether anyone will be there during that time. I am going alone and would like to meet anyone who can share more info with me.

Thanks.

Hey everyone, I'm back in Singapore and I'm already 1-month post op. I have done zygoma reduction, vline/lower jaw surgery and full face fats grafting with Regen Plastic Surgery. It has been a really interesting journey for me and I want to share my experience with you. The reason why I'm only giving an update now, is because I've waited for major swelling to subside so I can show you some B&A pictures! Feel free to ask me any questions, about the surgeries or Regen, and I'll try my best to answer. So here goes!

Consultation Day
: I chose Regen because it's an established plastic surgery clinic with a dedicated safety first system. I had a series of blood tests, EKG, CT-scans, X-rays, and even a personal anesthetist. The consultants at Regen helped arranged my complimentary airport pickup/dropoff and even did the hotel booking - Designers Hotel LYJ Gangnam Premier, for me. Dr Oh Myungjune was behind the face of QiuQui and Rachel Tan. He was in the popular reality TV show “Let Me In”, featured in interviews with CBS and SBS, and also represented Regen as a keynote speaker on facial contouring in conferences. During consultation, Dr Oh spoke excellent English so there was no need for a translator. He was professional, straight forward, and knew exactly what he was talking about. We decided on zgyoma reduction to reduce my protruding cheekbones, Vline for more defined jawline and full face fats transfer for a more youthful appearance. His technique would minimise any risk of sagging. Screws were used to secure my bones in position, and I could choose to remove them a year later.

Overall, I’m happy with the improvements. I want to say thank you Regen, my consultant Lee Jieun and the nurses, and especially Dr Oh, for taking such good care of me when I'm there. The changes are subtle and natural, which is what I want. My facial contour from the cheekbone, along the jawline, to the chin is much smoother now. The fats transfer has filled up the hollows below my brows, cheeks, and nasolabial folds very nicely. All these pictures are taken with a straight angle and no edits at all. The recovery will take another 6 months, so I'm still early in the stages at just 1 month post-op. If you want to read the full account and see more pics, please go to my blog which's my signature.

Hey @kittymon, sorry for the super late reply. I've just posted my 1-month update on my Zygoma reduction, Vline surgery, and full face fats transfer surgeries with Regen in this thread. You can also read the full account and see more pictures on my blog. The reason why I choose Regen is because Dr Oh Myungjune is a very well-known facial contouring specialist and I have confident in his technique. I like Dr Lee from Banobagi too but I don't think he's into facial contouring. While the clinic is important - like foreign patients support, translator, safety, anesthetian, the surgeon holds the weight of another 50% or more in the equation.

Hey how was your surgery? I just shared my 1-month post up update in this thread. The recovery can be nasty but manageable but you'll need time for the nerves to heal, bones to set and swelling to go down most definitely.

@Summerflower0, @Kebro, @JessicaCorbyn, @cathylee2, @epicmanbun, @jaspev, @missj93, @Summerof89: thanks for all your well wishes previously. I've just updated the blog with my progress and a lot of pictures lol. Hope that can help you decide to go ahead or not if you haven't already.
