I see. I just want to match your opinion and compare it to the girls. I thought you went there for consultation. But since you haven’t been there in person, I will not ask you question about Trend. But you know being there in person versus hearing are sometimes two different things. I’m looking at them for Rib rhinoplasty as he is one of the doctors that are capable of doing it.

Also, this is just my personal opinions. Beside from money factor, why don’t you search for a closed rhinoplasty doctor in America and get surgery there? Since you live there, I’m sure you like the western style and technique better versus in Korea. As it seems like you are struggling to find a doctor in Korea that fits your taste.

I agree. From his points it seems he doesn't like korean surgeons cause they are too expensive are not skilled enough... Good luck with your research though!

Yes he is planning to do rib rhinoplasty with me hence the high quote I initially made...

Its so funny that you said that because I been watching alot of Let me in the Korean Makeover shows and some of their noses on their Including this one particular skinny female judge on the show have very upturn slim fake looking noses like that kind of replicates a japanese anime cartoon character. literally not natural looking at all. Also ,for pricing purposely being higher for foreigners I WILL BY NO MEANS STAND FOR THAT AND WILL WALK OUT OF THE CLINIC IF THEY ARE TRYING TO RIP ME OFF!!!!! I will stand my ground!!!! Iam not here for any shady stuff from any clinic !!!! In fact I would rather go back all the way back home empty handed with no surgery then to be ripped off from any of them .We all have to remember that their is so soooo soooo sooo many ps clinics in Korea and they are all competing with each other your business and your hard earned money. The last thing any clinic wants you to do is walk out

watch out though, rib rhino gives a very pointy hard artificial look.

To helloyou, I said 7000 was a rip off (compared to locals) and most American clinics that have the same level if not less expertise for upwards of 12k. You cant just brush aside the money issue like it's nothing. I planned to pay 3k and that is about 400% the price but not 400% the results. American doctors are extremely money hungry. I am not as shockingly rich as many of you who seem to be able to shell out 5 figure sums in korea like its nothing, and then go back and back again to revise, fine tune etc. Furthermore I have an asian nose. More of just complaining how none of the Seoul surgeons seem to fit my case and particular wants in my previous post, but they will surely fit many of your cases. There is nowhere better than Seoul for surgery in general imo.

tt009, you seem to have misunderstood what I said. Seoul surgeons are good and cheap. What i'm saying is Cost does not mean you will get a good job, you could get 7000 for the rib rhino and still have it botched anywhere in the world. Many people say that the surgeon at trend is meticulous and only does 1 or 2 surgeries a day, so the price is justified. There are clinics like 101 that only have a few (1/2) surgeries a day and charge in the 4k range. Baum does donated rib for only 3000. I have nothing against trend, maybe they are great! I also don't care if many people are willing to fork out close to 8 mil for nose alone, then 12mil for contouring etc at the major hospitals. If you have the money, and don't mind spending it all, then great for you. But I just cant justify that sort of price tag for a simple primary rhino. Just think about it, Braun is offering a 1.8k primary rhino offer for koreans. Here you are as a silly foreigner paying 6k more of your hard earned (I hope) money just because of your race, almost zero quality difference. plus koreans can easily go back to consult the doctor if anything goes wrong, for a foreigner its do and bye bye, they can easily ignore your emails. You can't even sue them if you get botched, especially if you paid cash for a discount because theres no real record of your purchase.

Seoul has good pricing for surgery, but their surgeons prefer to use the open rhino form because it is mostly taught in schools for ease of viewing the nasal structure and easier nose jobs, hence they come out and work at clinics also preferring that open rhino technique. It is only the older era doctors that have learned and been trained in closed rhino, so very few surgeons bother to use closed rhino now unless the patient really hates any scars.

this is where your common sense comes in :P
you should interview the person first. if they push some kind of clinic to you, saying that they can get you "good deals" from their friend there, drop them immediately. For me, a student who is plastic fantastic is helping me.

Sooo, did you walk in a university and how? How did you find him? Did you catch a random person and asked him if he could translate for a fee?:amuse: Did you use any app? It would help me tremendously to hear about this!!! Please:smile:

Thank you:smile:
