threewhitefeathers Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 I've been on this forum for many, many months now looking for serious answers - and basically at this point feel like I would be much better off just going to Seoul a few weeks ahead and asking native Koreans for advice on clinics ♀️ After much digging here on purseforum, I had decided on April 31 and GNG as my top 2. But a couple weeks rolled by and I started to read some strange/shady/not so great comments which now just make me feel like I don't know what to believe ! If anyone here can give me honest, first person, nonsponsored, non fake reviews or references on the best clinics, I would so very appreciate it. . I am looking to do FC, Eyelids, and revision rhino. THANK YOU
kc_134 Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 I am in the same boat! I just don't know what to believe. All I know is that in my experience, April 31's results, to me at least, don't look so great. Considering that it's on the higher end in terms of pricing, for the results they produce they seem overrated and overpriced. Since you're getting multiple procedures, it may be tempting to combine it all under one clinic since you have a higher chance of scoring a discount for multiple services, but I highly recommend for you to seek out clinics specializing specifically in each area of plastic surgery you want in order to lower the risk of any errors or dissatisfied outcomes.
juliian Posted May 11, 2018 Posted May 11, 2018 I suggest you do a research about the procedures you want to get done, make a checklist of questions and do face to face consultation with all clinics. Gangnam is not a big place, consultation is free. Go there and find the clinic which suits you the most. And dont do all at once Facial contouring, nose, eyes are in completely different areas do one wait to see the results before committing to the other is what i would suggest

Some are obviously fake, some other may be sponsored, we cannot be sure :/ Be sure about the results you wanna get. Sometimes it may not be possible because of our natural face structure. Then check clinics official website, their instagram, reviews on other forums, gather reviews, pictures, proof, rumors. Check the surgeons who will perform the surgery. And do online counsel (multiple online consultations), ask them if they can do it if you have specific needs. Compare their replies and suggestions. I spent so much time researching and gathering info. I was literally a stalker haha. I also spent a lot of time understanding the surgery, different methods, and analyzing my own face structure. I was pretty set on my clinic shortlist. I'm back to researching because my plans have changed a little bit, but I'm still sure about my FC surgery. Oh also if you can read Chinese/Korean it helps a lot gathering information. There are a lot of good clinics in Gangnam. It's hard to tell which are the best clinics because everyone's needs are different. And also some surgeons have a very specific style, their like a specific style. So I noticed some surgeons will do everything to do what you want, and some others will stick to their "style" way of doing it. @threewhitefeathers Agree. It's on the higher end. I haven't read reviews on April31 here, but I read on other forums that their results are very natural. Too much for some people. I personnally have never been interested in April31 because it's out of my budget lol Good luck, hope you will find the best clinic for you

eurasianbeauty Posted May 12, 2018 Posted May 12, 2018 You have to do your own research. That means on here, Youtube, RealSelf, Soyoung, Babitalk, etc. The only thing you are getting that I am is revision rhino. Search my posts for the clinics I am looking at and why.
rosalind66 Posted May 13, 2018 Posted May 13, 2018 From what I know April31 can charge higher prices for rhino because their nose surgeon was the president of Korean association of rhinoplasty. Other surgeons seem to have graduated from prestigious clinics but that alone does not justify sky-high prices. It seemed that April31 targets the higher-end clientele, in my humble opinion if your case is revision rhino that is not too complicated, April31 might not necessarily provide you with better results than other cheaper clinics, even though you will be paying a premium for it. you cannot believe all reviews you read. you must consider if it is a genuine and fair review. my advice is, look at the other posts of the member who wrote the review. does she mostly only talk about clinic A? does she try to talk about clinic A whenever she can, even if the original thread is not about clinic A? does she provide before and after pics even before anyone asked for pics? if yes, most likely she is a promoter. and if you look at negative reviews, consider if the review makes sense or if the poster had any credibility. if she only posted once on PF and disappears, or talk negative about a clinic without actually doing surgery on that clinic, most likely that review is untrue.

I'm researching now too but at this point...I'm looking to MVP's Dr. Seo to get the DES done. I just wanted to know your opinion on this clinic and surgeon. I think it's valuable to know opinnions to compare and contrast thanks
