sierraneo Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 Hello all! Been a silent reader for quite some time. Finally my hubby agreed to let me have liposuction. He said I could lipo lower body only for starter. Of course being the type of person who doesn't like doing things halfway, I researched for clinics that does full body liposuction (from neck to ankle). Not that I'm lazy in exercising or a big eater. I guess it is in my blood that the women in my family go fat after giving birth (I am a mother of 2). Maybe hormones. Having a broad shoulder and big frame make me look even bigger . So I really want to get liposuction done. My search journey started way before hubby agreeing, Nov 2015 from my email record. I searched Google, Naver, forums and those blogger who did liposuction (sponsored or not). The criteria I wanted is a hospital/clinic that does full body liposuction within 1 or 2 surgery/s. I could not stay too long overseas, hubby will accompany me, leaving my kids to in-laws. Price is a big deciding factor, me and my hubby are just middle class workers. Here are some of the hospitals/clinics I contacted;365MC Found from google. Expensive, out of my budget. Different body parts, different surgeon. Few surgeries means longer stay.ID Hospital Not so sure, didn't communicate with them. Sponsored a lot surgeries.Banobagi They have their signature full body liposuction in a day. Expensive! Chatted on WhatsApp, the girl was not so friendly. Sponsored a lot surgeries.Pretty Body Clinic Get to know them from this forum. Chatted on WhatsApp, the reply is super quick, like within few minutes when their working time. Asked tons of silly questions and she patiently answer it all. Price is decent.Laprin Also get to know them from this forum. Have full body liposuction but there is limit to fat taken out for the price they quoted. More fat means paying more. Still within budget.N-Slim Found in Naver Love how they explain their 360 liposuction. Price wise to the higher side.Pose Clinic Found in Naver No translator. Talked on Kakao using google translate, hard to communicate. Cheap. The Line Emailed them, get automated reply. Nice result.Elixir de Vie (Indonesia) Amazing result. A lot videos. Doesn't do full body liposuction once, downtime between surgeries is 3 month And some random clinic in Thailand, but decided to forget about it, too risky. Anyway, I will be going to Korea on April 2019. I decided to go have consultation at Pretty Body Clinic and Laprin. These two clinic are just across a road So far I am leaning toward Pretty Body Clinic, everything explained well. Prices are within budget. Will update again after consultation. I also attached photos of my barrel body . Hope my next picture posting would be a sexy body!
fortunecat Posted September 6, 2018 Posted September 6, 2018 How about liposuction in your home country? Is it more expensive?
sierraneo Posted September 7, 2018 Author Posted September 7, 2018 Unfortunately yes. I live in Singapore, I once get quoted sgd 20k for only outer thighs.
mintsweet Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 Thanks for sharing your efforts in finding the right PS. So you will be doing it in April next year? I can't wait to see your transformation!!!
shinebright7777777 Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 Hi, You may try to contact NANA Plastic Surgery, and look for Dr. Hwang Dong Yeon (Breast and Body Contouring Specialist). NANA online consultation via Line : @nanahospital Kakao / Whats App : +8210 7150 0601 Dr. Hwang Dong Yeon was one of the doctors in "Let Me In" Korea and Thailand (TV Program)
fortunecat Posted September 7, 2018 Posted September 7, 2018 I enquired Pretty Body for the abdominal liposuction. They quoted me 4 mil Korean won which is close to S$5000. I also enquired vaser liposuction in Sg and the price would be similar if i were to take into account air ticket prices and hotel fees. My BMI is about 22.
sierraneo Posted September 8, 2018 Author Posted September 8, 2018 What I like about pretty body is that they do 360 degree liposuction. The abdominal liposuction includes the upper and lower abdomen and flanks too. When I enquire in singapore they have diff price for upper ab, lower ab and flanks. Oh, you are in the normal range. My BMI is about 25 ☹️
fortunecat Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 I have been exercising (running, weights training) and manage to lose some weight with dieting but the tummy is still there. I have emailed Dr Shens and Dr Colin Tham in Sg. Vaser liposuction costs S$7k and above. I have texted PrettyBody and the price of 4 mil krw does not include 10% tax and the compression garments which costs another 150,000 krw. I have asked if they can offer a discount and they told me to go for a consultation and decide later.
sierraneo Posted September 8, 2018 Author Posted September 8, 2018 While in Seoul you can go for consultation in other clinic too. You will find something that is right for you
fortunecat Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 For me, the price seems similar whether in Sg or Korea (after adding airtix and hotel) . Hence, i am deciding if it is worth it to fly over to Korea to do it or not. Hmm...
gats Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 I've noticed while Korea plastic surgery pricing is much better than my home country for procedures like des, rhino, and fat graft, for lipo it's not as big of discount compared to those procedures and considering you should probably stay at least 7 days after surgery, it may cost about the same or more as you've found. While Korea does produce better results for those better priced procedures I mentioned which makes flying there for them an easy decision, I don't think their lipo results are better than other countries. So if I were you and that's the only procedure you need done, I'd do it at home as imagine if you had to fly back to Korea for complication or if you need revision.
fortunecat Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 I enquired Laprin. They have quoted a lower price than PrettyBody. I asked them if it is applicable to foreigners as well. They said it is. I was surprised. But the staff also mentioned that the price is not inclusive of VAT and if the BMI is above 30, the price will be different.
fortunecat Posted September 8, 2018 Posted September 8, 2018 Yes. That is what i thought so too. I done some research and it seems that after the liposuction, one may need massages (e.g. RF) to loosen up the lumps and most likely, the clinic will provide them free-of-charge. So, this makes sense to me that i should do it in Singapore.
sierraneo Posted September 10, 2018 Author Posted September 10, 2018 You have your point, but I plan to do a full body which is cheaper if I do it in Seoul. Looking forward to the trip too as it is going to be my first time to Korea and first trip with hubby without kids!
fortunecat Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 Wah. Sounds good. Its like 2nd honeymoon. Weather in April is nice too!
